Midas - Check-in area - Tires Near Me - Waipahu, Hawaii

Recently booked an oil change (which includes a tire rotation) for this place! Overall quick and easy service. Granted, I went on a week day morning. When I first entered, there was no one in the customer check in area and took a while to get greeted. But once one of the guys helped me it was a smooth and easy process. I only waited less than an hour. My car is running fine! Thank you! read more

Waipahu Mitas has always provided outstanding service to my cars (Jeep, Camaro, Minis, BMWs, Van) over the years oil changes, inspections, suspension, tires, etc. Their customer service, work standard/quality, and prices are top value. read more

Came in for oil change. But they check engine tires and filters. Gave suggestions we ended up doing it.

I went to Midas Waipahu for safety check. I came in around 7:00 am, until 9:34 still next in line. I followed up around 9:00, the lady said i am the next one. Done the safety check at 9:52. Omg, bad experience. First and last to do safety check with them. read more

Fast was in and out! For oil change. Will be coming here again! Had an appointment. East just need to call for the appointment

Called to see if an appointment was necessary to get a safety check...walk in before 1200. Traffic that day was awful as usual, made it there before 9am. Very nice and helpful ladies that work there. I checked in. Service was quick, good to go for another year! I think I would go back there again. read more

Awesome staff. I was able to come in without an appointment to get my oil and safety check. They took me right away and I was able to relax inside with free coffee. read more

Used to be good when i can just walk in and wait but they stopped doing that. So i go somewhere else now for my cars

I went in for a walk in oil change. They were fast and friendly. They don't feel too pushy, but will make suggestions to improve the longevity of your car. They walked me out and pointed out that I had very little tread on my car. Then asked if I wanted a quote to have it replaced. I definitely plan to come back here again for my car needs. read more

Great service here! Friendly staff was able to take care of my appointment even when I was running late. I called and let them know and they greeted me by name. Needed new brakes and rotors and the Assistant Manager Robert was working on my car. He took me into the service bay and explained what was going on with the issues and pointed out what I needed to replace and what I should wait on. They have a warehouse nearby so parts came quickly and I was back on the road. They have a 10% military discount so everything helps with how high prices are. Highly recommend and Robert is a man of the people! read more

The staff here are very nice, the ladies at the front were very accommodating and the techs were super fast! I had a scheduled appt for an oil change and tire rotation - I came in half an hour early with some time to kill and was ready to sit and wait but they took me in immediately was in and out by the time of my scheduled appt time. Thank you guys!!! read more

They are always honest and deliver fast, high-quality work. Over time, I've grown to trust them completely. Even though they're always busy, the front desk staff remain friendly and welcoming, and the mechanics themselves are just as kind. It's rare to find a place that combines efficiency, professionalism, and warmth so consistently. read more

Yes, I give this location 5 stars and they deserve it. I made the appointment online and received a call bright and early to finalize a time. I arrived, checked in quickly and the car was done within the hour: oil change and tire rotation. Unlike other locations this location has 3 lovely women working the counters and every bay getting cars in and out. This location is a well-oiled machine of efficiency. Will definitely coming back! read more

Made an appointment at the Waipahu shop via their website for tomorrow. Called to see if by chance they're able to service my vehicle today. Was informed by a representative, there was no opening today, which is quite understandable. I then mentioned that I made an appointment for tomorrow via their website. Rep response was their website has not been working lately, so was told the next opening would the the 31st of October. Hopefully they will fix this. Been a customer of theirs for awhile and don't understand their present approach to customer service. read more

Called to get my shocks replaced and was quoted $400 for BOTH sides. Told them I will call back to schedule an appointment. Come the next day to schedule an appointment and was quoted $450 for EACH side!!! Two totally different prices! Long story short I decided to get my shocks replaced at another shop for a much reasonable price! read more

Fast service. Oil change and tire patch done in 30 minutes super easy to make an appointment.

Located in Waipahu on Farrington Hwy, it may be a little hard to see with all the construction in the area, but It's well worth it once you find it. I drove up to have some brake service done. They took me in without an appointment and I can't say enough about the service. They inspected my car, gave me a quote and as soon as I approved, the work was quick and efficient. I was back on the road in less than an hour. The waiting room was nice, plenty of socially distant seating and a tv to keep you entertained. It was a nice organized area. Lisa and Trish provide top notch customer service. Fast, friendly, efficient. Make sure to check online for some money saving coupons. Who doesn't like saving money, right? This is a great place to take your car for service. I'm sure to come back whenever my car needs some TLC. read more

Great service and friendly people. I walked in for car maintenance and they were done in 40 min. Very professional.

