Finally a mochi donut place in KC!!! They're located in the same strip as Legends of Asia. The staff was super friendly. I would recommend going there early as many flavors can be sold out. They also sell boba tea there as well!

one of the softest donuts i've had. service was great and she even threw in a few extra treats for me

We've been a couple times now trying to sample every flavor and by far my favorite is the Ube with coconut being a close second. The matcha flavor is very light and yummy as well. My family enjoyed the strawberry crumble and lemon, but they all got eaten! The only one I personally didn't like was the one with cereal on it and im not even sure what flavor that was. Highly recommend trying them out, I love that they aren't overly sweet and are easy to share. The shop was cute and I love being able to order them on DoorDash now, we will definitely be back for our favorites!

I got 6 mochi donuts in ube, matcha, strawberry crumble, golden maple, fruity pebbles, and Oreo. They were good and chewy. I really wanted to try the black sesame flavor, but they didn't have it that day. There's plenty of seating inside and it's in a strip mall, next to the Chinese buffet. I liked that there were unique flavors! "Strawberry crumble" tasted like the strawberry shortcake ice cream bars & was my personal fave! Most surprising was the "golden maple" w/golden crisp cereal on top! It was SO good! I also had the taro milk tea which was a tad sweet, so I may ask about adjusting the sugar level next time.

Love their variety of flavors. My favorites are matcha, oreo and golden maple. Compared to other mochi donuts l've had, these are the chewiest and have the best flavor. The owner is extremely nice and friendly. Definitely a must go for me!

I had no idea we had mochi donuts in the burbs! Very excited to find that the donuts and boba are delicious! And the staff is SO kind and kid friendly.

The best donuts and service! I got 6 donuts and loved them all! Definitely recommend strawberry crumble and ube.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. We settled for Dunkin & I honestly wish we didn't. Ordered via drive thru. Asked for a dozen donut holes and 2 glazed donuts. I then get " HOW MANY ?! " Excuse me, it's too early for the attitude. But how many do you think a dozen meant? I then get a " what else" , well, sweet Susie, did you hear my 2 glazed donuts? I'm preg & I've got a toddler, I'm in no mood to be spoken in a disrespectful manner just for so damn donuts. Pull up. Paid. I got a bag that stated " 2 mini bagels". She left to get the munchkins. I handed her the bagels & said " this isn't what I ordered " so we switched for the 2 glazed donuts. Got the donut holes and as I drove off, I saw they were choco donut holes. Couldn't reverse since we had impatient Nancy behind us. So I had to go back thru the drive thru. Told them " second time yall messed up. I asked for glazed and got chocolate. " All I hear is " she said WE messed up her order " I loop back to the window & switched it out then asked " now I'm curious. Did I pay someone else's order? Since I've received 2 wrong orders.. " And the gal goes " I don't think so. I don't know " . Can we like, not check?! And all I could get was " no it's not wrong " without checking. I don't know what was going on today, but everyone but 1 person was obnoxiously rude, condescending and just didn't seem to care. My son didn't even eat the donut holes, curious to see why, I ate one and realized it had a cleaning product smell to it. Luckily the glazed donut didn't & he settled for half of that. Definitely will never be back.

I've shopped at this Hyvee location almost exclusively for over 6 years now. I love this location…read moreas I've always had great experiences with their employees and management. They are always eager to help you. About two summers ago I was out front of their store eyeing a set of patio furniture. The manager just happened to be out there rearranging the last set they had left and asked if he could be of assistance. I asked him about the price and if he could work with me since summer was almost over. He realized I was an older woman and he wanted to help me so he gave me a nice discount... and since I lived so close to the store he delivered the set to my home personally. He didn't have to do that, and I was thankful. Today I was shopping in their aisles online phone app and was having difficulty getting through the process that I've completed numerous times over the years without issue. It kept changing the delivery times and kept kicking me out. I ended up having to phone the store, and I spoke with the service person at the Aisles Online desk. His name was Colton, if I recall correctly. I just want it known how very pleasant, helpful, and professional he was. He took care of my issues and walked me through the actual website order process - patiently... which I rarely use to shop with (I'm used to using the phone app). He took matters into his own hands and assured me they would shop my order personally and see to it that we had our groceries delivered expeditiously. He even told me he'd fix the extra delivery charge that was charged to me due to the app not functioning properly, and kept changing my delivery window 3 times! I was very impressed with this young man. I'd say he's a real asset to that Hyvee location. I'll assume he has to be a manager, and if not, he really should be!!! They've got a real gem in that young man, and hopefully they recognize that fact and have placed him where he's of the most benefit to their firm. I also use the pharmacy at this store as well, and have always had a pleasant experience with their representatives. No complaints! I believe your experience with people in the customer service field in general have everything to do with how you approach them for aid. I certainly couldn't do their jobs... not everyone possesses a spirit of kindness and understanding as second nature. But imagine what this world would be like if they did!!!

(Review from 8/8/2019: Transferred from closed secondary account.)…read more *This place is a lovely, unique restaurant and bar. I believe they are privately owned and operated. They offer daily specials, weekly trivia contests, and a live music. Entertainers generally play live music several nights a week. Sinclairs host mostly acoustic performers, mainly on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Most of the entertainers feature guitar playing solo artists in the bar area. As for the food... it's all pretty tasty. Served in an upscale fashion. And worth mentioning is THE ABSOLUTE BEST MEATLOAF I have ever eaten outside of my own kitchen; and yes, possibly even better than my own... which speaks volumes because I'm generally an excellent cook and extremely particular diner. (Not bragging - just emphasizing that my standards are high). This meatloaf is hearty, rich, and moist, with a firm meaty texture (Not over done with fillers). It's cut generously and served over freshly mashed potatoes topped with a complex & flavorful sauce I'd liken to a rich brown gravy with a hint of herbs & possibly a tad bit of steak sauce for good measure... Its the star. I just wished they served this on their daily menu! Speaking of... their entire menu is thoughtfully made, and the chef deserves major kudos for their talents in the kitchen. I will go with friends in tow to enjoy a night off in the kitchen, to enjoy some of the best meals our city has to offer. Looking for something do? Sports Watch Parties are a good time: Sinclair's serve as the neighborhood hub when it comes to watching our very own Kansas City Chiefs play. They will also host other major local or national sporting events. If sports aren't your thing, try your hand at trivia night on Mondays. You'll be glad you didn't stay home!
