I finished work at 3:30pm, got there around 3:50pm, and left Oil Changers at 4:05pm. Luckily the person in front just finished when I got there, so it was perfect timing. Besides being quick, he also managed to fill up my tires, coolant, etc. My car felt really cared for in this short amount of time. My last oil change I received was completed on 08-18-2025. It was finally due for another oil change. I went to store Kapolei location #813 on 05/25/2025 and I was told by the staff they are unable to change my oil due to that my oil pan needed to be rethreaded ASAP. I also don't recall from my last visit that was discussed with me. I ended up speaking with the manager who advised to take my car to a mechanic to get it checked out. I ended up going to another location for the auto repair shop to diagnose the issue and was told the same exact thing. I ended up having to get my oil pan completely replaced and my oil change. I was then told by the mechanic who ever has been doing my oil caused physical damaged therefore why it needed to be replaced. Mind you my car is still new 2021 Toyota 4Runner. I'm pretty upset to the fact I had to pay $950 out of pocket to get it replaced. I've attached references of the paper work I was given of my last invoice from oil changers they provided me today since I didn't have a copy from last time... and a copy of the invoice I had to pay out of pocket for the damages. I'm pretty upset that this had to happen and now I don't think I will go back to oil changers to get my oil changed.

This is a review for the clutch replacement service I had done at Repairs Done Right a few weeks…read moreago. Needed to replace the clutch in my car, and Repairs Done Right answered the call! Sent out an inquiry through Yelp, and Billy at Repairs Done Right (RDR) was one of the first to respond. After comparing quotes from other shops and reading up on the various reviews, I opted for RDR (even though they're a little out of the way for me), since they were the most reasonably priced and had solid overall ratings. Got the car towed to their shop, and was promptly checked in by Billy and Ariel -- both were super kind and good vibes! Later that day, they sent me an e-copy of the quoted estimate to review and approve. I had questions regarding a couple of the line items listed, and Ariel was very patient and thorough in addressing my concerns, which reassured me and gave me peace of mind. During servicing, Billy reached out to inform me they had to replace the flywheel (instead of re-surfacing it, as noted in the original quote), due to the machinery and personnel needed for resurfacing being unavailable. He gave me a couple of options, and I chose to go ahead with replacing the flywheel (versus a clutch conversion?), which he said they'd do at cost. The grand total still ended up being within reason, even with the change, so no big deal. They sent me an updated cost estimate later in the day, reflecting the adjustment. I truly appreciated the transparency and clear communication throughout the whole process. I told them I could only do pickup on Saturday, and they said it's not a problem. It all worked out, since they finished the clutch replacement on Friday, and I went to pick up the car the next morning on Saturday. Can I just say, I am so grateful for them being open on a Saturday?! That is so incredibly helpful. The new clutch feels great! Mahalo to Billy, Ariel, and their team at RDR, for their help! Happy to support local independent businesses like RDR! Pros: reasonable prices, excellent communication, and friendly service Cons: not really a negative, but just something to be aware of... their lot is busy and can be a bit tight and congested at times, but that seems to be the case with most auto mechanic shops/industrial areas

My appointment was literally done in less than 10 minutes and that's with everything. safety checks are the go to here. I'm glad I found this place cause you'd probably wait half the day if you were to go somewhere else. My only gripe is that the parking can be a hassle but if you have an appointment, just flag the attendant / workers and they'll take note of the order of who's first or has an appointment. Ed! Went here for a safety check…read more I am very meticulous & careful with my vehicle so when my brake light didn't come on I was confused. Ed took the time to see why it wasn't working correctly & I had shared with him that earlier in the day I had removed my spare. He noticed the wires weren't connected properly (from the place I just left) allowed me to reconnect so I wouldn't "fail" inspection & have to take another day to come back to redo it. So grateful to Ed! I get free safety checks thru the dealership but to me it's worth paying to get in & out instead of having to drop off my vehicle for the day. Totally worth the extra low cost. My suggestion, if you're in a hurry in the morning, you're better off coming at 530am to be at the front of the line. I arrived at around 630am and I was the 5th car in line waiting. I waited till about 845am before it was my turn. So if you're thinking it'll go by quickly...it does not. So dedicating a good portion of your early morning to get your safety check done is a must. There's only one guy who's able to do the safety checks so being patient will go a long way. I believe the only days they don't do safety checks are Wednesday's and Sunday's. As long as that one uncle is in working, they're able to do it. Been going to this location for years and have no complaints about this specific service. $26 and they take both cash and card. Also please be aware of the curb in front of Hi Runner's next to Oil Changers. I seen a few people drive over it and scrape the underneath of their car lol.

I told the person helping me I would drive to Pearlridge but was weary of going to Kaneohe on my spare. I was told only 1 in stock at Pearlridge which meant it could be 0, so I asked if they could call to verify. There was a lot of hesitation, said they're probably really busy right now so not sure anyone would answer. I needed a replacement, so I ended up with a higher priced tire which was OK, but disappointed that the person helping me couldn't explain how this tire was different from the one I originally wanted. We completed the transaction, then I asked, so 1-2 hours to complete (I told him I had an online appointment when I arrived)? They laughed and said, uh more like at least 3. The tire was actually done in 1.5 hours which made me happy, but once I drove away, the low tire pressure light remained on. I went to inflate my tires and come to find the brand new tire was at 25#, the only tire below spec. What a disappointment.

I called them up and they were able to take me the same day, got it done in a few hours and were able to use my own provided parts. The shop is extremely clean and the bay looks organized, seems they work on many different makes and models. After picking up my car they didn't install the O2 sensors because I didn't need it. The guy at the front went through what the cause was and gave me some tips on preventing it and they didn't even charge me! Car is running great so far. Great service and they earned a new customer, I will be back to service my other cars here soon, highly recommend this shop.
