    Handroll Nigiri Sashimi menu

Really enjoyed dinner here! Feels upscale and clean, dim lighting, music playing. Our server was Dani, she was very nice and attentive. We tried tons of different dishes, everything was delicious! The Wagyu was melt in your mouth good, so was the yellowtail & the tuna handroll! The edamame was SO good, not spicy, super garlicky couldn't stop eating it! The fries were super crispy the seasoning on them added a little kick, delicious! The only thing we didn't really care for was the crispy rice, it was just too much rice. Not pictured are the drinks we got - the lychee martini is DELISH! Highly recommend! We also got Yellowtail Tsunami roll - was amazing as well! A little spicy, loved it! Very excited to go back!

Wow!! So happy to have an upscale Japanese restaurant in Downtown Redlands. The place is two stories with plenty of seating. The decor was beautiful. SERVICE: Outstanding! The hostess at the front was super friendly and got us seated for our reservation very quickly. Our table server Danni was fabulous!! She was very helpful for us first-timers and was super attentive and friendly. (We'll be coming back if we get treated this good!! Great hire) FOOD: So delicious!! We tried a little bit of everything. The menu is still limited due to the newness of the restaurant, but we heard the menu will be expanding soon!! Our favorites were the steak frites, rainbow roll, crispy r....who am I kidding? We loved everything!! Yes! You have to go try this place. Yes! You will love it.

Came here for soft opening. It was so cute. I love the vibes. Nice bar and they have a second floor. The service was very nice, I forgot our servers name but he was very nice. It was a little pricy but the food was delicious ! It is not a "roll" place. They do hand rolls, sushi and nigiri's.

Beautiful decor, beautiful ambiance, and great service. The food visually was stunning, but tasted even better. Zoe was our server, she was very attentive, well versed on the menu, very sweet, and gave great recommendations. Tried two cocktails: the lychee one and another I can't recall but had tequila. Both were very good. Steak frites with the Japanese chimi on it was fire. So good that we ordered another one. One small critique is the first steak was a little chewy. Second one came out like butter. Can't remember all of the names of the things we ordered, but yuzu yellowtail was our number one winner. We ordered another one of those as well. We got edamame, oh and the miso soup!!! The miso soup was so rich, so salty, the dashi you could taste the hours of cook, the mushrooms added a great earthiness. Our kids loved it. The baked shitaki crisps on fish was amazing. The salad had this sesame dressing that was so good, I wanted more cucumber in it. Crispy salmon was soooo good! The crisp on the rice is phenomenal. Oh, and the cheesecake. We got two. great experience. The vibe. The food. The people and service was great. Redlands needed this and we are very excited for their success.

Bf and I went to State Street to look around and parked right in front and noticed a new restaurant was open. We were surprised because two weeks before we saw the location and was wondering what will open after Rock N Fondue closed. So we were pleasantly surprised to see the new restaurant and decided to try it. It was their official opening night. We were greeted and seated right away. The interior was so chic and elegant, with more tables upstairs. My only tiny critique would be the music was slightly too loud for my taste, but I understand it's a bar restaurant. All service was so friendly and great. The menu is an interesting Japanese fusion, which we love. The drinks were also very interesting. I had the Corpse Reviver and the Crispy Rice (with spicy tuna). He had the Sunomono salad and the Yuzu Yellowtail. All was so good! The drink has several liquors in it and it was plenty for me to sip on throughout the night. We look forward to going again.

Stopped by just before closing to see what the new place is all about. Loved the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. I look forward to eating here soon!

Went in for date night. We got 1 item and were asked if we were ready for the check. Had to remind waitress we were missing items 3 times. Yes, everything is over priced and you can get all these items with better flavor at any local AYCE sushi for half the price. We were over charged and they never answered the phone to fix the issue. It's a cute place but go somewhere thats worth your money.

Definitely beautiful ambiance and a good place for a date night. Fish was fresh, however the cuts were not done very well. Our sushi rice was lacking in flavor and also very warm, which made the raw fish warm as well. The yellowtail specialty roll was the best dish of the night, but quite overpriced at $24.

The service was great. Bluefin toro and yellowtail hand rolls were amazing, and the vibes were chill.

My husband and I did a date night here and I believe it was their soft opening (didn't realize that when I booked). The service was great, food quality and taste was so fresh and tasty and every thing came out very quickly. The drinks were delicious and pretty stiff! lol. It's a total vibe in there and I'm so excited because I've been wanting a sushi/Japanese place to come to down town. I am excited to go back when they have their full menu.

Absolute Gem in San Bernardino!…read more From the moment you walk into this clean, quiet, and relaxing spot right across from CSUSB, you feel right at home. The food is on another level. We ordered: * Mongolian Beef: This was easily some of the best I've ever had. The beef was incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned, and sautéed with fresh carrots, bell peppers, and onions in a special sauce that hits all the right notes. * Vermicelli Combination: You can tell everything is made to order and uses high-quality ingredients. Their spring rolls with rice vermicelli and peanut hoisin sauce are fresh, light, and packed with flavor. What truly made the night, though, was the phenomenal owner working behind the counter. She was welcoming and positive and very helpful. The service here is immaculate--the staff is so friendly and welcoming, and the owner clearly takes immense pride in the business. Our food came out super fast, and the portions were very generous for the price. If you're looking for authentic flavors and a unique dining experience in San Bernardino, this is the place to go!.

The honey walnut shrimp was crispy and juicy, the prawns used were large and the nuts added to the dish were a nice touch, Mongolian beef was also flavorful and well made, and the chow fun dish reminded me of Pad See Yew in its use of wide flat noodles but the Chow Fun had a nice smoky flavor, wasn't spicy, and the beef was tender. As you enter the restaurant the ambiance is warm and inviting. The staff that took my order was knowledgeable and patient as I perused the menu. I noticed there are quite a few reviews complaining about bad service and orders being incorrect. In my personal experience, I haven't had any major issues, but I can see why some mistakes happen. One thing that drives me crazy is when servers don't write down orders. The young lady who took our order had to come back and confirm it with me twice. At that point, it would have been easier to just write it down the first time. To be fair, I think a lot of the negative reviews could be avoided with that simple change. When you're trying to memorize multiple orders, mistakes are bound to happen. Wrong orders lead to frustrated customers, and frustrated customers leave 1-star reviews. That said, the food itself is decent and has been consistently good during my visits. If management can tighten up the ordering process and have servers write things down, I think it would improve the overall experience and help the restaurant earn the ratings the food deserves.
