Had a simple request for the service desk, the same as services I've made here before. The elderly employee at the desk today was rude in replying with excuses for why she didn't want to do the job I'd requested and implied that I couldnt afford to have a simple cut and laminating request completed. read more

I went to OfficeMax to get 35 color copies made and cut into fourths. I was told that I could pick them up in five days or make the copies myself. The staff was helpful in setting up the copy machine, but I kept getting an error message that the machine needed service. The fifth time that I asked for help, the sales manager, Dani, said she would make my copies for me. She quickly made the copies and then cut them into quarters. She was friendly, helpful, and - amazingly- she did not charge me for the copies. I was beyond pleased by the level of service she provided. I will be back. read more

When I went into Office Max today I needed to print off posters for a presentation, and for some reason technology just wasn't on my side. So Kym who helped me - went out of her way to help me even tho she was super busy. She made specialized print and when my laptop was not working she took the time and helped me download it agian . she knows the store like the back of her hand, any time a costumer would come in she would say "Hi how can i help you " even if she was doing something. This place has gone down hill in the past few years. The one review is right place is deserted without any employees to assist you at times. Once I asked for help and I felt like I was given the cold shoulder like I why did I ask. Let me tell you once I was shopping and I ran into the District Manager and I believe her name was Joan. Very rude lady and her and the Manager were not very helpful at the time. Seems like they only hire people with bad attitudes and poor customer service skills. My good friend works for this company but in the corporate office in naperville Illinois. I told him about my experience and I'm going to meet with an executive to discuss this matter further. read more

I was in town for an important meeting but had forgotten my power cables in LA. I stopped by when they opened and picked up a handful the prices were very reasonable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was a breeze and this store was easy to find! read more

I stopped at this location recently to get some business envelopes. I purchased those, a pen, and a notebook. I have been in this location before and I am never greeted or see anyone. It almost feels like the location is deserted. I got to the checkout, and there was a blonde haired guy who was the cashier. He looked like he had just rolled out of bed, and then promptly coughed loudly, did not cover his mouth, say "excuse me" or anything. I was disgusted. This store was NOT busy, so its not like he was so mentally rushed that he just forgot to cover his mouth. It really grossed me out. I won't be going back. read more

I waited for 30 minutes while the customer ahead of me priced business cards. I wanted to get post cards printed. When it was my turn I tried to ask some questions and was told I would have to place an order because she can't do anything that would take more the 10 minutes. I told her that I waited for half an hour and would like to be treated like the other customer. I left without being helped. I met the guy who was ahead of me out in the parking lot. He didn't like the price he was given for business cards. I referred him to vistaprints.com. I don't think I'll be back to OfficeMax. read more

Staff was rude, unhelpful and unsympathetic. I let the manager know I had a lot of questions and she said she could help. She did not answer any of them and I didn't even get the chance to ask most of them. She argued with me and had to have the last word as I was walking out. No one I know will ever shop at Office Max or Office Depot ever again. We can get paper, staples, business cards, furniture, technology and anything else on those shelves literally anywhere else and with better service. Or online without having to talk to anyone. Although it is nice to be helped by people when they are willing to be patient and try to make the customer leave happy. Please retrain your entire company and staff on customer service. That should be more important than numbers and running a business. In closing, had the manager not back talked me as the last thing she said but rather asked how she could help resolve the situation, I would have left smiling. Instead I just left and will never step foot in any of their stores again or click on any of their websites. Not even an ad. I don't know the manager's name but it doesn't matter. She shouldn't be the face of any organization that helps people. I do not wish to be contacted by anyone from this store as I have already contacted corporate and they are looking into this matter.
