UNDER NEW OWNERS. Went in to get SNS manicure on April 28th. Within days, the top coat was peeling off. I went back on May 5th and they fixed for free BUT, they are already starting to peel again. And they brushed it off saying it happens, but it never happened before, not once. The wife is okay, but the husband is very unprofessional - complaining about bills and the previous staff. Yes, they were a little slower, but obviously they cared more about quality. I'm sad. This was my place, but not any more. read more

Also, the quality of my manicure is outstanding. The shape and cut of my nails are exact for each nail. It is so pleasing to see each nail match, with a square shape and rounded corners. I can tell they have a lot of regular customers by the way I see them know most of the people that walk through the door for their appointments. They're also accommodating with walk ins as well. Do not waste your time. Shellac Manicure/Pedicure on Saturday, one nail chipped on Sunday and by Monday three fingers chipped. The you girl that did my nails was nice, but so slow and sloppy. She did a horrible job on my cuticles. I explained to her how I like them trimmed and she told me she doesn't like to do it that way. Another client came in while I was getting work done and said she had a fill last week and one hand had all broken. They made her wait over 30minutes for the guy who apparently did her nails to return from lunch. Meanwhile, an older woman with scars on her face watched videos while another tech just sat in a chair. I'm not sure why they didn't help that woman, but after I had threee nails chip in two days, I'm thinking they are using cheap, watered down products. Pretty bad experience for my first time, when I came in for a pedicure last week. They tried to up charge me for a mani pedi. I asked a technician and he told me $35 , then at the same time a woman came behind him stating that it was $50. I'm not sure why there was confusion about pricing but it looks very sketchy when someone says something in confidence then someone butts in stating the opposite. Especially because I think they knew that I was a new customer. The irony of it all is that on this app, they have a special for new customers. I chose Ohio Nails for the products they carried (OPI), their location and the prices of their services. I had two gel polish changes during the month, plus I treated my granddaughter to a manicure for her 8th grade graduation. I was pleased with all aspects of the services offered at Ohio Nails. Linh changed my polish both times. Although some reviews said the salon was not clean, I did not notice anything of the sort or I would not gave returned. So today I had a pedicure at a local place in Blue Ash called "Ohio Nails". Worst pedicure and customer service I have ever received. The lady rushed quickly, when I went to dry I realized the bottom of my feet were still black and rough. (The reason I went to get a pedicure in the first place) so I asked for it be fixed lady came back with an attitude and smoothed out the bottom a little more. While waiting on my friend to dry ( who has now broken out in a rash afterwards) I received dirty looks and whispers. We then left and when I got home took the pictures below of my feet as considered finished product. I decided to call and speak to maybe an owner or manager to talk about how unhappy I was today with my service. She was very rude and unprofessional and practically laughed at the fact I was calling. I told her that the customer service received was unexceptional and I would report to the better business bureau on how disrespected I was feeling I was being treated. Well again upset and venting to friends about this experience how mad I felt that I just practically threw my money away and my friends reviewed their Facebook page and gave them a bad review. The comments after their review has me in shock of how poorly this business can treat someone! They have now not only disrespected me but are now disrespecting my friends as well and stocking profiles! I am in shock about all this and can't believe this is getting this out of hand! I had an appointment today with a requested technician. The technician was working on another client, my appointment and request were not acknowledged. The owner started my services, she was very unfriendly. She also left me sitting numerous times to attend the front desk and retrieve items needed for my services. She then passed me off to another technician to finish my services. I have been to this salon numerous times because it is convenient to work, it has never been a great experience. I really love this place- I only get shellac/gel pedicures so that's all I can speak to. They are consistently thorough and and my pedicures always last for weeks. I like that it's a bit of a smaller place--it's more relaxing to me than the huge mass places around.
