Fun musical, ok food. We came here for their 2019 Christmas musical. The musical had a story that was easy to follow, and at the end you hear familiar Christmas songs. The actors and actresses are very good, they are also the servers too. I love their voices. The food on the other hand didn't seem as good as the show. I did like the pea soup which was part of the appetizer and the dessert at the end. For the entrees the turkey was dry. Some of the food was great tasting but all of it was barely warm, and some over cooked. Service was great. Show was decent but dated, and cringe worthy at times. They would hit on elderly people...often to make them part of the show. They could have easily cut these out and save 30 minutes off the 3 hour show. The room is not designed for audio, and them throwing bose speakers and cranking the volume was not the resolve. So much of the signing and talking you couldn't understand for this. Glad we did it, and had a good time, but would not go back or recommend. So based on all the reviews giving this 4-5 stars all I can say is that this part of Canada must be severely lacking in theater, and evidently in decent dinner as well. Start with the food: Pea soup and salad are fine Chicken is inedible based on the amount of salt dumped on it Roast is tough and flavorless Fish is fried to the point of being overly crisp Maple cake is very yuck But we didn't come for the food right? We came for the show. And the show was a show that never bloody ended. Talented cast sings songs about Canada or by Canadians. Sounds great except it goes on for two freakin hours without so much as a five minute break. By an hour in we just wanted to go home but no...another song, and another and another. My family and I were actually texting across the table about how painfully long this show was. In terms of value I suppose this makes this good - since it is a little pricey. If we are talking dollars per minute we made out well. Except...well...to be kind, after the first hour it was just awful. Repetitive, mostly unfunny, and overall a drag of time. They've been here a long time so I stick by my initial statement: the niagara area is seriously lacking in theater opportunities. read more

A great performance, combined with a great meal. What a fun evening, 2 hours of solid entertainment. The performers are also part of the waitstaff, and they pulled it off seamlessly. The meal soup started pea soup, which I immediately called Moose Soup, yes the crazy American. We had haddock, chicken and roast beef. The meal ended with a world-famous maple crusted cake. My hubby and I were visiting Niagra and we wanted to have a unique dinner experience. We are musicians, so we are always looking for a unique musical experience. We saw adverstisement for this dinner show experience. The performers are really awesome and super hard working. They are talented and professional. The show is basically the history of Canada through Canadian music and Canadians who have become famous music performers. As "Americans" we never knew how many popular musicians are Canadian! Very enjoyable show. They realize that it's kind of kitchy... but fun. It's a very intimate experience. We had gotten "premium" seating and we were literally right in front of the stage. The performers are ALSO your servers. As a performer myself I was super impressed in how these singers and dancers were also serving us our drinks and food. Talk about working for your money! This is NOT a fine dining experience. Tables are long rectangular with 6-8 per table. So if you are going as a group or as a couple keep in mind you'll be possibly seated with "strangers". But hey its a great opportunity to meet some nice folks. The food is really just meh... served family style. Which means you pass the platters of food. Not very "high quality" but decent. Roast beef, chicken, fried fish, salad that is too heavily dressed, bread, roast potatoes, roast vegtables, dessert. So you are not ordering a specific entree for yourself. And it is all you can eat... so if you want more... just ask. My biggest issue is that the location is NOT on the beaten path... it's really on the "outskirts" of Niagra in a "neighborhood". We had a car but didn't know we should have used it. We took public transport which took us right to the place, but took a while. My issue is when the show and dinner is done... it is dark and public transportation takes a LONG time to come. SO long that we ended up ordering an Uber after waiting 30-45 minutes for the bus to come while we waiting alone on the street in the dark. I don't know if I'd go back in the future... but the show has been running for 25 years which is impressive. And we were seated with a couple who said it's one of their "favorite things" and are multiple repeat visitors. If you are looking for a unique experience, this certainly qualifies. read more

Dinner and a show perfected. My expectations were exceeded at every turn. The staff was friendly and accommodating the entire time. The performers were fantastic. Truly professionals with wonderful voices. The show is an excellent mix of history, laughs, music, and just truly impressive voice work. If you are hesitant to go or don't know what to expect just try it because you will not be disappointed! We have been to Oh Canada Eh on two occasions. The first time was for the Oh Canada Eh show. It was a funny show that went through the history of Canada with musical numbers and traditional acting. We opted for the dinner package, the food was good, but not amazing. In the future I would probably just get the show ticket. The second time we went was for the Rocky Horror Show. The show was a ton of fun! Like the movie, there were callbacks and props to use. In addition to the show, they also did a costume contest, a 50/50 raffle and pictures with the cast. Where they fall short for me is simply cost. For the type and quality of shows that they host, I feel like they could be a little bit cheaper. That being said I would definitely go again with a coupon or promotional price. read more

