Dr. Christenson is very close to where I live, so I thought "why not give him a try"... I've been hooked on him ever since I started going to him. When I started seeing him, I had to have gum surgery (performed by an oral surgeon). When I healed I went back to Dr. Christenson and he took his time to show me what I was doing wrong (not brushing long enough, etc...) and now, because of his expert advice, I no longer need periodontic work!!! And that's been about 2 years now.... I highly recommend Dr. Christenson.

It might not be the most modern office but I did appreciate not having to fill out paperwork by hand but on the laptop instead. Dr Robinson was very knowledgeable and was very honest. This was false. My insurance ultimately covered only $279.64. After receiving my Explanation of Benefits, I contacted both the dental office and my insurance. My insurer confirmed that the office had been clearly told on the date of service that coverage applied only to the allowed amount, not the total billed amount. This critical information was never disclosed to me. I agreed to treatment solely because I was assured I would be reimbursed a specific percentage of the full cost. Since then, the office has provided inconsistent explanations, denied statements that were later proven untrue, and has not contacted my insurance again despite repeatedly claiming they were "working on it." I also requested a copy of the document I signed showing the quoted coverage, and the office failed to provide it. I have repeatedly asked to speak with the dentist or owner regarding this issue, and each time I have been told I am not allowed to speak with anyone except Ruby at the front desk. This refusal to escalate concerns or allow communication with management is unacceptable. I believe I was induced into unnecessary and costly treatment based on inaccurate and misleading information. The lack of disclosure, refusal to correct the issue, and ongoing evasiveness demonstrate a serious disregard for patient rights. I cannot recommend this office to anyone seeking honest or transparent dental care.

I've been using a tube of Anbesol every couple days it's so bad. I couldn't get an appointment at a couple of recommended Oral Surgeons for weeks. I found a place in my Home Town just a couple miles away, Dr. Sanchez. They got us in the day after we called and He did the two extractions within 10 mins of the xrays. I felt zero pain while the shots went in and then not a bit during the entire procedure. Just the force and pushing and pulling of the extraction. We were in and out in under an hour. Unbelievable! The nurses are the friendliest, caring nurses who explained every detail from the procedures to financials. Dr. Vincent is a miracle worker, my pain was gone in less than five minutes, he clearly explained my situation going on now and in the coming future. The office was extremely clean, workers were happy and uplifting, which eased my tension for being at a dentist office. My other dentist's office was quiet, cold and scary to me. Could be why I did not schedule appointments unless I had a toothache. But, I will definitely be completing my annual checkups at Barstow Family Dental from here on out and you can guarantee I will get my husband in too.
