Nerves were through the roof but staff was very friendly and professional.. I got one window tooth removed and the whole process was very professional and QUICK man was it quick I couldn't believe we were done so fast from numbing of the gums to them sitting me up and putting gauze over the stitches maybe 20 minutes if that. i'm not one to read reviews to determine who i go to, but if a dentist is going to use "implements of destruction" in my mouth (meant as a joke) then i'm going to look for the best one. i had a broken wisdom tooth and it needed to be taken out. i don't like going to a dentist and i was quite anxious and worried because i knew he had to drill. i stated my case before inspection in hopes of making it a easy ordeal and dr. damiani seemed like a no nonsense / get the job done kinda guy and made the event easier than i possibly made it for him. i was tense before and during which the actual event maybe took 5 minutes (aside from prep) i had no pain after other than the usual healing process (your results may vary) my insurance covered most of it while i did pay something that day (such as the use of gas for ease which i honestly didn't smell) but i was happy to pay if it meant no pain and quick and easy experience. i got a follow up call the next day, picked up my prescriptions then went back a week later for a check up. i believe he's been doing this for atleast 20 years and in my opinion he is the kind of guy you want doing the job. the nurse / assistant was also spectacular but i don't recall her name. again your issues and experience will vary but if you need dental work you don't want to "cheap out". read more

Inconsiderate. First patient of the day. After half hour of waiting past my appointment time, was advised the doctor wasn't even there yet. This seemed to make them think they should take me into the back where I waited almost another half-hour. Then the doctor appeared and I could tell by his greetings to the staff that he had only then just arrived, nearly an hour after my scheduled appointment. When I pointed out that this was not considerate to patients, he made it a point to tell me that I did not have to be a patient of his. So my client had been scheduled over a month ago to see DMD Damiani and roughly 30 minutes before arrival we received a call stating that there would be a 1 hour wait. My I say, my client is disabled in a electric chair and we arrived by shuttle. Which furthermore let you know we cannot just turn around and come back later. The dentist wife (office manager) was very rude and had no consideration for my client not being able to sit in her chair to long due to her surgery, which will cause her to have sever back pain. The wife had the audacity to say "can you just put her in the car and come back or just come back another day. Smh, did she not hear me say we arrived by shuttle. The nerve of her, does she not have any empathy for the elderly. When I say she is rude, the wife is VERY RUDE. read more

