On October 4 I visited Store #5738 Newport, KY - 61 Carothers Rd and made an appointment to have a…read moremirror removed replaced on October 15. At that time I explained that an uninsured driver had hit the mirror and that I was pursuing compensation from the driver. The person I spoke to told me that because the trim piece for the mirror was undamaged they would be able to use it on the new mirror. Based upon this information I sent Firestone's quote to the driver who damaged the mirror and received payment in the amount of the quote. When I dropped the car off in the morning of the 15th I learned that the part had not been delivered but I was told that it should be there later in the day. I left my car at the store for several hours before receiving a call alerting me to the fact that part wouldn't be delivered that day, but that they would call me when the part arrived in order to make another appointment. My belief is that the part had not been ordered until the 15. On the 17th I received a call alerting me that the part had arrived, and I made an appointment for Saturday the 18th at 10:00 a.m. I dropped my car off on the 18th at 10:00 a.m. I did not receive a call to pick up my car on Saturday or Sunday morning, so at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday I called the store and learned that my car was ready to be picked up. When I arrived at the store I discovered that a snap for the trim piece from the old mirror had been broken and so the trim piece had not been installed. I now either have to live with the mirror lacking the trim piece or pay out of my own pocket to have the matching trim piece installed. I won't return to Firestone Complete Auto Care.

When my AC recharge did not work the first time due to an underlying issue discovered later, they also did not charge for the failed AC recharge. They never act hurried or impatient, and when an issue arises on their end, they are apologetic and strive to make things right. I get there and he tells me I have 1 that's about to pop which I already knew and one they is going bad. For 2 tires put on while I sit in the car, and disposal is 110. That's reasonable considering I was quoted 150 sosomewhere else for one. It's been about 40 minutes and they're almost done. I'd recommend in the future. My only issue is the lot is so full of cars it gives me anxiety pulling in and out since I'm a new driver.
