Great establishment. Fabulous food with multiple options served family style and they'll bring more if you really liked something. The show was a big variety enough to okease everyone. And the show changes a few times throughout the year so definitely make a point to visit.

A great performance, combined with a great meal. What a fun evening, 2 hours of solid entertainment. The performers are also part of the waitstaff, and they pulled it off seamlessly. The meal soup started pea soup, which I immediately called Moose Soup, yes the crazy American. We had haddock, chicken and roast beef. The meal ended with a world-famous maple crusted cake. If you like whiskey theirs is maple-infused, and not bad.

    Sangria anyone?

Best dinner theater I've ever seen and I've seen a lot. So good, so entertaining, so funny and they were all so talented. Our waiter and entertainer Ryland was so sweet and talented. We enjoyed every min of it, EH!

Picture with the Rocky Horror Show cast. At $5 a person, it was a little steep.

We have been to Oh Canada Eh on two occasions. The first time was for the Oh Canada Eh show. It was a funny show that went through the history of Canada with musical numbers and traditional acting. We opted for the dinner package, the food was good, but not amazing. In the future I would probably just get the show ticket. The second time we went was for the Rocky Horror Show. The show was a ton of fun! Like the movie, there were callbacks and props to use. In addition to the show, they also did a costume contest, a 50/50 raffle and pictures with the cast. Where they fall short for me is simply cost. For the type and quality of shows that they host, I feel like they could be a little bit cheaper. That being said I would definitely go again with a coupon or promotional price.

This was my first dinner theater experience and it was amazing! I really don't know how the servers/performers do it. They shift easily between offering you a drink to getting on stage and belting out a ballad. We saw the first run through of the Christmas show this year and I highly recommend you check it it if you're looking for something to do. Plus, the food was delicious too! The Christmas show incorporates traditional dishes and it really put me in the spirit!

We had an amazing time at Oh Canada Eh? Our server Sam was awesome! The food was surprisingly good and the entertainment was top notch! All of the performers were spectacular and it was a great musical history of Canada!! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Niagara Falls area!

The show is entirely too long. Food is good but not memorable. Multiple entrees served family style.

It doesn't come to mind when you think of a place to go to listen to music, but it has some great bands come through. Now, keep in mind a lot of the bands the come through are punk bands. If that isn't your style of music, I don't think I would suggest heading to The New Bayou. As a bar, it's....well it's...I don't actually know. Once you find the place (it hasn't much of a sign out front) you walk down the stairs and meet The new Bayou. There is a bar, and it is limited. Beer, your standard booze, and that is about it. The bartenders are there, but don't expect them to be making Gin Martini's in a dirty glass. they have a limited staff, so don't expect table service either. The first time I went there I was told to come back again on that Friday because the girl bartending was also going to be body painted. Soo, is this a bar, a music venue, a burlesque house? It sounds like a dump, right? No. It's not. It is unique though. there are not a lot of places you can walk into that not only have a stage but a set of couches straight out of 1986 and a big screen TV playing a dinosaur movie from the '60s. Are you confused yet? You should be. That is exactly what The New Bayou is, a very confusing but enjoyable place. Leave your worries at the door and take it all in. You'll quickly become accustom to the venue. Once that happens you can enjoy the music. there is a lot of punk bands that go through and for some reason they can bring in some fairly notable bands, if you're into Punk. Remember SNFU, they play The New Bayou, along with bands from throughout North America. I don't know how they do it, but this little hole in the wall is able to create its own little place in Ottawa's music scene.

Ever been along Bank at Sunnyside late one night and heard the sound of awesome live music? No, you…read moreare not going insane. What you are hearing are the sounds emanating from the New Bayou - an underground (literally) club beneath the Framed! store. The place is small, but vitally atmospheric. Expect the unexpected - couches, weird stuff on the TVs and the hottest underground punk and alternative bands in Ottawa. It is such an oddity in what is essentially a quiet, suburban school zone (yes, there is a school kitty corner to the bar). If you are at all overly sensitive and want to quietly sip a mojito while discussing environmentally friendly cleaning products with your BFF, then you should probably go elsewhere. But, if you like your scene loud and raw and in a place where anything can happen, go to the Bayou.
