Came here because it was close to where I was staying and after traveling it was nice to sit and eat. There were lots of tables and was like other Ruby Tuesday's I've been to. My waitress was very patient and helpful. She took my order and checked in on me periodically. I just order a steak and loaded potato. Went to the Eden restaurant yesterday. Mid. Average at best. I would have to rate the overall experience average. They waited on me, food came out quick, but service was mid overall. I was in town for the night and needed a meal option I could grab easily and take to my hotel...the woman who answered the phone was very kind and helpful...and that is where my 1 star should be applied...to her! I ordered a cheesy pasta and asked for extra sauce, it had ok flavor but it was almost like they added water to the sauce to stretch it...not ok! I ordered the spinach artichoke dip and not only was the container LESS than half full, but it was lukewarm too boot. And the chips that accompany the dip...let's just say only a few were even edible! They were dripping grease and nasty!! I also ordered cheesecake with EXTRA strawberries because...why not?? The only downside we have ever experienced at this Ruby Tuesday is that they are ALWAYS short staffed. The staff that is working has always been super friendly with our family, even the babies and kids. But even with a half empty restaurant we've had to wait almost 2 hours before for a table four our family of 6. The menu has changed some recently and they've taken some favorites of ours off, but they have been understanding about what we like and help us to adjust the new menu to be similar to what we would order before. read more

The salad bar was not as I remembered years ago as it had a lot of missing vegetables and items. Paying the waitress via a device as she stares at you on tip expectation is ridiculously stupid. Great Experience!!!! My family had been to the Race on Sunday and we decided to stop in for dinner. We have not always had good experiences here but inwas like let's try one more time. Normally we see managers sitting around not helping and everyone else struggling. Not tonight! There was a new manager that I had not seen before she was great.. Serving food and drinks, talking ro guest cleaning tables, at one point she was wrapping silverware. This was such a pleasent visit and they were so busy and only had 3 servers that we saw. Ruby Tuesday's has been a favorite of mine for years. Sad to say they're fading away. They've all disappeared near my home in Anderson SC. Regarding my most recent visit to Ruby Tuesday's in Eden NC, my overall dining experience was fine but I saw a few things that concerned me. The cook was top notch. My Hickory Bourbon Salmon was on par with my high expectations of perfection. Our server "Lisa G" seemed to be covering the bar and the whole restaurant. She was running here and there fixing drinks, taking orders, serving food, refilling drinks, directing others, handling payments with portable card reader. Several employees seem to spend a lot of time standing around. One employee kept going out to parking lot. Not sure what he was doing out there. He wasn't carrying food out. Along with my Salmon, i had coffee and I added the salad bar. The coffee was great but the salad bar was in bad shape. Many empty and almost empty containers and all the greens were wilted. I managed to get a small salad of ok ingredients. I pointed out that whoever was maintaining the salad bar should check on it. Over the next 45 minutes I kept an eye on the salad bar. I saw approximately 25 to 30 customers picking at the scraps to make a salad. No employee ever even glanced at the salad bar while I was there so I didn't get any more. I walked up to the bar to Lisa and the employee I'd seen going outside a lot ( from his appearance I figured he was the dishwasher ). I said to them, "do you not have a manager here tonight?" The scruffy dishwasher guy said " I'm the manager ". I told him "the salad bar was in bad shape and has been the whole time I've been here". He said they are short handed and he was getting ready to put someone on it. I said " no employee has even looked at it since I've been here. I told him " it's your responsibility ". I didn't ask him his name, why he spent so much time in the parking lot, or why he looked like a dishwasher instead of a manager. I figured out that there was no point saying anything else. He's not really a manager. I was ok. My entre was perfect, coffee was very good, and I got by with the scraps I got from the salad bar. Lisa took great care of us. She was efficient and cheerful. I hated seeing her have to work so hard. Usually the bar tender only serves tables close to the bar but she was serving people throughout the restaurant. I'm concerned about the 25+ people I observed disappointedly picking at the pitiful empty trays on the salad bar. I don't want to see this location disappear too!! read more