I highly recommend Dr. D - Besides his staff being friendly and professional, his rates being more than resonable, the cleanliness of the office, etc. the BIGGEST reason is Dr. D himself. He is a straight shooter while remaining very compassionate and caring. He recently performed extensive surgery on me, collaborated with other dental professionals and did extensive follow up. Having dealt with many Dental offices and Oral Surgeons over my 66 years I can assure you that this is a reputable, professional, next level Dental experience (take a minute to check out the Doctor's credentials). Imagine, I am not a current patient, I am admitted for an emergency extraction, everything unfolds on time as scheduled even though the Doctor is incredibly busy. He answers all of my questions and concerns treating me like a VIP patient of many years. Omg!!!! So I went to actually get my wisdom teeth plus one removed I took a Xanax .05 and hour before and one in the waiting room the frond desk girls are soooo supportive.. they shared their stories to make me feel better. When they finally called my name I was ready lol I asked. An I take another Xanax Jennifer was so nice she took great care of me.. I was under the nitrous I asked her can we turn it up.. then I felt my body gett super relaxed I was singing and dancing all to my self lmaoooo the the doctor came and he said "I'm sorry this shot here is going to hurt"(the roof of my mouth and then under my tongue y the tooth) at that point I stopped dancing and Jennifer was on the other said mothering telling me it will be okay.. at this point I was take deep breaths of the nitrous and I got back to my chair dance fever mood and I fell the hell to sleep. I woke up with the doctor saying well open wide .. (Back drop I have need to get these taking out for over 25. Year the top 2 were broken. And the night before I came I watched wisdom teeth removal on YouTube.. ‍ don't do that it will make I a bigger cry baby.. it was so bad I told my kids this were the life insurance policy is and I got a huge one with my job lmfao that how scared I was) The whole process with him on my mouth 10 min.. I love this doctor and his staff no one will ever tell me different.. I'm going there for my implant as well.. Dr Damiani was great! I had a wonderful experience when he recently removed all four of my wisdom teeth. His staff is polite and knew what they were talking about. The dental assistant took wonderful care of me and gave me awesome post surgery instructions. They made me a 1 week follow up appointment to make sure everything is heeling well. I have gone several time and still no work has been done on me. I need to have one tooth pulled and it has been a terrible journey with this office. When I call to make an appt. or ask questions they act like they don't know who I am even though I give them my name. Only one of the girls there is actually nice the others are just plain rude. My jaw got numb but the tooth still hurt when the doctor started working on it he told me I was only feeling pressure and not pain, I think I know the difference between pressure and shooting pain. We have used this Dr. for 2 members of our family with differing results. Our experience with the work done on our daughter was very good. However, the experience we had with my elderly mother was the worst experience I have ever had to deal with any medical professional. My mother's treatment entailed a period of over 2 years in order for her to prepare for dentures. The office people were terrible especially the office manager. There were mistakes in scheduling causing us to come 34 miles needlessly more than once. The doctor's actual work was ok, however, there was confusion on what the treatment plan should and would be. When we asked about the treatment there was uncertainty, lack of communication, and talked down to. When trying to talk to the office manager I was treated insultingly causing me to distrust this whole dentist's office and competency. I would not recommend using this business at all. After having another recent experience with a different oral surgeon in the area, I can compare the two. Damiani's work itself is good. I had two decaying wisdom teeth removed last summer at the age of 31 (long overdue). His bedside manner isn't bad but he doesn't explain any details. X-rays are extremely small and not enlarged so you probably won't know what you're looking at unless you have experience in this area (e.g. not a layperson). Damiani's back office staff, such as billing, are so rude on the phone and send needless stressful bills until your insurance has paid everything out (which took 4 months for me and only one form of insurance to boot). Overall cost is probably less than others but I gladly pay more to be treated with the same respect I extend to others. Damiani's business model is very old-school paper/pencil style. When I asked for a breakdown of costs, the front office staff had to pull out binders, a piece of paper, and a calculator! It was bizarre and ambiguous. I had little to no swelling which was awesome but pain that throbbed for days despite pain meds around the clock. My recovery was decent considering my age. Overall, I'd say not terrible, but not the best experience possible and when you pay collectively more than $1500 per month for health, vision, and dental, you expect nothing but the best! read more

Had a 10:30 appointment and we were early, got us in at 10:20. Mom needed a root removed from a tooth that had broke off at the gum line. Mom said the shots were not too bad. I decided to go fuel up while mom was being treated. The assistant said not to go too far as the procedure looked easy. Sure enough, getting back 20 minutes later Mom was ready to go ! Mom is a cash patient and the bill total was $290. Seems pretty fair to me. I've read mixed reviews on the staff, but everyone we dealt with was friendly, competent and compassionate. read more

Dr. Damiani and his staff was polite, courteous and quick. I had all four (erupted) wisdom teeth removed and it went far better than my nervousness allowed me to believe. I was suffering from seasonal allergies and breathing through my nose was difficult so I'm not sure how much of the laughing gas I actually benefited from but I'm not sure I needed it. This Dr. Is awesome! I would recommend to anyone and everyone! He and his staff are so professional, and so understanding!! I had a majorly infect tooth to where my face was swelled up & I had facial numbness and I was in so much pain! Dr. Took care of me, gave me a great price because my insurance wasn't approving it fast enough and it was starting to affect my health! While the doctor was nice and tried to be reassuring the staff was absolute shit! They took my phone while I was in surgery and when I finally woke up I'm having a panic attack asking for my phone and they refused to give it to me. I'm freaking out and they REFUSED to give me MY phone which they took without consent. At the point they gave me my phone and I was allowed to leave I was angry and still anxious. What makes them think that at this state of mind I want some stranger touching me?! Lord knows, but the nurse grabbed my arm and said she needs to help walk me out. I told her to let go and she refused. At this point she had absolutely NO consent to be touching me or helping me. While I understand that's her job, that's illegal to help someone if they do not consent. I would've felt a million times more comfortable if she let go of me and just followed behind to make sure I don't fall.
