She didn't care at all, never asked one question about me and if she talked it was about herself the entire time. When I told her it was too choppy I was told my hair was too thick! She took less than 10 minutes to cut my hair and watched as she haphazardly cut it in pieces quickly without trying to properly layer. Other stylists there were very pleasant with their clients as I overheard them chatting. Perhaps it was a bad stylist pick, but after this its not worth a second pass.

Virginia took the time to educate me. She gave me loads of advice on how to get my hair healthy with product and styling techniques. The cut is gorgeous and the curls produced blew me away. This is the first time I woke up the next day without a frizzy mess. I appreciate business owners that know their craft and work so hard at caring for their clients. I also was impressed with Virginia as a human. I am picky about my people and I found my person. I will be back!

One of their staff, who was very young, washed my…read moredaughter's long hair and scrubbed it so rough, that it came out in one single, huge, long hairball. We went in with combed out, smooth hair; and after she scrubbed it so rough while washing, it took over an hour to comb out the snarled mess of tangles. I was so upset, watching the gal pull and tug and yank my daughter's hair for literally over an hour, trying to get it combed back out. This was a horrible experience. It was like she was trying to make dreadlocks out of a beautiful head of long hair. It was terrible watching my daughter in so much pain getting her hair pulled and tugged for over an hour getting the wad of tangles out that she created. Not to mention all of the split ends it caused, it was awful! The salon advertises curly hair specialists, but this stylist apparently had no knowledge working with LONG curly hair. I debated posting a negative review, but this experience still bothers me months later. My 18-year-old daughter was looking forward to getting her hair done by a curly hair specialist; and needless to say, we left upset and frustrated over the terrible experience. To top it off, we were charged over $120 for the horrible experience. They did not even offer a discount to take care of the problem they created. The owner and another staff member just kept looking over as the gal was trying, feverishly to comb out all of the tangles. The young gal did not even offer an apology or take any responsibility for creating the problem. I just couldn't wait to get out of the place. They may specialize in curly hair, but obviously not with long curly hair! I will never go back again. Beware!
