As a young woman who knows next to nothing about cars, walking into an auto shop can be really…read moreintimidating--but Parma Autoworks has completely changed that for me. My dad has been going there for years, and now I can absolutely see why. They make you feel comfortable, respected, and never talked down to. They're honest, kind, and genuinely care about making sure you're safe and taken care of--and all at prices that won't make you panic. Every time I've come in with little asks or questions, they help me without hesitation--and that blows my mind every time because of the stereotype of being a woman in a car shop. It might seem small, but for someone with bad anxiety from past car experiences, that kind of consistency and kindness is everything. I finally feel like I have a place I can go on my own when my dad or boyfriend aren't available, and that kind of trust is rare. Parma Autoworks is truly a gem, and as long as I live in the area, they'll be my go-to.

Dropped the car off told them the problems and mentioned, when braking, the car pulled a little to the left. Later they called with a diagnostic fee which seemed a little high but wanted it fixed. Someone called back the next day told me they had changed the oil and recharged the air conditioning and found leaks at both Schrader valves which they replaced (part of the diagnostic fee I imagine) and I needed $2000 worth of brake work, (front pads and rotors, rear shoes and drums, front calipers, BG brake system service). My response was, "that is a third of what the car was worth, put it back together and the car will be picked up. A total of $2875.81 of work and parts were declined by me. " Just to be on the safe side, two weeks later the same vehicle was taken to another auto repair shop to have the brakes checked, their receipt says "Inspect brakes, approximately 50% -OK". The brakes are working fine. There is probably a large gap as to what is needed for vehicle repairs and what the manufacturers suggests and how much money you have.
