I recently did a 60 min massage and it was one of the best ones I have had. Janine was great in communication and checked in during the massage to make sure I was receiving my desired pressure levels. Janine's space is nice and cozy with an amazing view of Lake Washington. I definitely would recommend giving Janine a try as you will leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and relaxed. Five out Five Stars! Can't wait to schedule my next one! read more

I chose to do a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Janine and it was awesome! I liked that she instructed me to "breathe" with her work (I would breathe in when she removed the pressure with her hands and breathe out when she pressed down). I had a weird "hitch" in my shoulder and her attention to that issue made my range of motion so much better. She did something with smooth stones on either side of my spine (after she worked on me that relaxed my muscles even more) - just wonderful. I think what I liked the most is that she is a true therapeutic professional...my time was not shortchanged and I never felt rushed or awkward. read more

I just got done with one of the best massages I have ever had in my life, and felt compelled to immediately share the magic that Janine possesses in her thoughtful technique. Her space is also lovely, intimate and comfortable, with beautiful views of Lake Washington. I requested a 90-minute hot stone massage and she briefly reviewed my history and sore spots before we got started. She played great music and her dialogue and check points were perfectly placed. The massage itself, was a little slice of heaven. As others noted, she prompts you to breathe at certain points as she applies pressure, which I loved. I walked out a new person and couldn't wait to share my experience with the world. Janine, is genuine and warm, and feels like an immediate friend. I can't wait to return and I'm so grateful I found her. read more

She is very talented. Can't wait to go back for my second appointment! Massage is so personal, but for me it was the right amount of pressure and right type of technique! read more

I have to say that the massage I got yesterday was probably the best I have ever had. Janine is very intuitive and seems to know exactly what is needed. I felt so comfortable and relaxed with her. I soaked in Epsom Salts last night as she recommended and I feel great today. I am definitely getting on a regular program of massages with her! read more

I had my first massage after covid and it was fantastic!!! I will be a regular with Janine from now on. She checked in with me about pressure and spots where I wanted special attention. I've already made another appointment. read more

To review or not to review Janine, that is the question. Why wouldn't I want to review Janine? Because I don't want everyone to find out about the best masseuse in Seattle and book her for 6 months straight! I've been fortunate to experience many different massage styles and techniques, but I always go back to Janine! I come in feeling like a train-wreck and leave feeling on top of the world. Her full body massages leave everything from your head to your toes feeling relaxed. On top of her superior massage skill, Janine is fun, relaxed, and professional! I can't wait until my next massage! read more

Janine is fan-freakin'-tastic. The room is impeccably clean, the music soothing, the massage therapeutic and relaxing. Janine did an excellent job of checking in with me (too hard? too gentle?) and answered my questions knowledgeably and with helpful post-massage advice. I work in a studio where I'm constantly hunched over a workbench, tense and over-taxing one side of my back. When I told Janine this, she made sure to ask which specific areas of my back were most knotted up and to pay extra attention to those muscles. I'm definitely not going to waste time and money pursuing the Perfect Massage anymore - I found it! read more

Janine gave me literally the best deep-tissue massage I have ever had. She worked on me at Breitenbush Hot Springs, where she practices when she's not practicing in Portland. Janine's technique involves using her feet as much (or more than) her hands, at least for my massage. I immediately noticed how well she uses the heel and arch of her foot as a massage tool, with her heel (and sometimes big toe, I think) very effective for acupressure/shiatsu points. She seemed to use her feet the most on the backs of my legs and all over my back; every single sore spot got what it needed. In addition to her great technique, Janine is warm, kind and friendly, both compassionate and full of gentle humor. We chatted a bit during the massage (it was 90 minutes), and I enjoyed the give-and-take. It felt intimate in safe, healthy and caring way. The environment for the massage was perfect. Janine had lovely music playing, very soft, and the oils she uses feel luxurious and smell nice, though not at all strong. The linens felt crisp and fresh, and I enjoyed the way she carefully folded them back or over me to keep me warm and modest during the massage. It was in the hours after the massage, and the next day, that I really felt the lasting effects. I felt light and grounded, quiet and energized, all at the same time. What a wonderful experience. read more

