They were very kind, informative, and exemplified great customer service. My oil change took less than 20min and they give me a military discount. I was charged, he confirmed my email, said a receipt was sent by email, and said I was all set. I asked for my key, which was set down with papers, on the opposite side of the counter where they were charging me. Mind it is a wide counter like they all have, plenty of room to put it in front of me. I asked for my key he said it's right there, points, and I left. Terrible customer service and I can understand why the rating is low, unfortunately I didnt check that before going. I trust Firestone but bad customer does not encourage customers to return. I spoke to one mechanic for a quote, he quoted me $1700 for parts and labor. I hold off on the services because of the price. When I asked again 3 months later, I was quoted $2100 this time by a different mechanic. But he explained how I had to replace the water pump if doing this particular service; I waited again. I waited again a couple more weeks. When I asked again, I asked yet a different mechanic. He quoted me $2400, but he didn't explained why such a high cost even though I asked what all and all will be done for the services. So I do not recommend this place for complicated services.

We pulled in and in just a short time a young lady came out and got us signed in. We went and waited in their waiting area. A young man let us know oil was clean, etc. it was not necessary to change the oil. They probably changed at the dealer.They may not have changed the settings, etc. I was very happy with the honesty. Boy, a place this honest Is hard to find. If you need an oil change... I'd go there. I'm very happy with them. They were so friendly and kind. As a side note, after I left, I went next door to wash my car. He texted me that I had left my water jug there. I was able to just walk over and pick it up. I went in to get an oil change and tire rotation. Amazingly there was no wait before they took my…read morecar on Saturday afternoon. They don't make any appointments, so it's first come first served. After intake--phone #, name, address, and what you want to get done--you'll leave your car with your tech and wait. It must've been about 40 minutes before I received a phone call that my car was ready. That's the only reason for 4 stars. My tech informed me they were unable to rotate my tires due to the fact that my front tires didn't have enough tread left on them. That was a good information since I will have to purchase new tires very soon. I thought that was a good customer service instead of went ahead and completed the job unnecessarily. Oil change ranges from basic for $29.88 to full synthetic for $45.88. There's one in the middle for $35.88. My tech recommended either the basic or the full synthetic. Since my car does not require full synthetic oil, I opted to go with the basic. Tire rotation is $2.50 per tire--I thought it was interesting since no one gets only one tire rotated, right? Shop opens at 7:00 am Mon--Sat, and at 8:00 am on Sunday.

He hooks my car…read moreup to an air conditioner diagnostic machine and starts messing with the fuse box for some reason. The car will no longer start. I wait for an hour while they try and fix their mistake. During this time I go to throw something away in the garage trash can and its full of empty bud light tall boys. The guy then tells me to go home and they'll call me when its started again. I asked him for his phone number and he gives me a bogus one that goes straight to voice mail. When I go back later in the day he tells me they need to reprogram my computer for some reason. Let me be clear, I have NEVER had electrical problems with my car in the 5 years that I've owned it. He tells me he'll have his locksmith look at it in the morning. I tell him about the bogus number and he just blows me off and tells me Ill have to go in person. The next day I go down there and he tells me that my car computer is broken and its not his fault cause he checked the camera and that for some reason this proves that his mechanics had nothing to do with it, even though I clearly saw them open the fuse box multiple times. There is no camera system on the premise, this guy was telling me a lie. He tells me i'll have to pay him, I tell him no and have my car towed to an actual mechanic. Now I'm stuck with a bill for their mistake. I urge anyone not to come here, there's a million legitimate mechanics on Dyer. The young heavy set guy won't even look you in the eyes when he talks to you cause he knows he runs his business in shady and illegitimate ways.
