Glenn Dental is located in a beautiful, uniquely mirrored building in Apple Valley (with another office in California City). The architecture is beautiful, and the parking lot is large and accommodating. The entrance is accessible with a wide ramp and no stairs for anyone using a cane or wheelchair. Inside, the facility is pristine, almost looking like a high-end luxury spa instead of a dental office. The waiting area features a mixture of seating, including plush, cozy seating as well as unique clear chairs. The receptionist area is wide, and the staff is wonderful, consistently kind, and respectful. Even the bathrooms are unique with modern see-through sinks! During my first visit in September 2025, I was given a tour explaining their equipment sterilization process, and I was shown the different procedure rooms. As someone who deeply values transparency and honesty, this immediately made me feel safe. The hygienist, Cara, was amazing. She was incredibly gentle with a wonderful bedside manner. Her gentleness was not only a compliment to her technique, but it was a sensory relief for me. Over the next few months in late 2025, I returned several times for a crown, a filling, and a few quick, complimentary bite adjustments to resolve some misalignment headaches. The high standard of care was always consistent. I like to understand what's going on with my care, and I felt safe to ask questions about my treatment without ever being made to feel silly. However, my recent experience as a VA patient showed an issue in communication. After receiving automated email reminders in early 2026 stating it was time to schedule my biannual cleaning, I reached out to Glenn Dental to initiate the request. Because the VA Community Care authorization process takes time, I expected a wait. What I didn't expect was the lack of communication during that wait. I called Glenn Dental twice over the course of two months, once on April 6 at 1:43 PM, and again on May 1 at 12:36 PM, and left two separate voicemails to check on the status of my cleaning. Unfortunately, neither of my calls were returned. Ultimately, on June 8, 2026, I chose to stop by the office in person to follow up. Since I had previously contacted Community Care and brought my authorization number with me, I was able to successfully get scheduled. The front desk representative remained professional and apologized for the inconvenience. The explanation provided was that the VA Coordinator handles those specific callbacks. However, I thought a business phone belonged to the entire front office. When I left those messages, anyone could have returned my calls. Whether it was a system glitch, a tech outage, or messages simply getting overlooked during a hectic day, the ball was dropped. I understand that third-party approvals take time and that the office has to wait on the VA. If someone had reached out with a quick, two-minute courtesy call just to say, "Hi Melissa, we received your messages and we're still waiting on the VA paperwork, but we haven't forgotten you," it would have felt like I was seen and not ignored or overlooked. I consider that an extension of my care and dental relationship. I am grateful that Glenn Dental contracts with the VA to serve veterans like me, and I truly hope this communication breakdown was just an isolated blip. Because the clinical care and the staff have otherwise been top-tier, I still recommend this facility, I just hope to see their communication updates improve for patients in the future. read more

I've been going here for about 10 years now, my whole family as well and we've watched their communication and treatment of patients decline. My last experience was a root canal that needed 3 separate appointments? and the phone calls in between i was being told different things compared to what i walk into and am told differently once i'm in the chair. This dental office is the nicest in the high desert. Dr. Glenn personally designed and decorated it, and you feel like you're in a beautiful museum, rather than a sterile dental office lobby. This is a PPO dentist, so it's a whole different world than the millhouse quantity over quality service you'll get at an HMO dentist. Noticeably after the decor, you'll notice the cleanliness. This office is immaculate clean. As a former dental assistant, having worked for both HMO and PPO dentists, I will tell you that at Glenn Dental, (PPO) you won't get prescribed treatment here if it's not necessary. As they are not an HMO dentist, they do not have to over-treat (quantity) or fear-monger you to get you to agree to treatment that isn't necessary. So you aren't going to be told you need work done, unless you actually do. They do offer Invisalign to almost everyone, but also graciously accept your decision to decline without a lecture. Their treatment rooms are equipped with the latest technology to make dental treatment comfortable and efficient. They use ultrasonic water for their teeth cleaning, so very little manual scraping of the teeth is required and it is a far more thorough cleaning in a much shorter time. Their hygienists are well trained and friendly, who also don't routinely demean or lecture you about how insufficient your flossing is. Each treatment room is semi private so it's not annoyingly loud with noise from drills and treatments happening in other rooms. Each staff member is wearing an earpiece, and they speak to one another quietly through this method, so it's very peaceful. The dentists are all exceptional, highly trained, friendly and approachable, and fit the patient-forward vibe here. Glenn Dental respects individual health choices- I take a holistic approach to my overall health, one of which involves oral oil pulling and being totally fluoride free, and they are respectful of this choice and don't lecture or push fluoride on me. So appreciative! As there are no holistic dentists in the high desert, I would ask Dr. Glenn to consider expanding into those offerings, starting with more fluoride and teflon free options for those who don't want those chemicals in the little toothpaste packets and having an option for floss that isn't coated in Teflon for "easy glide." Now that we know better about these chemicals, we can do better in serving the patients making these intentional health decisions. Each treatment room has a patient TV over each chair, however, using them seems to be discouraged, by having them off and tucked away against the wall, and not offering them, as they once did. Unfortunately, the cell service in the building is limited to one bar for Verizon customers, and they don't offer patient WiFi, which feels a bit out of context with the patient-forward vibe here. WiFi would be a simple, but highly appreciated perk so patients could listen to a podcast or music in their EarPods during treatment. I have been a patient at Glenn dental for over 10 years, and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. I truly love this dental office and now all of my friends and co workers switched to PPO and are patients here too! read more