Getting a massage from Janine is a better treat than cupcakes, ice cream, and cookies combined! Not only does she remember my name and things about me when I walk in the door, she cares. Janine is very professional and incredibly skilled. I feel completely relaxed and comfortable when she is working on my muscles and knots. I also appreciate that I never feel rushed and able to enjoy the whole time from start to end. Parking is easy and the location is great. The office and room are very well organized, and very clean. When the muscles get tight, the tight get going to Janine! read more

Janine Ragucci has a gift to heal through massage. She is very intuitive and understands the mechanisms of pain and injury. She takes time to listen and then finds the exact area of pain and uses techniques to release the muscle tension and it feels amazing. Her massage provides me with pain relief from chronic neck and shoulder issues. Janine is also just a fun person to talk to and has a beautiful personality! I highly recommend visiting Janine for a massage. read more

Janine is amazing. She applies just the right amount of pressure and knows how to completely relax you! Not only that, but actually knows and understands the muscles in your body so she gives great advice on how to take care of your muscles too. I would recommend her anytime. read more

Janine is amaaazing! Do yourself the great honor of going in to see her for a massage. Not only did I leave feeling much better in my own body, I also totally enjoyed talking with her- she's hilarious and so fun to talk to that I forgot I was an introvert for the 90 minute session! read more

Janine is very good at what she does. She's fun and easy to talk to and incredibly good with pressure! Best massage I've ever had.

Janine is excellent! Warm and friendly, makes you feel at ease. I highly recommend her. Great service, great price.

Janine is, hands down, my favorite massage therapist of all time....and honey, I've tried them all. I've been seeing Janine for several years, and her range of techniques are exactly what I need - every time I leave, I feel like a whole new person. To me, one of the things that sets Janine apart from other Seattle massage therapists is she studied in New York; the state of New York requires significantly more hours/credits than Washington, and she is a superior massage therapist in both breadth of knowledge and skill. The second thing that makes her so great is she actually, genuinely cares about her clients, and that makes a huge difference. I'm not just another client - she cares about me, she puts me at ease, she genuinely wants me to feel better. Book an appointment with her now - you'll love it! read more

Do not come here. I repeat do not come here. The interior may be nice and the masseuse may be friendly but the massage definitely suck. She just moves her hands and pretend they are massaging. I asked to make it harder, what she did was just press and press. I dont know what shes doing at all. New to Yelp and want to share my opinion. Hope to help others in the future. read more

I've had many pro massages. J @ Ohm BodyWorks was one of the best. A sophisticated weave of styles, her work is deeply felt. Both relaxing and healing - I felt she sensed into what was needed in my body and delivered. She's a bright spirit. The space is artfully brilliant. I highly recommend. read more

A huge shout out to how relaxed and professional Janine is. Although I just met her today, I felt like I'd known her for years. Her space is CLEAN, soothing, and very feng shui (its located inside Lila Yoga Studio - which is awesome too). Her knowledge of the body is very exciting for someone like me who needs a lot of deep tissue release due to biking, yoga, and standing for long periods. She's very efficient with your allotted time and I really appreciate that. I WILL absolutely recommend her to others...and I'll be back for 2 more massage via her killer Groupon deal...thanks again Janine, now go rest those hands :) read more

Janine is awesome! She always knows the right pressure to use and finds all the knots. After a massage with her, my back and shoulders feel like all the kinks were worked out and I can stand just a little taller. Definitely recommend! read more

Janine is an excellent massage therapist. I've been really happy with her work. Her style of massage is a little different than many of the Seattle massage therpists, in that she was trained on the East coast, which I find to be a nice change! I've seen about eight massage therapists in Seattle, and for me she is one of the best. I would strongly recommend her. read more

Janine is friendly, listened to my concerns, and did just what I needed. She is a great massage practitioner. Highly recommended!

I always recommend Janine at OhmBodyWork to friends. I've given gift certificates for special occasions (relief for sore muscles at a housewarming!) as well. She practices a variety of styles, so you have plenty of options. The studio is in a tranquil little courtyard in Madison Valley. It's convenient to many neighborhoods when you need a break in a busy week. There are also plenty of delightful restaurants, parks and shops nearby to extend your relaxation when you just don't want to go back to real life. read more
