I enjoy coming to oil changers. On my recent visit 3-14-2026, the service was good as we were getting poured on this weekend. I appreciate the work everyone there performs. Today 3-20-2026 I just happen to need to change my headlights. When I opened my hood (first time since the service by this station) I just happened to find a small screw driver left inside my engine compartment. I wish I could attach picture. So I will describe it. It has a clip like a pen to attach to a shirt pocket blue case in the middle with COS and some refrigerator company on it also (i will not put the name because im sure they didn't out it in my engine compartment) my wiper reservoir cap was also not put back on and half full. Im not sure if this is a service included but that isn't a big deal other than my cap could have been lost or mixed in with my engine as I drove. Thank God there was zero damage done to my engine. I will continue to come here but I will pull out and stop and physically check to ensure all my engine caps are on and there is no foreign debris left to harm my engine or myself on the event an accident happens due to this. I actually will return this screwdriver when I come in for my next service months from now. I have zero bad feelings I just recommend pay more attention when and where you place things and remove them when done. read more

I needed a quick oil change. The Kapolei locat I on was RIDICULOUSLY long. This location was able to get seen in 5 minutes! Location: It is near Wendy's and Times in Kunia. Just pretend you are going to Wendy's, and you are there! Service: Oil changers makes it really easy to service your car. You drive in, tell the the service needed. They service your car then you pay and you are done! I believe it was Jason that helped us. He was really helpful and even taught me how to reset the maintenance code in my car. This location had a few customers before I was seen, but they were still able to see me quick! Price: the price was way cheaper than going to the dealership for service. I also checked in on Yelp and got a check in offer! Yay! This will start being my go to location when I need an oil change. They made it so simple and fast!! I've been to couple locations, and the technicians always had exceptional customer service.

Its so quick and easy to get my oil change done. The place I normally go to needs appts over a month in advance, but this place took walk ins which was so convenient. I had to go to another store to get an oil filter first, but otherwise they were very efficient & stayed in the car while they did the oil change. Everything took maybe 15/20min, and we were on our way. Staff is suuuuper nice, will be back next time I need an oil change on short notice! read more

Service for safety check at this location is bad, two times when we went there early and stood in line only to be told they were not doing any safety checks today. Why not put out a big sign early stating no safety checks today instead of wasting peoples time. Excellent customer service! Super busy place. I went early for a walk-in safety check a couple of weeks ago. Parked in the line and waited in my car. The technician who was doing the checks moved us up after each inspection he did and he was handling the oil change line at the same time! Each safety check took about 15 minutes. The wait can be long but that's because they have a lot of customers. The technician was friendly to all and I noticed all the workers hustling and working hard so you don't mind waiting. My adulting lately has me stretched pretty thin lately and I've usually relied on Oil Changers to have not just the oil change but my safety check one as well...it seems like the entire state does so as well it was quoted to be a 3.5hrs wait...WHAT! There was several cars parked at a decent amount of stalls that was quickly filling up and probably just had no words to say to the delightful guy who greeted me I parked and collected myself before realizing that there's no way in heck I'm waiting 3.5hrs omg! We've been coming here for a couple of years now even when they were under a different name... But I've got to say, the service has definitely been up to par! It's one thing when you have fast quality service, but it's another when the associates are friendly and get to know their customers. Came here around lunch on a Saturday trying to get my last minute safety check done (Silly me, always wait till the end of the month) Called in and they told me there were 3 cars ahead of me and that I could wait in the parking lot to be called. It took about an hour for them to get to my suv. Ed was fast, efficient and very friendly. I would definitely recommend people to come here early and get in line. Arrived at 10:00 a.m. for a State Inspection and there were three vehicles in front of me. While waiting, I noticed that some vehicles were cutting the line and when I asked what was going on, I was told that they were people who had failed the State Inspection and were returning to be reinspected. At noon, the guy who does the inspections left for his one hour lunch. In short, I did not get out of there until 2:00 p.m. To add insult to injury, the guy who performs the inspections is high strung and has a BIG ego. Will not be coming back here for a State Inspection or any other work on my car. read more

Wouldn't recommend safety check here. Got an inital inspection failed. After $1300 in repairs were completed addressing all comments from the initial inspection, The technician still failed me at the following up inspection at the following up inspection despite having a mechanics written report. Never been given so much problem with safety check. Immediately went somewhere else and had my inspection passed. Convenient location for oil change, but can get backed up. Called to ask if they could change the oil on my 1999 Mercedes 230 SKL Kompressor. She said they had the filter in stock and synthetic oil also. Got there and drove right in. Both mechanics (young rookie also watching as the pro) worked on it. Just got my car from the dock (moving back to Honolulu from Maui) and happy as hell to have these guys around. I have 2 other vehicles shipping back to Oahu and they will have all of my business moving forward. "EVERY" person working was polite and cordial, made me feel very comfortable as soon as I pulled in. Isaac welcomed me with such a positive attitude and clearly explained every detail of the service I was getting. He even offered a quick diagnostics check (which dealerships don't seem to do anymore) and gave me honest advice on what needed immediate attention and what could wait a bit longer. There was zero pressure--he didn't try to upsell me on anything! Every single employee here is in high spirits, which is a rare find these days! BE CAREFUL OIL CHANGE - If you are a woman or someone who has no idea about cars and ONLY NEED an oil change. Do not allow them to check your cabin filter, air filter, A/C, and more if all you want is an oil change. I accompanied my 22 year old niece and if I was not there, her $80.00 oil change would have been $300.00 + based on their "recommendations"... For example, them claiming her AC needed to be serviced for $119.00 when it blows cold as ice and the car is only a few years old having just arrived to Hawaii from the Bay Area where the AC was rarely used. Her air filter had been replaced by Toyota literally 5500 miles earlier but they believed it was dirty and recommended it be replaced. When he brought it to me (I was in the passenger seat) the filter looked new but he claimed their were "gaps" and grime... I am a 54 year old man who has changed my own oil, filters, and air filters at least 100 times so I have some understanding. We arrived at the right time as we drove right up (no wait). I usually see long lines for this place and I am upset knowing that they are likely scamming most (they wont say its a scam but our service experience was). The guy who helped us was professional and very cordial but as stated, he wanted to upsell for no true need. It is not ethical do this to unsuspecting people. It is not cool at all and I hope they read and feel this deeply and consider a less financial gain approach. I hope the owners or management are not demanding sell expectations on its employees to perform as if they are providing a decent service all in the name of adding more $ into the pockets of those at the top. It's really not right. Finally, they offer a free top off after so many miles after the oil change... well, most newer cars will not a need a top-off as oil does not burn like in old cars. Basically, this gives them a second and much sooner visit to upsell. Go there for ONE SERVICE and that is to change your oil and oil filter nothing more. Advise them to not check anything else unless its 100% free such as the air. Don't trust them with telling you the health of your tires either. We will go back as what is needed is the convenience of an oil change especially on the westside of Oahu as there are not many quick options and we are supporting the local economy (I hope). That's how old school Oil Changers were. I have been using them on and off since the late 80's back when it as $19.99 for oil and filter change. You pull up, get the oil change, and be on your way in 15 - 20 min. Someone got highly greedy or maybe it is investor expectations, or all the taxes they are charged for employees payroll, or workmans comp. Bottom line DON'T UPSELL or cross-sell unsuspecting people especially when they tell you, all they want is an oil and filter change. I can only wonder the costs if she needed a bulb to be replaced as they also offer a "safety inspection" during the visit by checking working lights... If the next visit is less upsell / cross-sell driven, I will happily increase the stars and update this review. read more
