You can tell it's a popular spot, but we didn't have to wait long for our food at all, which was a nice surprise. My husband got the Smash burger with hot chips and he loved it. Everything came out fresh and hot. The inside is super cozy with really cute decor and a comfortable seating area, plus a fireplace that adds such a nice touch. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience I had at Oh Sugar yesterday. If you know anything about the Eden area then you know this building hasn't been able to keep a restaurant. But I definitely think Oh Sugar could be a game changer for this location! I ordered the smash burger with chili cheese fries and the biscoff ice cream for dessert. The burger was great - and I'm a picky burger eater. Idk if I'd exactly call it a smash burger but it was juicy and well seasoned. It may have been SLIGHTLY overcooked but overall super well done. The chili cheese fries were a bit of a miss. The fries were a little cold and soggy from the nacho cheese and watery chili. I'd probably not order them again. The biscoff icecream is everything I ever wanted in a dessert. And they have tons of different flavors you can choose from. Definitely a highlight of the meal. The staff was super nice and accommodating, we wanted for nothing. For Eden, I'll definitely be making this a regular stop when we are in town. I was finally able to visit Oh Sugar on a recent visit to Eden. Many people told me it was a good addition to the town and I agree. The food was good overall. My group got a variety of items, burgers, pizza/flat bread, buffalo chicken wraps, and waffles. Everyone was pleased with the entrees. I had the smash burger which was well cooked. Very tasty. The salad was a basic spring mix with tomato and feta. The Juicy Lucy was order by a couple of people in the group and they really liked it. The BLT was heavy on the L and light on the B but still tasty. If I go back, I'll stick with the burger or a wrap. The ice cream was ok, pretty standard and good for options in the area. Wasnt really pleased with the strawberry ice cream as the strawberries tasted freezer burned. The cheesecake ice cream was good though. read more

UPDATED ADDITIONAL REVIEW I visited Oh! Sugar! again after a long absence. New items have been added to the menu, so there is more variety. I ordered the "Juicy Lucy" burger, with a side salad. There were three in my party. Our food did not come out together. One plate came out, then five or more minutes before the second one came out, and another long pause before the final dish came out. Needless to say, the first order had fries... and wanting to be polite and wait for everyone to get their food before eating... they were cold! One can not request that the burger be cooked a certain way. My burger came well done, and even though the menu states it's 8 ounces, I can safely say it was no more than half that. Not any larger than a quarter pounder! The restaurant had a good number of patrons. I will visit again but will not order a burger! I would also like to see them add additional dressing choices. The food is truly lovely I've come here a few times and will keep coming back because I truly enjoy the food. The only issue I have is there is a young lady that works the front register with a very bad attitude and the last 3 times I've been here she has given me and my partner the rudest service. I let it go the first two times because they were rush periods but the interactions she had with other customers was very different than how she treated me.
