This was my fourth time coming here. I always get the Veggie Ramen since I'm a vegetarian and I love having something with soup. Food: The Veggie Ramen is pretty good. One bowl comes with veggie ramen (green-colored), tofu, bamboo shoots, scallion, Chinese broccoli, bean sprouts, and soup. It's a good combination of vegetables and ramen, making it a just-right portion size for a lunch or even dinner meal. Service: The service is always good. The front lady is always helpful and nice. The food usually takes around 5 minutes to prepare, so it's also quick. Price: Price is pretty average for a meal in Collegetown. Ambiance: The inside isn't anything special, but the most important thing is that it's clean and a good place to sit down for a meal. Overall, this is a great place for some yummy ramen with soup. The service is quick and the prices are typical of something in Collegetown! I'll definitely keep on coming back.

A go-to for fast casual in Collegetown. I always get the Katsu Don - it's by far the best thing on the menu!! I've had the ramen before, and I think it's below average.

I lived in Japan years ago and this feels like the bowl my neighbor would make for our craft group: nice and filling but not gourmet, yet I grew to crave it! I had the fried tofu bowl with veggies. (Over rice). The tofu is popped into a deep fry, I think, which results in a little chewy ball that pops open I. Your mouth. (Airy inside vs solid cubes). It was the same way at the foreign school in Japan. Feels "home-y". Also had a bun, ( big enough for 3ppl but not soft), and the sweet sticky rice! If you also crave this little treat, it's very good here! Again, just like my friend made and / or we found at the school. (See pic). This is also addictive. I took it on the road with me and ate it all the way home.

Overall not bad ramen (will be interested to try some of the other menu items here). Since this is in Collegetown, there's a major convenience factor here. The broth wasn't quite as thick as the broth I've grown accustomed to, but it doesn't have a pretty bad taste. The noodles are on the thicker side and are quite soft/chewy. The actual pieces of pork aren't as fatty as I'm used to, which is probably the most disappointing thing for me (I love a nice fatty piece of chashu). Not bad for your ramen craving in a pinch.

I love this place! It's reasonably priced and close to campus. I don't think I have ever had a bad experience here. I mean sure the decor is below average and it's a big run down, but the food is spectacular! My favorite is the tomyum noodles, which are really spicy!!! Here is a picture of the katsu don.

Oiishi Bowl is a convenient and economic option when one is craving for Japanese style food. The food quality varies with items and as a whole mediocre. The fried fish rice bowl is decent if you like the sauce on the fish which is slightly sweet; the breading of the fish fillet is generally nicely browned and crisp, not soggy or overly greasy. Sometimes the fish fillet is very thin comparing to the breading though. The miso ramen is too salty for my taste and reminds me of the Ichiban Instant Miso Ramen. The sticky coconut rice is microwaved, I believe. And I found a strand of hair in it when I ordered for the first time (and last time). The seller was polite and prompt to replace it though. The fried tofu veggie bowl is a big disappointment. The fried tofu, like another poster mentioned, has a layer of translucent gummy breading and a stale greasy taste to it. The flavoring of the veggies were subtle and decent but the tofu really ruined the dish.

I first came here 3 years ago while at Cornell, and I remember being pleasantly surprised that this little shop on a small corner in college town could taste so good! I recently came back to this ramen shop with my mother and it was simply delicious!! For such a rainy cold day, a hot steaming bowl of ramen soup was so perfect! One complaint I had: despite the lines being short due to the quick service, the store is very cramped and it gets extremely crowded. Because of the amount of tables and chairs stuffed into the tiny shop, getting around is a nightmare when there are multiple groups of college students eating there.

Too many customers in such a small restaurant. Hygiene is suspicious at best. Little amount of food.

Meh. Miso ramen is so so. The best thing about this place is their prices. It makes you full but not satisfied.

Good Jajjangmyeon in Ithaca!…read more My parents recommended this spot to me- and they are very particular about their Asian food. They absolutely hated Kimchi. I finally got around to trying Asia Cuisine though must admit I was a bit hesitant given their extensive menu (I feel like if a restaurant offers too many types of cuisines the quality takes a hit). However, I was pleasantly surprised! I had been craving jajjangmyeon (I had it once at Koko's but it was not good) and ordered Asia Cuisine's C3 green tea noodle w jajang sauce. The noodles were delicious! Al dente and the slightest hint of green tea flavor! The jajang sauce was a tad oily and not super traditional, though I still enjoyed it- especially the addition of onions! Service was okay. Nothing exceptional. While I haven't tried any of their other menu items, I would recommend their green tea noodle jajjangmyeon!

It's a casual atmosphere with friendly service. We honestly walked in cause we overheard several people saying it was better than "this", "this", and "that". But honestly the aroma from the kitchen was enough to draw me in. Definitely tasty, fresh, well portioned and highly recommended.

The service is another issue, the main issue I have is they givve you the check in just under or just over 30 minutes That means if you want to add a beverage you have to get them to take back your check and add the drink to it, It's really a suggestion to finish up and leave. I've talked to them about it, and it still happens. The other issue with service is mainly only one time out of the six times I've been there have they cleared away my dishes after I've finished them. And the odd thing is both with them giving you the check after a half hour and not clearing away the dishes, one of the staff who is an older woman and doesn't speak a lot of English will come up to you if you don't leave a tip or don't leave enough of one and ask you/ tell you that she wants a better tip. Now I always do tip, If I'm not using cash then the tip goes on the card at checkout and if I am using cassh I do put it on the table and I tip the casheiers too. I'll be honest with you. if there were any place that i'd be tempted not to tip it would be when being served by that one older woman who tries getting you out in a half hour and speaks just fine when she feels that she's not eating tipped enough I've been there about 6 times now, the food when it's good is good, but not spectacular but you also have to keep in mind that its all you can eat for under $20 and on that basis alone it's worth going if you ignore the suggestion to leave when they present you with eh check just 30 mi9nutes after getting there