Went in for safety check, After making appointment. Very prompt. In and out with in 15 minutes.

Walked in for a safety check. The desk clerks were extremely helpful and polite. The mechanic that did my safety check was speedy. I highly recommend Midas to all who don't want the hassle other safety stations give. No BS. read more

I would give 0 for ratings! Unbelievable bad customer service! I've been coming here for years to do service for my car. I always gave a 5, but yesterday I called in the afternoon to verify the day and time of my appointment and the Lady answered the phone and very unprofessional and rude! I can hear her making complain and bad comments on the phone, mind her she did not put me on HOLD!! saying "Why I did not write it down Arghhhh" and "now trying to find her name on the appointment and can't find it" . I said to her I made my appointment last month and talked to a young lady I forget her name and took my number and put me on the appointment. Still, they can't find my name! Such a BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN and WILL NOT RECOMMEND!!!! need to train people how to answer customers question in a good manner no matter how bad your day was!!!! read more

Services was great, friendly people. I had gotten my safety check done and it was less than 25 mins

It was very easy to make an appointment for safety inspection at Midas. You need to call for safety inspection appointments. You can buy a coupon ($5 off) on their website for the safety inspection. You'll need to print the receipt after paying for it and bring it with you, along with your other car documents. I'll happily get out of my car knowing I have an appointment. I was in and out within 30 minutes. Same friendly and efficient service. Thank you! read more

I am just sitting, waiting for my vehicle to get finished, observing. The owner Wayne as he interacts with his customer service team, and his personality as he interacts with his customers is to be applauded. This is what Great customer service is. Scheduled 10:30 appointment it's now 12:00 no oil change yet. I will never use this midas again, left without oil change!

I moved here from the mainland a few weeks ago. When I got my car delivered here I noticed that my car battery was acting up. Thankfully, a friend suggested Midas. I gave them a call, and they told me to come in and get a free battery check. I did a walk-in and was greeted by staff who were friendly and helpful. I was able to get my battery checked/replaced and also got my vehicle safety paperwork for the dmv and was in and out in about an hour. Will definitely be back read more

I've been going here for over 20 years and always leaving as a satisfied customer. Lately, things have gotten so pricey, and the majority of the high cost for any repair is from their labor. People are wonderful and friendly with great customer service. I go to them for almost everything from breaks, oil change, safety check, alignment, etc. Over the years, I used to take our 2 vehicles there 4-5 times a year, but now I spread them out and only visit twice a year bc off cost. I will continue to go there bc I trust their mechanics more but with fewer visits. read more

7/15/2022 @1530 Needed to get my Safety Inspection done. Came in was greeted by a very happy and energetic lady named Lisa, she told me that there would be an hour wait. She said I could wait or try call back in an hour to see how long the wait is at theat time. So I went home and called back in an hour. Lisa answered and said that it would be a good time to come in. So I returned and was able to get it done in less than 10 minutes. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. Lisa put me in a good mood with her energy. read more

MIDAS Waipahu is awesome.. I used to work there. Lito, Craig, and the other techs are a good team. You can trust them in knowing their stuff, especially the Head Mechanic Lito, hes Awesome and knows his stuff. If you ever have issues with anything, bring it to them. You can count on them( well, depending on what you want done to your vehicle). If I had another shot in going back to work for them, I would; but honestly, being a mechanic/technician isn't all what it seems, not unless you're really passionate about cars and the automotive industry, then by all means go for it. Just hope you see yourself retiring as a mechanic/technician read more

I came here after visiting another oil change spot. The OTHER spot told me it would be 2 HOURS or so to finish my oil change. I don't know about you, but my time is precious. I did not want to wait 2 hours or so. I remembered coming to Midas before, so I decided to just drive by and see what the wait was. To my surprise, they had no wait, and were done with my car in less than 30 minutes. WHOA! Talk about speedy! They asked if I wanted a tire rotation too! If you come, Just walk in! You can call, but I just drove there and got my car serviced. Overall, I paid a reasonable price and I was out in less than 30 minutes. That is a LOT better than wasting my time and twiddling my thumbs for 2 hours. My husband now comes here! read more
