We finally checked out their website and it looked so good! A wonderful variety of everything we love. We wondered why we hadn't checked it out before. Ordered Sea Bass which comes with salad and Cod Tacos. Wore a mask, picked up outside due to Covid, came home and had one of the very best meals we've had in a long time!! I felt like we were on vacation. The salad was plum-full of spinach, tomatoes, corn, beans, raisins, and two yummy dressings,; the whole bass was grilled to perfection and rich with flavor. The fish tacos reminded me of our favorite fresh taco restaurants in Hawaii, bursting with freshness. Due to Covid19 we're ordering pick up once a week and we may have found our new weekly spot. I got the Fish burger (forgot the name) and the tarter sauce was amazing! They brought a little taster with homemade chips (disappointed they didn't come with the burger, but the fries were great) with mushroom and jalapeno as well. My husband and I kept hearing about this place so we decided to try it....SO glad we did! I got the Fish and Chips which was the most "expensive" thing on the menu, but totally worth it. Obviously very fresh fish and the batter wasn't like gross fried food. The fries were delicious as well! My husband got the fish tacos, I think I'll be getting those next time! He said they were amazing. He got a little salad with it with homemade dressing too. We also ordered the brussel sprouts with the sweet and spicy sauce. There was a lot of sauces to try so I grabbed some to go. When I got home I dove in!! The breading on the fish was soggy, didn't really have a nice crunch and the fries were mediocre not really crunchy. I started dipping in some of the sauces. There was an interesting blueberry-ish dip which was good, but after awhile the taste was somewhat making me nauseous. Probably the best fish and chips around. The cod is well seasoned, big and thick with a light, crisp batter, like it is in Britain. Home made fries and chips too! We were super impressed with the tasty food at Wave. The owner told us that he gets a delivery of sea food everyday from San Francisco, and you can really tell that the fish is super fresh. In our group, we ordered clam chowder, fish tacos, and fish and chips, and each one got high marks from us. They are open for lunch and dinner. The atmosphere seems a bit more like a lunch place. We have been regulars since this place was called The Wave Fish and Chips, and have brought our friends here as we always enjoy our meals. My wife and I ordered take-out this evening the second day after opening on the first of the month after being closed for several weeks to comply with social distancing. Using the on-line menu, we phoned our order to Amanda who gave us the time we could pick up our dinners, about 20 minutes after opening at 5:00 pm. We had the choice to use a credit card over the phone, or to pay in cash at pickup. We all had our face masks and paid in cash. The meal was great; we each ordered our favorite: Our take-out bag included two kinds of dressing/ sauce for the salad and the fish. The servings of cod (three pieces) for each meal was generous enough to save for our next fish dinner. The fish was seasoned and done to flaky perfection, and the potatoes and salad were fresh and tasty as well. We plan to order again soon to support our local businesses. read more

This place picked one thing and did it right. I hopped in with the kids one night, they were skeptical, but from the first bite they became believers. Their kids meals were only about $5, which included small pieces of battered fried fish, fries, and a full size soda. I think chef Daniel needs to look at another alternative to the soda, but I didn't ask either, maybe he had something else. I got the fish tacos, same fish pieces, and with his house-made sauces, they were excellent. The tortillas fell apart a little, maybe he needs to fry those a bit too, but it was so good.
