Stopped in for a second opinion on beginning an Invisalign treatment for the second time in my life. At first, I was VERY apprehensive to get work done here due to the close proximity of the treatment chairs to eachother. Me having an admitted "slight" fear of the dentist.... then I'm smack right next to someone while possibly getting a Root Canal, YIKES! That's a Hard NO for me, he he! I'd rather be terrified alone in some back room or even a basement, lol! Thankfully.... I found out I can just throw that fear right out the window as they DONT do Root Canals and other invasive dental work there at all! Just braces, Invisalign, polishing and strictly cosmetic stuff! Phew! I can exhale. In that case... I think I can manage the open floor plan for a little while! ;) Regardless of the set up.... Dr. Monica is the main reason I would return. She seems very genuine and good-natured, and she flat out told me I should try to KEEP my natural teeth for as long as possible!! She said I already had a beautiful smile and she would NOT suggest Veneers! Wow, that just blew me away. As I completely forgot there are still compassionate dentist out there who's main goal is NOT stripping your teeth down like a poorly varnished floor and slapping some expensive oversized hubcaps on your Grill. Teeth looking like garage doors, he he! My last dentist wanted to strip them all down (if she could) and replace them with some extra white blinding veneers so I can look like some Hollywood douch-bag, fake as hell. My old dentist turned out to be a straight clown without a professional bone in her frail, boney body! How is that even possible??? He he! I went through an Invisalign treatment. I saw the doctor about a handful of times in the 2.5 years. When I asked to speak to her, they always referred me to an office assistant. I had a faulty tray that twisted 2 of my teeth and the doctor blamed me. I wore those trays religiously. Even when on vacations. She didn't look into it. I emailed Invisalign and they took months to reach out. I would go with braces and with another orthodontic doctor. Do your research and look at the Invisalign grading if you do decide to go with Invisalign. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE FOR INVISALIGN. read more

This Orthodontics sucks. My braces and everything always hurt so badly and they would never trim my wires correctly and they would make me bleed and irritate the back of my mouth every time. When I got one of my brackets replaced it popped off as soon as I walked out the door. After I got my braces off they couldn't even get all the glue and blue spacers off of my molars. horrible staff! all have attitudes. they didn't do her brackets right and kept trying to talk me out of having them fix it. i refused to just leave it like that. they made me schedule another appointment to be seen. so we had to come back again to have them fix it. 20 minutes past the appointment the women at the front desk claim they don't go based off times we are scheduled, and they go off a list instead.... so what's the point in making an appointment? have to wait over an hour just to be seen for THEIR mistake. I know they're making us wait because they're irritated with us. super unprofessional and very spiteful. I wouldn't come here their staff is so rude!!!!!! read more

During the whole shut down I was pretty bummed that the office completely shut down which made the process a bit longer, however once the team opened back up I enjoyed coming to my visits! This place is very clean and sanitized! (Peep the air purifier in the patient treatment picture.) All of the staff is very friendly and kind! Jasmine in the front was super nice and even showed me her braces and progress compared to her other ortho. This is also going to be my second time getting braces (wear your retainers please!) I have been looking around this is the 3rd office I go to. The prices are similar this one was the cleanest and almost cheapest place. The other place was cheaper but was not nearly as clean as this office. They also used the older x-rays and did not have a "clean" brushing area. This place was amazing! Everything about this place is awful. The wait time. The quality of care. My kids brackets were constantly breaking off sometimes before we got home. They would have the kids in tears the other half of the time. There are still pieces of braces in my daughter's gums after they removed them. And they take way longer to get your kids out of braces as well. The worst orthodontist experience you could possibly find in the area. read more

I recently started my Invisalign treatment and I have to confess that visits to the dentist make me very nervous. I met Dr. Velez and her staff and liked how friendly and welcoming they are. The first appointment, I had xrays taken and at the consult they explained all my options to fix my bite. They have new technology in the office that made me feel more comfortable and less pain. They used a 3d scanner to take a picture of my teeth and showed me, what the result would look like at the end, that was really nice! After a few weeks, I just received my new Invisalign trays and can already tell my teeth look better. I love this place and especially Ben. He explained everything in Spanish and is super friendly. Dr. Velez and her whole staff are amazing! Our daughter needed braces and the whole experience was terrific. The two years went by like a breeze. The staff are all polite and super quick and knowledgeable at what they do. This past Monday was the day for her braces to come off, get fitted for the retainers, then a few hours later pick up the retainers. My son has been a patient here for over a year and they are okay. The office staff is very friendly and the office is clean. I don't like that the appointments are always scheduled six to eight weeks from last appointment when it should be every four weeks. I asked why and they said because they have a lot of patients and everything is always booked. I feel like maybe they should stop taking patients or bring in extra help. My son's appointment today was definitely inexcusable with the wait time. We had to wait TWO HOURS!!!! TWO HOURS outside in the heat. Not one courtesy phone call to say they are running behind or anything!!! It was beyond ridiculous and many people outside were upset. I'm pretty sure if we were behind two hours he would not have been seen. The office said they were behind because of low staff which is understandable but to have patients waiting that long and not explain why is not okay. I'm just glad he only has a year left to go on these braces. read more

Their wait times are ridiculous. Expect to wait at least 45 min(sometimes 1.5hr) for them to even call your child back. Appointments are 8+weeks out, even though they tell you that it would be 4 weeks in your initial consult. This extended our initial treatment plan from 2.5 years to almost 4!! The contract you sign doesn't apply if their prices go up. For example my son completed treatment and lost his retainer (happens with most kids) and they will not honor the replacement price in the contract. So the new price is $1,000. They also don't do permanent retainers, which they told me they did in my consult. They seem nice until you need something, then the excuses pour in. I have seen multiple parents fighting with them at the counter over the same concerns that I have. Yes the smile will look better, but you can achieve that with practically any ortho so save yourself the headache and find someone else. If 0 stars was an option they would have gotten it. read more