First time using this office, we recently moved to the HD- my husband went in for a regular cleaning. He came out with an invoice for 3K for a regular cleaning. He has no other dental issues. I have PPO Delta Dental and I've never been billed for a regular check up. We declined the services and still ended up paying out of pocket for X-rays! Had a fantastic experience here the other day. Had a root canal done, which everyone knows is a pain in the butt! It took almost three hours of work! I try to patronize the services in my community but so sometimes the business will not permit you to do so. On my last interaction with this dentist I was in excruciating pain they prescribed antibiotics and sent me on my way. The lady at the desk before I left said she needed to one my insurance to determine if I'm covered, I have dual coverage mind you not to mention this tooth is killing me. I permitted her to do her job in the mean time there was no follow up appointment made nor was I contacted to advise what the insurance shared. In the mean I received a bill in the mail for 50 dollars but didn't no what for and called the office manager. He informed me that is was because I didn't cancel my appointment on a Saturday, but I had the person who took my call didn't do their job. Anyway, I finished the antibiotic but was still in pain so I went to a different dental group down the hill. The dentist performed an examination and immediately saw the my the tooth with a crown was infected and that's why I was in so much pain, he sent me to a specialist who scheduled me to be seen in a few days because the swelling had to go down. When she saw me, the removed the crown and determined the the dentist who performed the initial root canal missed a nerve so she treated it and instant relief. Ok fast forward to today. I called this place to schedule my routine cleaning and was told my account is inactive, why is this? You deactivated my account because your staff didn't do their job. I received oral surgery and dentures from Glenn Dental in March 2024. The oral surgery went well I thought. It was the denture aftercare for fitting from Dr. Glenn and Aspen Dental that is the problem. I complained about the "temporary" cushioning gel I had been given to the office staff. I was called in for an immediate appointment where nothing was done about my so-called temporary "comfort" fitting. Instead of a solution in May 2024, my can was kicked down the road for "permanent comfort fittings" in October; this was five months of waiting for my last appointment. I received a call from Dr. Glenn's office a couple days before this appointment. I told them I had a vehicle problem, and that I would have to reschedule. Instead of a last appointment, Anna at the front desk, would not give me a new appointment. I called to reschedule two days after I had to reschedule my last appointment. So, I was loading my dentures with the crappy "temporary" now "permanent" comfort fittings in my ill-fitting dentures with no where to go. Thanks Dr. Glenn, and Anna, for basically saying, "take your crappy ill-fitting dentures down the road you toothless loser." Way to treat a Disabled Veteran with four cancers (two of them bone cancers)! read more

Highly do not reccomend for orthodontics. Sure the price might be cheaper. But Dr. Glenn is never there to do treatment month after month. I encountered this for the last 2 years. I really used to like this dental office, everyone is very friendly, however I just went to get a chipped tooth fixed and had to go back to get it filed down, the dentist appeared very rushed and now my tooth feels a lot thinner than it used to be and it's not straight. I'm very saddened with the results because it is now feeling sensitive and everyone tells me it does not look even. When I brought this to the attention of the dentist he suggested I get braces, which I do want to but my tooth was not shaped like this before. I would not recommend this office. Fast forward: Today I took my special needs daughter in because she's been complaining about her teeth hurting. After my last experience with the office, I found a new dentist and went into the Glenn dental office to pay off my balance. I disputed some charges that my insurance showed me via email and asked the front desk and they just shrugged it off and said that insurance bills aren't accurate and to not mind it. She advised me of my bill at the front desk and I paid it in full... now fast forward 2 months... I'm still receiving bills in the mail because they can't figure out what they're doing. I started my contract with Glen dental and they stated that the Invisalign propel device was given to me free of charge. In my contract it showed that they didn't charge me directly for the device, but they included the $650 from the total amount of my Invisalign fees. I didn't even notice this , until I had a front desk employee calculate my amount due , and calculated that I was paying my last payment to later find out at my next appointment she all of a sudden forgot the calculation break down she told me at my prior appointment. I had full confidence that my dentist wasn't going to try to rob me blind and boy was I wrong .I asked the manager, for a copy of my contract and my payment breakdown , he apologized for her miscalculation but informed me because I didn't have Proof we had to go by what they had on file . moving forward I knew I had to keep all my receipts and watch them carefully . After reviewing my contract and throughly showing the manager where they tried to overcharge me $650, he apologized, fixed my contract and took off an extra $200 for the inconvenience. He