This was my first dinner theater experience and it was amazing! I really don't know how the servers/performers do it. They shift easily between offering you a drink to getting on stage and belting out a ballad. We saw the first run through of the Christmas show this year and I highly recommend you check it it if you're looking for something to do. Plus, the food was delicious too! Went here as the last night of our honeymoon and I must say, I and my husband enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Both of us are fans of musicals and performing arts and decided to check this place out while we were in Niagara Falls. We called the day of the show we wanted to attend about 15 minutes earlier than their box office opening time (9:00 am) but Shannon who answered was very nice and allowed us to purchase the tickets ahead of time. It was a bit pricey (about $80 for each of us for the premium seating) but it was well worth it. When you arrive, the place looks and feels like an old lodge or large cabin in the woods. There is all kinds of decor and miscellaneous Canadiana around (ex. A Hudson's Bay blanket on the wall right of the stage). The serving staff/actors were dressed accordingly, with the girls wearing Canada flag aprons and the guys wearing outfits similar to a stereotypical lumberjack outfit. Our first course of the dinner consisted of French Canadian pea soup, garden salad and fresh bread. My husband and I were both a bit leery on pea soup but once we tried it, we changed our minds completely. It was absolutely delicious. Their specialty drinks were $8.25 each, but each had about 2 oz. of alcohol. Coffee, tea, and pitchers of water were provided with no additional charge. Overall, the drink prices were very reasonable. Once the show started, we were totally engrossed. The actors were very talented and were definitely engaging. The music was a nice mix of traditional and contemporary and with live musicians performing. The main course was served family style at the tables and consisted of battered Atlantic Haddock, Grade "Eh" Alberta roast beef, roast Manitoba chicken, a New Brunswick vegetable medley and P.E.I. Potatoes. I could not say I had an issue with any of the food. I had second helpings of all of it since it was all so good. The dessert was a Maple Chocolate Cake that was to die for. It was so moist and delicious. Honestly, there is a reason they are the number 1 rated dinner theatre on TripAdvisor. If you are in the Niagara Falls area and you are looking for an evening of entertainment, check this place out. It's worth every penny. read more

The performance was great and they can sing well some a lot better than others. Entertaining. Educational. However, I must express my opinion of your offering to cater to those with special diet restrictions. Everyone involved was courteous seemingly understanding the severity and were fully aware prior to my attending this event. I understand businesses can not guarantee, but I was lead to believe they were doing their best. I want other guests that attend your dinner theater to understand that this is not a safe place to eat when you have a fish allergy. Cross contamination happened and as a result I ended up in a Hospital Emergency Department. By the time I had reached home I was reacting negatively to exposure to fish. I survived this experience. A really fun time out that I'd say was worth it. The show consists of around 2 hours of mostly singing canadian songs with some humourous skits thrown in. The cast had a great amount of talent which I definitely commend on its own- they were all able to sing very well in addition to a little acting and somewhat being servers. As a result, the music was rather enjoyable to experience. The skits were also quite funny; they may have overused some jokes like bad puns a bit, but the absurdity of some of it and the amount of times I laughed definitely made it a great time. The food was also pretty good. Not of the best I've had; I feel like everything could've used a bit more flavor and a bit less salt but I ate alot and it tasted fine. I think some parts may have dragged a little bit but I'm not sure if I'm a big fan of musical dinner shows in general. Regardless, it was a unique and fun experience that I'm definitely glad I went to. read more

We ended up waiting too long for tickets, so it cost a bit more than I would have liked , but we were right in front of the stage . 13 yo son enjoyed it. 7 yr old daughter kept asking when it would be over . Recently I went for the dinner show. The show was awesome, but the food was horrible. The fish was hard and everything tasted like it was just microwaved and some of the food especially the vegies were cold, the desert was great though. Last time I attended which was a few years earlier the food was great as was the show. I told people about it, but when they attended they too didn't think much of the food. I just had to go again to see for myself and unfortunately they were right. Great bunch of actors/actresses!! Great job done by them. read more
