I'm 74 PTSD combat veteran my own business for 40 years successfully Akron professional photographer. I know how to run a business. So far now for three weeks I've been back-and-forth VA where I'm greeted by a whole flock of gray old ladies that know nothing... Every time I've gone back, they give me a new form or a new paper. I've got to have. They're never articulate enough to sit down and go. Here's what you need, sir ABCD no they just give me a paper then the next time I oh well you gotta have another paper so go down and do this paper go across the street and get your VIN down here and get but they never tell me upfront. My patience is very thin. I refused to go here again. Thank God, I found the Stow Ohio BMV, 15 minutes. It took me to get everything clarified.

Went and got the e-check on the car done at Van's, then headed to Ravenna on a Saturday morning for the Vin check/title/registration. We waited with a number so we could get someone to read the VIN, then they sent us across the street for the Title transfer (Florida to Ohio), then we went back and got right up to the counter with the paperwork. Excellent! I think we were there a total of an hour, maybe 70 minutes. The second time, I decided to be even smarter. I went and got the e-check done on the truck, then I took it to the Streetsboro BMV to do the VIN check, since it's minutes from me. Done and done. Headed down to the BMV on Saturday morning with the stuff for our Driver's Licenses and to register the truck. We go to the title agency to transfer, and guess what? The VIN is wrong. There's a 7 where there should be a Z. OMG. So we went back over to the BMV, took our eyes tests and waited for our driver's licenses. Another seventy-five minutes of our time. Third time around. I go back to Streetsboro - get the VIN redone. DOUBLE CHECKED IT. Went home. TRIPLE CHECKED IT. Went the next Saturday back down to Ravenna. Title goes through. Whew. Back over to the BMV to wait. Literally the longest wait time I've had at a BMV since, well, Florida when we had to sit there for 4 hours. We were probably waiting a good 90 minutes plus just to get someone to call our number. It was a nut house. But finally, we have 2 licenses and 2 cars retitled and reregistered in Ohio. Now, the adult son is moving back from NJ and I guess we'll be going down there all over again for him. Double check everything! And be prepared for a wait. On the plus side, the people watching is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! ;)

I went to her office thinking I had all the necessary papers, and then discovered I was missing the title. While I searched for it in the glove box (spoiler: it wasn't in there), she went to my former state's DMV site and started filling out the request for a duplicate title "just in case." She printed it out for me and gave me excellent advice on what to do while I was waiting to get the duplicate titled mailed to me. Her excellent service continued when I was finally able to return with all the needed documents in hand, plus the cash payment. For all PennDOT transactions, it's cash only. She even lent me a screwdriver to put my PA plate on the car immediately. As Notary Now Plus is a one-person operation, you may need to wait. There is a small waiting area, with no TV or Muzak blaring. Soft drinks are available at a reasonable price; she also stocks envelopes of various sizes, which is a thoughtful touch and again, very reasonably priced. Barbara's very professional and also empathetic. I was actually looking forward to my second trip, to complete the transaction. Compared to other estimates I received for the service, her fee is very reasonable, and her exceptional customer service adds even more value. I can't imagine any other business outdoing Notary Now Plus for service and value.

It was a smooth and efficient process to get my car title especially for a Saturday morning when businesses like the DMV tend to be busy but this isn't the DMV. I brought in my car title document which was mailed to me by my car company. The title office then stamped it with "Lien Canceled" with a Court seal and that was it. I believe I had to show a form of ID too so I showed my driver's license. I have no complaints. When I entered around 10:15am, there was a couple ahead of me and it wasn't busy at all. I recommend the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Office, Auto Title Division for your car title needs. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 49/150 total reviews in 2024 - 699 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 July 2024

I didn't catch the ladies name but she was very friendly and extremely helpful. My first thought when when the BMV told me I needed to go here was omg it's gonna take forever and will be some long drawn out process. I was in and out within 10 minutes with an Ohio title in hand. This is definitely nothing like I'm used to. In California anything to do with your car takes forever. I recommend this office as it was easy and painless to get stuff taken care of.
