She requested cash and stated I'd pay for taxes as well. A couple seconds later, she bumped pricing up to $80. I said no, I'm not paying $80 to alter a skirt. Then, she said $60 to alter the skirt. I said no, I'm good. She then lowered the price to $50 again. I would've paid the $50 to rush the skirt, but I was disappointed that she was price gauging me. A quest that frankly can be an expensive and anxious one by entrusting total strangers with literally cutting up your clothes. After Yelping and Googling high and low, I'm so glad to have found DJ. Nothing against those businesses that do alterations along with dry cleaning but I'm glad I've found an experienced TAILOR who truly takes pride in their work! DJ himself was a very professional tailor throughout my whole experience. Immediately from responding to my questions, appointment requests, all the way to the very end leaving me with professionally fitted clothes! During fitting, DJ was very professional by taking his time with measurements, throwing in bits of recommendations while still encouraging your requests. Unlike past experiences I've had with alteration shops where they have you raise an arm and leg or two then send you out the door faster than you came in (how comforting yes?).
