When the server (who spent most of his time on his phone) took our plates, which we hadn't even halfway eaten, he asked if we didn't like the food. Ho Ping House had the same good servers for years. They were polite, friendly and I always tipped. In the last several months they lost their best waitresses and the service has really suffered. Not re-filling the drinks, disappearing for long stretches of time, getting the orders wrong, surely attitude, etc. I spoke to one of the long-time employees about this recently and they seemed to not care, or not believe me.
