Rodger was extremely loud, rude and insulting. I went there to get my A.C checked and he said they could not find the fuse for the ac. As soon as I took it home I opened up my manual and saw it was right beside the engine battery in plain sight. After calling back to the shop, he said I could bring it back so they could finish diagnosing it by running dye through the system, but I chose not to take it to them again because of how he was yelling at me and insulting the age of my vehicle while i was at his shop. As a woman it made me extremely uncomfortable (another customer was in the waiting area and commented on how he was talking to me). To make things worse he started guessing what I should fix in order to get the ac working, and said that my fan wasn't working, I later found out my fan was working so again all because he couldn't find a fuse to properly diagnose it and maybe because they were embarrassed they couldn't find it, rodger chose to insult my car and yell at me out of his own frustration while i was standing there extremely uncomfortable and shocked at his temper and tone. I tried to talk as nice and kind as possible to calm him down but it was not working, he was over reacting to simple questions I had and he allowed his ego and pride get the best of him. A few weeks later i called there shop because it was bothering me how he treated me and he did not apologize or refund my card for not performing services due to the lack of expertise with finding something as simple as a fuse! I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone because of how rude and insulting the owner is. read more

They do not have at all good mechanics. I went to do my brakes pads and calipers on 3 different occasions within 1 year and they do not do at all quality work. The owner is the only good quality mechanic there but just oversees the other mechanics who do really shoddy work on my car. They do not honor warranties when something is done from them in a short period of time. They just take your money and when something breaks down again they ask for more on the same work that they did. I will not and never again go to them. I went to another well known auto repair shop and they treated me well gave me a fair price and did quality outstanding work on my car that Parma Autoworks was supposed to do on 3 separate occasions. I'm writing this review to promote a local business in Parma that I have frequented several times in my 31-year tenure in Parma. I've watched this business grow and prosper from a small corner Pennzoil station to the terrific repair shop that is Autoworks. Back in the Pennzoil days, they used to sell gasoline and they did some auto repair work. A man named Sam Maletti owned the land and the buildings on this street corner, the corner of Wilber Avenue and Ridge Road - my street corner. Thinking back, I used to ride my bike up and down the street and I would turn around in the Pennzoil gasoline station's lot. Unfortunately for them, they had two of those compressed air rubber hoses that would ring a bell inside the station each time a vehicle (or an annoying menace of a kid on a bike) would drive over them. This ring would inform the gas station attendant that a customer was in the lot and required service. I must have ridden my bike over the rubber hose 100 times. And I didn't just ride over it, I would pop a small wheelie and SLAM my front tire on the hose, just so I could here the distant DING inside the station. By the way, this worked after hours as well. What fun! At some point, a man named Tim Carl purchased the Pennzoil station, tore it down and built Autoworks. He also bought the row of buildings adjacent to Autoworks along Ridge Rd, which includes North Coast Nostalgia. Soon after, I became friends with Tim and soon after that, I bought my first car. Well, wouldn't ya know it, my first car had the wrong alternator on it. After the loser I purchased it from had 'his guy' replace the alternator with another wrong alternator, and I experienced another broken alternator belt and dead battery, I turned to my new buddy Tim. Tim said, "Rodney, this car has the wrong alternator on it. It's going to cost you $400 dollars, but I can guarantee you, we'll fix it right and it will run like new." Well, old Tim wasn't lying. I paid the man and he fixed my car and it ran fine for years. He earned my trust. He's my go-to guy when I need car repairs or a quick vehicle inspection. They're not cheap, but they get the work done right the first time. Recommend. read more
