It is probably a different crew of guys working here since I was last there a few years ago but I will never go back. For one thing, I'm fairly sure they broke my tire sensor (which I was told by my mechanic would be around $400 to fix). But the worst thing about this location is how pushy they were about getting additional services. I went several times for oil changes and they ALWAYS told me that I needed other things done. Each time I'd politely thank them for informing me but that I didn't have the budget for any other services at that time. On my final visit there, the man who was working under my car yelled up that I needed to change my transmission fluid (even though I had it changed by my mechanic when my car was in the shop just two months prior) and the other guy barked back loudly "I know! I tell her that every time!" Since then I have taken my business to Valvoline on Union-Cemetery and receive great costumer service. They inform me of specials they have and tell me which services are recommended considering my mileage. And they don't shame me when I say I can't afford it. "I understand ma'am, I'm just letting you know what is recommended." They're not at all nasty like the staff at Oil Express was. read more

I work in sales and drive through the Mason area monthly. The managers have excellent people skills, are very thorough and have more than fair prices. Even when super busy they are very welcoming and work quickly. The employees are trained well and I have never had any type of complaint. Great place to stop ! read more

On a family vacation. Tail light went out. I had a lightbulb but not the appropriate tools to fix. The guys at oil exchange were closing for the night but stayed to help me change the lightbulb, and didn't even charge me. Thanks guys! Keep up the great work. My wife and I have been going to this location for many years and I can truly say they are a cut above the rest. My visit today was unplanned as we had just had our oil changed a week ago as we were headed out of town. When we rolled in they greeted us by name and inquired why we had come back so early. We explained our emergency of needing to get one of the tires pumped up as much as possible as we had run over some debris on the highway and it was very flat. They tried but the tire wasn't holding air. What blew me away was their willingness, right then and there, to hoist us up and put our donut on for us so we could make it to the tire shop safely. I wish this place was in Columbus. I know we have Valvoline Instant Oil Change which is also good quality oil but this place gets you in and out in 10 minutes. Also it is very affordable! Plus they have coupons not just on their site and in mail coupons but at the place itself. During my first visit they used one of their coupons to give me a great deal on my oil change. Talk about quality service that gets you in and out in no time! read more

I've been getting my oil changed here for years. It's pricey (although slightly mitigated by the coupons for them that can be found EVERYWHERE) but it's an efficient, good job and the guys working there are really nice. I've never had a complaint with them and I trust them with my car - something I don't take very lightly. read more

As a younger girl going to get her oil changed alone for the first time, I was worried that whatever place I went to would try to talk me into buying things I really didn't need. My brother recommended Oil Express to me, though, and I'm glad I went. All of the employees there were very friendly. I felt that they were being honest with me and they were all very helpful. The service was fast, they offer free top-offs on everything but anti-freeze and I felt comfortable asking questions. I've gone to the Oil Express in Eastgate for a long time - wonderful place. I changed job locations and found that Oil Express in Mason was convenient. I stopped in for an oil change and tire rotation, $100. When I got home I realized they didn't replace my valve stem covers on two tires. I stopped back in to pick them up and was questioned 1) Did someone steal them? 2) Did someone else take them off? 3) Are you sure they were on there when you came in? Seriously? Interrogation for two valve stem covers? They said they would order some, took my phone number but never called me back. The corporate office didn't answer my email. It's not the $2 stem covers, it's about how they treat their customers. Obviously they don't care about their customers so I don't care about using them again. read more

We had a horrible experience at Oil Express in Mason today. My daughter went in for a basic oil change with a $10 off coupon. The charge should have been $29.99. She was given a "high mileage" oil change without her knowledge and was charged $60. I contacted the store manager (Justin), and he was rude and disrespectful. Would not reimburse the difference of $30. We will never go to this location again. I highly recommend not getting any service done unless you are very clear up front of the cost. read more
