We debated between OK Cafe and the Longhorn for breakfast, and we chose wisely! Our server, Carrie, was amazing and sweet and all of our food was homemade and DELICIOUS! We were stuffed, but took a piece of homemade pie to go because it was selling out in front of our eyes, and our neighboring tables were telling us it is the best pie in Southeast Arizona. PS - I wanted the breakfast burrito but cringed at the Doc Holliday Burrito, which comes smothered in gravy AND pico de gallo. Our server said it was amazing so I tried it and OMG it was so good! Liked it! Would absolutely come here again. Good spot at the end of the main walking area in Tombstone - close to the O.K. Corral and Four Deuces Saloon. The waitress was nice and informative. You get a real locals feel being there. It's not just tourists. While we were there, a local pulled up in his car and the server ran outside and flipped the sign over to closed. She said that for him, it's closed. He laughed and she laughed. It seemed to be all in good fun and not anything dramatic. Stopped here during our visit in tombstone and had a great breakfast! So great we came back again the following morning. Although they don't allow dogs we were fine ordering to go and eating it outside. As we were sitting outside someone from the OK cafe came out with a big bowl of water with ice for our furry family member. The staff was amazing and welcoming. We will definitely come back again and we're actually looking forward to it! We highly recommend the corn beef hash and the amazing pancakes. The only good thing I experienced from this restaurant was the great customer service and I have to say the workers were very hard-working!!!!! The whole drive to Tombstone, we were so excited to try the Doc Holliday burrito, but when we got there and ordered it, we were very disappointed. We smothered it in their hot sauces (I don't even like hot sauce) just to bear through it. The only reason this place gets three stars, is for the service. I do have to say the food is way better than a steak restaurant nearby, where that food was really nasty, in my opinion. OK Cafe was open for breakfast and lunch. The place was packed when we walked in but it was a holiday weekend. We were lucky in that there was one table open and waiting for the four of us. It took a long time for the server to take our order and even longer for us to receive our semi-cool breakfast. An ok breakfast, nothing over the top phenomenal about it. We were one of only 3 customers this morning but it was within walking distance of our camp ground. I had French toast which came with 2 eggs and 2 strips of bacon or meat of your choice. The eggs and bacon were fine but the French toast was pretty bland. Solid food everytime I come in. Service with a smile, even though their always busy. I've had the Virgil Earp buffalo burger with bacon, cheese, and avocado. Great flavor, but with all the tasty toppings I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the buffalo and the angus beef burger I had the next day. I got their too early for French fries, so they offered other options including a cup of soup. They recommended and I took them up on the soup and WOW - was I happy I did! Chicken noodle and it was home made amazing. I'm not a big soup person normally, so for me to rave over it tells you it must be great! I've had the fries and they're really good too. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the flies situation. I like to sit by the window, and I guess that's where the flies prefer to be as well. It was probably worse in the 1800's, so I should probably just suck it up and deal. I really hate those darned things though! read more

We stopped in Tombstone this last Sunday. Town was full of tourists, so we decided to eat lunch before we started our activities. We had a friendly welcome & service right away. The menu had all the good, classic dishes we were looking for. Service from everyone working there was excellent and everyone in our party of six was happy with what they ordered. The homemade chicken noodle soup I had was the best I've EVER had! Our only disappointment was that they were out of pie already. My roadster car club has made runs to this restaurant in historic Tombstone on a couple different occasions. Although Tombstone is very touristy, the place seems to attract a lot of locals. If possible, I would have rated it 3.5 stars, but since that isn't an option, I rounded up to a 4. On both occasions our waitresses were very friendly and the overall service was very good. Once upon a time, many years ago, this is what breakfast places looked like. These days most breakfast places are the lair of hipsters, foodies, gourmands, local-sourcers, artisans, gustatory enthusiasts, and pretentious waxed-moustache hooligans. But long ago, places like this dotted the land and offered darned fine breakfasts at reasonable prices with great customer service. We came here for breakfast and were really pleasantly surprised. Sausage, Biscuits'n'Gravy, and Banana pancakes came out in large portions and were absolutely delicious. The coffee kept flowing and everyone in there was *really* nice. It's nothing fancy, and you won't find the words 'artisan', 'organic', or 'hand-crafted' anywhere, but honestly that's one of the things that I really liked about it. read more
