If you have a JPEG logo for example there will be a fee (which was under $50 with tax) to have Hometown convert the logo into the file type required for embroidery. When I went into the store to look at the logo once it had been digitized I was able to have changes made to it - delete words and realign other words. The staff were super helpful telling me what is common in terms of logo width and font size. If you have a logo already made they can pretty much execute any drag and resize action you could want. If you don't have a file already, while they don't design logos, they can set you up with stylized words. The staff were super patient as I picked out the colors to be used bringing me spools of thread to compare against each other and against the shirts I brought in and the digital image of my logo. I find their prices super reasonable and everyone was very friendly. It was just $12 per shirt that I wanted to have embroidered. I didn't buy the clothing there, but they had a retail floor of clothing and hats and a half ream sized catalog that you could purchase anything you could imagine from. My shirts were ready for pickup a week later and I was really happy with the quality and colors. I will certainly drop off more shirts soon and I'm thinking some hats too and maybe some of those cloth grocery bags.

The store currently sells holiday season merchandise - Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I was especially excited about pink decor! Pink ghosts, holiday trees, Santa's, and more. It made me consider pink tree this year. Despite extensive inventory, I wasn't able to find anything that I was looking for. Specifically cross stitch kits and paint by the numbers kits. The inventory displayed online did not match store display. There was no one to ask so I purchased only one item - cross stitch spruce kit. SERVICE: There is no service at this store. It makes no sense because there are plenty of employees on the sales floor. Folks working at the front of the store at a table don't acknowledge any guests. Employees working the checkout to help customers with checkout don't engage with customers. It's very robotic transaction with self-checkout and no human interaction. It's really strange and should change. I liked holiday inventory at the store. I'm not very enthusiastic about service at the store. If there was friendliness or approachability, I would inquire about more items and get them. The latter makes me not want to visit again.

As some of the other reviews said, the owner did not wear a mask. The reviews stating that she was unfriendly/unkind, and in my opinion were completely untrue. She was very helpful and kind during our visit. One other thing to note, I did struggle to understand the pricing of their products (the vinyl prices were visible but the blank pricing was not posted). They were eager to assist when I asked questions. My visit to Crafter's Warehouse Superstore was a good experience and I will definitely return soon.

Since our couch order was heavy, we opted for 'room of choice' as our delivery option, which included the delivery team carrying the couch up a max of 2 flights of stairs. This was needed by us because we're on the 3rd floor of an apartment that doesn't have elevators. On the day of delivery, the 3rd party delivery service that's contracted with BB&B sends us something with fine print that states they only carry orders over the threshold of the building, and leave it there. When we ask to maintain the service we paid for, our delivery was cancelled, pending working it out with BB&B customer service. Next, customer service repeatedly tries to tell us we requested something outside the listed terms of 'room of choice' delivery, thinking we were asking them to go up more than two flights of stairs. Once they finally understood we didn't ask for anything that wasn't included in that delivery option, tmhey told us they would refund the extra money for the delivery option we paid for, but it was up to us to take the couch up the stairs. When we told them that was unacceptable and wanted a refund, they initially claimed it would be labeled "buyers remorse" and we'd be charged anywhere between $100-695, which would be 50% of the total price. After standing up for ourselves and pointing out that this was false advertising, (we were denied a service that was included in what we paid for), they eventually granted us a full refund, after weeks of arguing back and forth. What a nightmare. The company never took any responsibility in the process for contracting with a company that refused to meet a service they advertised, nor did they attempt to find another delivery service that could accommodate. Pathetic customer service, they lost a customer for life. Don't order online with them!

I've had about seven pieces framed here, at both the old location in the Promenade and the new…read morelocation along Detroit Road. I've seen them handle a wide assortment of projects, from animation cels and original works of arts to the more standard framed diplomas and certificates. Framing is not cheap--individual pieces have run from the mid $100s to just over $300. I thought the prices were worth it given the obvious great care they put into each of the jobs, including spending a considerable amount of time with me one afternoon picking just the right colors for the triple matting on one of the pieces. Also, when I ran into problems years later on one of the frames--some inexplicable warping on the frame--they replaced it at no charge and without a bit of hassle. This is definitely my go-to place for framing.
