It was a small but delicious bite. The next course we had Asian Caesar salad - grilled romaine with sesame dressing and toasted panko. It was crispy with a smokey flavor that was very good with the sesame dressing...the panko giving that extra little crunch. I especially loved the Fluke served in a fennel butter sauce with fried capers. I had three pieces of Nigiri as an add-on. Salmon, Striped Jack and Waygu. Incredible taste on all the pieces. The fluke was perfectly cooked, a little crispness, soft and flaky and the butter sauce and capers went so well with the fish. For dessert we had black sesame cheesecake with vanilla ice cream and sweet potato underneath. It sounds odd, but I really enjoyed it because of the subtle flavors that blended so well and it wasn't super sweet. The service from Navi was excellent from beginning to end. The noodles come from a package (confirmed) and the broth tastes like it does to. Some of the dishes are decent but even as traditional Korean dishes go....still underwhelming. I've eaten Korean cuisine regularly for 24years....this place would be equivalent to the Korean food you would get if there was a Korean version of McDonald's.
