Came here on St. Pattys I knew it was gonna be packed. That wasn't the issue, once inside I was disappointed that it took me and my date 15-20mins to get service at the bar. I enjoy dive bars and usually a decent one will at least get three stars. This place had potential to be a nice little spot to drink cheap and hang out with friends. It had cheap drinks, it had a racially diverse crowd, it had pinball and pool table and apparently even some karaoke up in this joint. However, I came on a dead night, so all there was to do is pool and pinball and drink. So we decided to play pool, This is the part of the story where my night goes bad. See, there's a chalkboard to keep score, and I wrote down my name as "Me" and her as "Her". Chatsworth/Granada Hills/Northridge... set your GPS to one of those. It all gets kind of mish-mashed up there at that part of the Valley. No matter, you'll find it. It's easy. Parking on the street and some in the lot. Back door entrance where the smokers congregate. Crowded pool table, check. Strange dance floor, hybrid stage and pinball machines, check. Old looking bar with crappy high chairs, check. Whatever, let's rock. I'm giving Oh Gradys three stars for $4 Coors Lights because they keep the live rock alive on Friday and Saturday nights in the Valley. Where else is that happening? The 3 stars are for some of the best bands in the land that DO play here...but that's about one of the only two good thing I can say about this place. It's really worth it to go on the weekends for the loud music if you are feeling in a "sleazy" mood... go with some friends and have a rockus good time. "Real characters" go there.....have a conversation with them anyway cause it can be very interesting (another side of life). ... Just a cool friendly spot to have a drink or hang with friends. It won't win any prizes for decor originality or upkeep, but service is quick and courteous, purple enjoy themselves here, and there's darts and pinball. I rarely write reviews but I have never had such a horrible experience at any bar as I did here. Walked in with another couple, sat at the bar, my bf order a bud light, no problem. I order a vodka tonic, no problem, my friend ordered a Bloody Mary, there is a problem. the bartender straight out said no. At first we thought he was joking then she said "okay how about a Cadillac" he said something that I didn't catch. When her bf asked "hey, what about my girlfriend?" Somehow you are taken to the south through this hole in the wall bar . People here are above the age of 35 they still get buck wild and wear shirts with logos kind of like the ones you buy at target . You can't grade it based on what it's not. A lot of reviews on here calling it a "dump", but it is a dive bar so the standards must be in line. With that said, this place is a little disheveled and rundown but it comes with a charm. Oh Grady's carries every characteristic of a dive bar: worn down interior, bare bone aesthetic, cheap drinks, friendly staff and broken glasses warranting clean up throughout the night lol. My first time coming here on Thursday. The drinks are cheap and STRONG. Possible overpouring by the bartenders that may not be the best for business but it makes for happy customers. I'm not a lightweight and two gin and tonics had me buzzin, each costing 5 dollars so won't break the bank at all. They don't have the best beer selection, but if you don't mind that it shouldn't be a deterrent. The pool table is solid, will need a re-felt in the next couple of years. Patrons are friendly, and it very much has a locals vibe. People running into each other is always a good sign. The bartender is a wrestling fan, which is always a delight. I was fretting coming here given that Granada Hills/chatsworth area night life is barren and lackluster but this place definitely dispelled my misconceptions. The only reason this place gets a star is because there is no option for no stars. Went in for a beer 10mins before last call bartender (large blonde woman) avoided my friend and I. We get it, it was late but it literally takes one minute to take two beers out of the cooler. My friend was practically doing cartwheels to try and get the bartenders attention. Bartender walked towards us (still no eye contact) stopped half way at the register so my friend started to say "I know it's last call but..." , she was cut short by the bar tender who yelled there's no service, turned from the register giving us her back and walked to the end of the bar and proceeded to have a conversation with the people on the end. Don't get me wrong this place has great prices and fantastic service, but some of the people that come here are just cracked out of their minds and looking for a fight. It really takes away from what the place deserves. They need to get some security or something here to sort out some of the trash that comes in. The owner is a lovely person and she and the amazing female bartender who is usually there are the sole reason I will continue to come back here. The inside is also very warm and nice. Been here about 40 times. Over the last year this place has really gone downhill. Walked in last Saturday saw a guy puke on the bar and condiments right in front of the bar tender. She didnt care or clean it up. I walked right out. This place has become sticky and gross. The element has changed here too. Hidden little bar in the valley. For years I've driven past this place and never noticed. Should have stayed that way. Completely a locals bar atmosphere. Stopped by here with friends for a quick drink heading off to another place. Place was packed for a Saturday night. The live band on the little stage was playing great variety of classic rock songs. Make no mistake, this is a dive bar, however it's still a pretty fun spot. Its also a "local bar" as the majority of the patrons are regulars. The drinks are fairly cheap and not watered down. There is live music on Friday and Saturday nights by primarily cover bands (that's ok because the last thing I want to hear at a bar is new stuff). The service is fast and courteous. Overall, I'll give it five stars because the prices are right, there is no cover charge and the atmosphere is pretty laid back. This place is great for what it is, a local neighborhood bar with GREAT- CHEAP drinks, American Ale on Tap! (Which I love) Really good live bands every weekend! .... It's not Snazzy but it's cool. Not bad at all! My roommate told me about this place and on a Tuesday night we headed over there. It's a divey bar with cool people, great drinks, and some fun karaoke. Typical dive bar. Last visited on a Sunday night and it was karaoke night. Came in around 10, seemed like a crowd of usuals and the pool room in the back was pretty busy. I wish I had known it was cash only (maybe a sign on the front door?) but after ordering our beers (from the limited tap selection), I had to use their in-house ATM that didn't work initially because the phone was off the hook. The karaoke DJ was fun though and I even sang a song or two. The usuals are probably what drag the bar down and some new blood could pick this place up. I'd like to check this place out on a Sunday/Monday during football as they had ample flatscreen TVs for viewing. read more

Luv this bar for the FREE live music on Fri & Sat nights. Yea, cash only bar but "hello," most neighborhood dive bars are cash only. Along with great music and lower than most bar prices on bevs, there's a pool table, darts, and dance floor. The atmosphere is very casual...another plus! and free parking right out front.