claimed it was an "honest mistake" which I really wanted to believe so . Moving forward , I wanted a thorough break down of what I paid and what was owed. Tony assured me that wouldn't be a problem, and it wasnt, until my last appointment . On my last appointment anna pulls me into the office again to say ... "I know you've been talking to Tony , but you still owe money for propel device ". I explained to her, again... that my Invisalign package came with that device for free & I didn't owe them anything more than what was discussed In the email and I wanted to speak to the manager Tony. Once I spoke with Tony I explained to him how overwhelmed and taking advantage of I felt. Tony reviews my contract and says I owe money for the device . I told Tony to check his email in case he has forgotten that we already discussed and fixed this issue and all that I owed was in the email he sent me . Tony replied "what email." At this point I was completely disappointed because I really trusted this dental office and what was supposed to be "an honest mistake" certainly is starting to seem like manipulation. Once he saw the email we agreed on the balance due that was stated on the email and he never apologized for them trying to overcharge me TWICE ! He was very rude and unapologetic.I thought getting my braces off would be a happy experience but instead, my experience was the complete opposite. I cannot believe such a nice looking establishment like this would try to rob me blindly not once, but TWICE . Which proves to me that this was NEVER "an honest mistake" . When I first came to Glen dental I fully trusted them, after my experience I would never recommend this dental office unless they get new friendly people at the front desk who actually know how to calculate and understand the balance due, And a new manager that knows how to be a leader and calculate and remember correctly what was calculated . I am so glad that I kept a paper trail because they would've been perfectly fine robbing me blind and no one apologized. I would like to say that doctor Glen is a good dentist and I love the way my teeth look once my braces were off, but the anxiety that came with dealing with the rudest staff member of all Anna , and a manager who isn't a good leader (Tony ) was not worth it . The dental assistants Jen and Ashley were very nice and understanding of how I felt and they did the best they could to make me feel comfortable while they were taking my braces off . I really appreciate those two lady's for helping to re assure me that they would take care of me and get my braces off because at this point I completely forgot about the end goal of being happy with my new smile and having my braces taken off, all I was happy for was that I would never have to come back to this corrupt dental office again! I really hope doctor Glen takes a good look into his staff because they are killing his reputation. My only advice to anyone who is currently a patient here , or thinking about becoming a patient here, is that YOU MUST THOROUGHLY EXAMINE YOUR CONTRACT AND MAKE SURE THE MATH IS RIGHT AND THAT THEY DIDNT SNEAK ANY EXTRA CHARGES IN. I definitely learned a huge lesson from this dental office and I will never come back here . Good luck to current patients and future patients . My first visit was great, but couldn't tell you about my second visit because I have been trying to schedule something since November and they don't respond to my confirmation texts. They text to schedule appointments and when I reply to confirm (which is in the instructions as an option), they don't respond. After the texts clearly not working, I had called and left a message explaining the situation, and crickets. Surprise, they don't respond to phone calls either! It's going to be a laugh when they finally respond to me in a month again to set up my appointment that they never schedule, when it's already gonna be taken care of by another dentist. And I'm not talking about two or three ... there were about 45 glowing reviews. I went there this Saturday for a consult and he was able to do a filling same appointment. Flawless and excellent work ... truly a cosmetic and caring dentist. He listens to what his patients want. The appointment process was easy to schedule over the phone, as well as filling out my medical history on a touch screen in their reception area. Everyone was so professional and polite. I have had to have a crown replaced several times by this dentist. Doctor Joy has made this mistake. I am left with a open root canal that has been re-infected due to the crown not being causing a uneven bit and TMJ. So happy to have found this dentist. Dr Joy is wonderful and both she and Dr Glenn go above and beyond with our entire family. My son has one of the most complicated Ortho cases, and Dr Glenn has been so thoughtful and creative in his approach to keep him from having serious problems down the road, as well as losing permanent teeth. His treatment plan saved my son from really having an issue. I wouldn't recommend any other dentist up here for adults. We switched the kids here just because of location, and have not regretted it. The kids miss their old dentist (he was equally awesome!), but having ortho and dentist in the same office, close to our house, makes it easier with how much time we spend here. Very expensive! Dental work i was very satisfied with but when it comes to billing you and your insurance, WATCH OUT! They try to sneak things on the invoice to insurance company that you didn't have done. They also use a 3rd party biller and when you try to talk to someone in the office you get the run around. If you like feeling frustrated with invoices, billing and insurance by all means go to Glenn Dental. Oh and if you like the way the ladies treat you (rudely) when asking billing questions. She had bad experiences everywhere she went, including some dentists creating the need for more dental work--downright professional malpractice. Then she found Glenn Dental and recommended them. To fix a problem left by another dentist in another area, I thought I would have to spend $1000s. Instead, Dr. Joy fixed the problem for less than 10% of what I expected, included several revisits. The office is an architectural treasure. It is clean and the staff all personable and professional. Everything speaks of going beyond expectations.
