I loved the peanut sesame dressing and noodles in this salad but wished there was more chicken. Mayak Egg Noodle Bowl, $8.99- My husband picked this salad for himself but I didn't have any. He thought it was good and appreciated something fresh, as his bowl had shredded cabbage, like my salad, and cucumbers and shredded carrots. Pumpkin Pie, $6.99- My husband saw this small pumpkin pie and decided to get it because he is such a big fan of it. I actually don't like pumpkin as much as when I was much younger. But I did like this pie and thought the flavors were well balanced, not too overly sweet. ---------------------------------------- (Total= $24.97) I really appreciated that the little dining area (there is also an outdoor dining area as well but because it had rained previously, we opted to sit inside) had plastic bowls and plates available for you to put your food in. This was helpful for me to be able to thoroughly mix my noodle salad since the dressing was mostly on the bottom. Then after I mixed it, I just put it back in the plastic container and only left about 1/3 of the salad in my bowl to eat. If I lived in this area, I would definitely be a regularly of this market (specifically for the prepared food area).

Jack's Country Store in Ocean Park is a classic merchantile…read more It is well stocked with assorted merch like kitchen utensils galore especially cast iron and pickling/canning gear, nice finds for the kiddos, hardware selection, unique nostalgic souvenirs, and a grocery store all housed under one roof. It was fun wandering the aisles, even bought a jar of Jack's Country Store strawberry jam. Big smiles at the checkout stand.

The walk-in beer cooler is accessible from both sides of the store and the selection of beer, cider, and wine was extraordinary! They had a variety of local and non-local, and all price points so you definitely have options depending on your mood. There were a ton of produce and fresh food options that I saw as well, even though we didn't purchase anything from those. I never caught the cashier's name, but she was a shorter, dark haired lady and was so so nice! She talked to me about my wine option and reassured my choice was a good one! Definitely recommend stopping here whether you're passing through, camping, or enjoying a beach getaway!

I appreciate having an occasional glass of wine, and expect that it's difficult to find a quality wine selection in a small town that probably depends very heavily upon the tourist trade. Frankly, most towns known for heavy tourist traffic usually don't do well when it comes to what they stock in wines -- they usually aren't that impressive. I was truly shocked to see an excellent selection of highly-rated wines, especially for domestic Cabernet Sauvignon. If you enjoy having an excellent wine, this is the place to find it.

You can probably skip the food trucks - the sandwiches and paninis at V's are excellent, and less expensive. Plus they have beer and wine! The service is amazing - they really go out of their way to make your visit pleasant. One time, I was craving a special sandwich I had tried there previously. It wasn't currently on the menu, but Jared replicated it anyway! For a fresh sandwich or panini, stop in and give V's a try!