I had not been in a Ruby Tuesday in about 20 years. I was visiting Eden for work and needed a place to go for lunch. So RT it was. I ordered the Fish and chips. And man!! I was not disappointed! They were excellent, better than many so called English Pub i went to in recent years. They were so good that i went back the day after and ordered the exact same thing. The location of the Rudy Tuesdays is in Eden Nc. They are using watered down A1 sauce and the Ranch dressing. The A looks like brown /rust color mud. The A1 was very runny. They was out of Catalina dressing. The truck hadn't came.. They need to have over stock on hand. The server was good. Sure she was tried of explaining the problems. I will NEVER eat here again. The manager is inept and is unable to even place a food order. They consistantly close the dining room in favor of carry out. I would think that if they are having a waitress shortage, it might be best to let them make some tips. Over an hour to get a meal brought to the table is extreme and not the first time. Two weeks ago, they were out of ribs, this week out of chicken strips. Was at another local eatery and overheard the couple at the next table also complaining about the service they received at Ruby Tuesday as well. Loved this place!! My Husband and I went because a coupon had come in the mail, so we decided to give them a try. I got the Salad bar and a steak, He got a steak and baked potato. The service was extremely slow. We ordered our beverages and food then went to make our salads at the salad bar. We finished our salads before we even got our drinks. The only reason we got them was because was we asked another waiter to inform our waitress that we didnt get our drinks. My food was overcooked and cold and didnt even get my sauce that was supposed to be on it. The soup was not even half way filled and when we asked for another bowl we had to wait a ridiculously long time for a bowl of soup and we never even got the soup. Three strikes and you're out! I've written rave reviews on this establishment -- we patronize it often as it is convenient and conducive to group get-togethers. Of course, those things are no longer but as a couple, we like to support local businesses. This past Saturday was the third time in as many months and the food and service has gone consistently down hill. We waited 40 minutes for our food -- all the while seeing part of our order 'under the lights' for over 10 minutes. We finally had to ask the hostess to find our food. . . our waitress... whatever! There were a great number of people at the lights trying to figure things out, but we did get our food after waiting another 10 minutes. His was warm, mine was hot. I ordered half ribs and they were overcooked and had a sprinkle of sauce on them. They were some of the worst ribs I've ever eaten.

Every time we go or order takeout the food is cold. It takes a long time to get the food as well. Sad as it used to be a favorite place but it seems the chain is struggling since Covid and are not getting good employees. We experienced angry customers at more than one place and even saw a customer that had to go into kitchen to find staff to help him. It's a chain restaurant. But here is where this place stands out and, hence, my good rating: My flight was late; the airline lost the bag. It took me one hour to drive to the hotel. By now, it was 10:30pm and the only option was Taco Bell. The sign said "closed at 10pm". I pulled the door open and peaked inside because there were a few diners finishing up. I asked if I could come in. The manager and the bar tender took me in and fed me a pretty delicious burger and hot french fries. He said "if the door is open, we will serve you". And they did. So kudos for the great service and thanks for the great burger. Service like this has to be commended. read more

This place has a prettier atmosphere than most Ruby's. The service is friendly and presentable. The food is same-ole Ruby's food and the drinks are strong. As far as location, most people probably walk to it since there are many hotels and apartments in Eden - in which case the location is excellent. The Sangria is delicious with a dinner If you've never been to a Ruby's, they have really good burgers as well as pricier itlian seafood and/or steak entrees. The only knock against it is that it may not be obvious as to where the entrance into the parking lot is located. I hate to admit it (because it's a chain) but I really, really liked this Ruby Tuesday. The burger I had was wonderful (Bourbon Hickory BBQ) and the pumpkin cheesecake was out of this world. Our waitress was perfect, really good. This is my first trip into Eden and Ruby Tuesday was a good introduction. It's in a very busy shopping area and everything was very pretty. Worst restaurant experience in quite a while. The whole package was bad. Excessive wait to be seated? Check. Excessive delay in food service? Check. Mistakes with the food? You bet. Questionable customer service? Absolutely (I'll explain). Poor food quality? You'd better believe it. So, I had a fairly large party. I get that. So we waited. We were told 15 to 30 mins and we waited about 50. Okay, like I said large group, I get it. My major issue is the poor assessment of time here. And also, they probably could have told us of our continued delays instead of us having to ask if we'd been forgotten. Drinks were ordered, drinks were brought. Teas and sodas, one bar drink no problem here. This all fell apart on refills. Bar drinker switched to sodas after it became clear we were never going to get food. We ordered apps that were taking excessive amounts of time. While we waited, refills were needed. Sweet tea drinker got unsweetened tea. He told the server. This is the important bit... She chose to argue about what tea she'd given him. This isn't how you do that. Coke drinker gets refill. Can see through the nearly transparent Coke. Turns out they knew the syrup was out and chose to bring the drink anyway. You can imagine from here out how out of control it got. The apps took too long and were cold. Then the food took even longer and was also cold. Multiple items were forgotten that were ordered. By this time everyone is frustrated so the forgotten items were removed from the checks. Two people ordered soup. One didn't come, one was totally cold. Bad steak, bad fries, bad sides. The manager was making her rounds and stopped by our table where she got an earful from various people though I'm proud to say we were as polite about it as possible. Sadly, she also chose to argue about a simple statement that meant nothing (kinda like the tea). Nothing was offered beyond a half-hearted apology. This place has established a culture of failure. After my experience today, I hope they can either start over or quit and close up. Either way, I can't see myself going back. I wish I could give it less stars. read more

First time eating at a Ruby Tuesdays in a long time (did not know this one existed) and it was terrific! I sat at the bar and was greeted promptly by the bartender. The women who was my bartender her name was Brittany! she's was knowledgeable about the menu and made the most amazing ruby relaxer I had ever tasted!
