When I lost one of my favorite earrings, a pair in chrome tourmaline that was originally made by Pam, she found a matching stone and made me another one to replace the one I'd lost--the one and only earring I've lost in more than 50 years! I had already waited 2 months for the ring and did not want to wait another 2 months or more. So I would say the service is poor and she doesn't honor her work.

You can find some nice presents. A staff member will always help you find something. The prices are not bad on some items. Older issues of High Times are half off. They have plenty of incense so be sure to grab some of that. I will find something cool here every time. It's a nice selection for a town like this. You will find something for someone or yourself.

The jewelry is gorgeous and as someone who is a huge fan of gemstones the selection is truly impressive. They beautiful statues varying from wolves, Buddha's, mermaids, witches, foxes, and even cats. There tons of different candles, as well as options for burning sage. They also have a lot of great information on how to properly smudge. There was a line out the door and due to social distancing guidelines they are limiting the amount of people allowed in at a time which was much appreciated. It was also well worth the wait! Paid $500.00 for a silver/amethyst braclet at Jennifer's Touch Jewelry in Yellow Springs, Ohio on Sunday, 9/8/24. After we paid for it, she suggested that she take out a link to make it slightly smaller, looked big to her. I said, ok... then she said, she would have to keep it and take it to her shop to fix it. She told us she'd have it ready next week on Friday 9/13. I felt weird about paying for something and leaving it... I took a photo of it and she gave us a reciept for it. After we went home, my husband looked up reviews online and saw she had scammed people of their money and jewelry many times before. One of the reviews said, the jewelry was not even real as she claimed. I called her the next week and she said, she had a wedding party to do jewelry for and she did not get to mine yet. She told me it would be ready the following week. So, on Sunday, 9/15 I called her I wanted to give her plenty of time ahead and told her my husband would be close to Yellow Springs on a business trip and he could pick it up on Friday, 9/20. She said, that would be fine she could get it done by then, pick up anytime after 1pm that day. So, on Friday 9/20, he stopped by after between 1-4pm and she was there. She fumbled around like she was looking for it and then told my husband it must be back at her shop. She acted like she did not know he was stopping by or like she did not even remember what the item was. She told him, she would call us when it was done. We did not hear from her at all for another week... So, at this point we felt like she was scamming us and we did not want to deal with her... and the jewelry was probably overpriced and not real anyway. So, we put in a claim on our credit card on 10/1. It was too much to keep driving 2 hours to go up there for her to say it was not done again. She finally, decided to call us 10/4, after my husband put a dispute claim in with our credit card company. Now, she left a message for my husband saying it was ready and it's $36.00 to pick it up. She never told us there would be a charge for taking the link out, when she was the one that suggested it. I was ok, the way it was when I purchased it. Plus, she kind of led us to believe she could do it right there.. then told us she had to take it to her shop and leave it with her. Never got the bracelet but, finally got money back from our dispute on our credit card.

Since then, I had a few more opportunities working with him, as well as referring him to my friends for their jewelry need. We only heard all good things about Mr. Nguyen, including some difficult fixes or custom designs and they were all happy with the result. One mentioned because he is the only jewelry technician with a Master's degree in his field in this state of Ohio, so nothing is much challenging to him, to be trusted with the most important and valuable items from the customers, not to mention he has invested in some special laser devices that not many stores have, which made things perfectly cut and customized.
