The sides were barely warm, the brisket was a bit too tough for my taste, the fries were too skinny (also barely warm) and the wing skin was softer than I prefer- he wings have potential - I would have loved them crisped up before being sauced. Overall, the food landed in the middle for me. That said, the interior is super cute and has a welcoming vibe, and the guy working the register was very friendly. I am glad we made the drive and checked it out, especially on such a pretty day in Cedar Hill.

Now - the star of the show: the food! Smoked wings 7/10: a little undercooked for my preference but nice smoke flavor. I did get the hot honey sauce on the side but not a fan of the flavor. Maybe I'll try these with the sauce next time because it may help add flavor to the wings. The ranch was homemade - which was good. Elote 8/10: this was really good and hard for me not to eat the entire thing! Great flavor and nice portion size. Baked beans 6/10: not my fav side and I'm used to slightly sweeter baked beans. These had a tart taste - not bad or sour just not sweet enough for me. I'd definitely come back and try the barbecue next time.

Ojedas has been around for a few years and truly represents Tex-Mex well. It's great to have a place near Love Field that serves such tender brisket, especially in a taco. While I enjoyed the puffed taco, the highlight was the salsa and chips; the salsa had perfect flavor and pico level. My mom's fresh, green guacamole was also a hit.
