I had my first gingerbread latte at off set coffee on Crenshaw 2 years ago. Safe to say I wait every winter season for it to come back. Everything from the food, service, to the environment was amazing! We got a biscuit, the pastrami and cheese pastry, the avocado toast. So good! My son said it's the best avocado test he's had anywhere. The lavender coffee latte was delicious not too sweet and the regular latte was perfect. WOW, what a find. I really hope this place gets on Eater, blows up, and enjoys all the success. My friends and I go to a different cafe every Sunday, and this one has us all raving the rest of the day. From now on, I want horchata in all my matcha lattes!! It was incredible. Hidden gem! Coffee: Ordered my usual iced oat latte. Super smooth and just great. Avocado toast: Everyone has avocado toast but I love when a place adds their own touch. Always enjoy trying a new coffee spot..(almost always) so here we go...doesn't accept cash...hate that...strike 1....menu says simply.... coffee..$4.99...I said to the girl..u only have 1 size coffee? She says ..yes. Ok I'll take a coffee...she says..12 or 16 ounce? Wow. Strike 2...They only have 1 blend of coffee...pretty stupid for a place with coffee in the store name...strike 3...coffee sucked..very bitter...strike 4...This place is in a terrible location that is hard to get in and out of, so you would think that they would go the extra mile to make it worth your while to deal with all that. The few baristas I have spoken to is really nice, good coffee. I have been following this place around SoCal, I used to go to their Torrance location a lot, and brought my dog in there and no one has ever given me a hard time. This location seems to pick who they tell, can and cannot bring their dogs in. If you're a white lady and have a husky, they'll gladly let you inside to order your coffee. But if you aren't white and have a TRAINED PITBULL. "The health dept says you cant be here" Gotcha!! So the girl asked me to go sit outside, she saw that I was trying to do work on my tablet, I left outside, to which two benches were occupied and the others were just locked up and no capable of being used there weren't even seats to sit at. AS THEIR EMPLOYEE SHE KNEW THIS!! I did not order anything, I packed my bags and went else where that ALLOWS ME and my dog to sit and do my school work. I wont be back, Plenty of coffee shops around that has benches and SEATS to sit on even if it is outside, because me and my dog has to stay outside. Not having a place for us to sit at is a joke.. This is their second location and so far, I love it! Offset never disappoints if you're in need of a quick pick me up. My go to is their Vanilla Latte with oatmilk, I must say their coffee is amazing. The beans don't taste overly roasted but well balanced, you can taste it especially when drinking your lattes un sweetened. If you're a little hungry, their pastries are really good but make sure you taste their avo toast..It is exceptional! It is a little on the spicy side so make sure you let them know to omit the chili flakes if you can't handle the heat. I also purchase their whole beans for my breville espresso machine at home and the beans work really well! After much debate on my end, the manager suggested I'd try their Stereo Blend and it is now my go to! Also, the bags are quite large too. I can't recall how many oz are in a bag but it's definitely about 20-25% more than the competition, which is awesome! If you're in the area you should definitely swing by and give Offset a try. Randomly stumbled across this coffee shop on my way to work. It's somewhat near LAX. Chill spot to study or hang to read a book. I ordered the seasonal Caramel Bourbon Iced Latte with oat milk. Honestly, it was really tasty. Full bodied and smooth. Baristas we're nice and friendly. Service was quick. Love the merch! I was really tempted to buy a tote bag because they're so cute! Stopped in to Offset while passing through El Segundo and I was very pleased with my order and experience. The staff was so friendly and one of the workers brought my coffee over to me once it was ready, rather than just shout that my order was ready. I know this may seem small but it's small gestures like this that really go a long way.
