When I was there today, there was a girl working with dark, wavy hair and glasses who was running all around the store talking and laughing very loudly with her mask hanging off the side of her face. The fact that she had a mask just hanging off of one ear instead of actually wearing it and put all of the customers and other staff at risk made me extremely uncomfortable and a person who looked to be the manager saw her and didn't say anything. Now I can't even tell you the last time I went to an OfficeMax, but I needed some photos printed for my house. Morgan helped me at the printing center and I can't stress enough, she is the greatest person ever! She went above and beyond to help us with our photos. The printer wasn't working so after trying her hardest to get the printer back up, she forwarded our photos to the next closest OfficeMax. She even called to make sure they got the photos, make the sure the photo paper was the same, and kept us smiling and laughing the whole time. 10 out of 10, OfficeMax is my new office store thanks to Morgan!! read more

This OfficeMax location has been great for the most part, very conveniently located to my residence, and a good, strong wifi signal is available for public use (even on the benches outside the store if the need should ever arise! haha) However, there are a few hiccups here, particularly with the printing center. For some reason, emailing even the tiniest of files to the store's direct email address for printing has never worked. There also appears to be an ongoing issue with the 11x17 full service Xerox color copier not being able to center margins correctly, even when being defined correctly in the files being printed. I had an 11x17 color print that came out off center a total of four times on that machine during one visit before I finally had to resort to using the self service copier, which had no issues. If your flash drive has multiple partitions and/or is not formatted for MS-DOS, chances are their computers and machines will have trouble reading your files, so it's not the best environment for Mac users. Staff members are friendly, although I've bumped into a couple that have appeared uninterested, but aside from this and the techy issues, great for the most part. Have your files ready on an unpartitioned PC formatted flash drive, utilize the self vs. full service color copiers, and you should be good to go. read more

I had a package to send, needed stamps and copies made. Because I don't do this very often, every step of the way required assistance from the staff. Brandon walked me through every step and was professional, courteous and patient as I asked numerous questions. The young lady at the check out also helped with the copier. Writing reviews on big box chains, is not my most favorite type of review, but I always try and write one if the service is always good. I don't know how many times I have come to this store in need of prints or copies or even hard to find items. Every time I enter the store, someone is there to greet me and ask if I need any help. You don't find that often in a big box store. The store is clean and easy to run in and run out. I have purchased computers and supplies here for several years, and the associate is always there to get my items and ring me up. read more

Terrible. The benefit of the doubt let me down with these guys. On something as simple as a pencil sharpener. I get it, OfficeMax doesn't make them, they just sell them. But man, when the thing breaks you would think it would be easy to swap it out. You would think. But I'm afraid not. I heard these guys are going down in flames. That makes total sense. Its really the service, and by service I mean lack thereof, that hurts them. Staples is the clear winner. read more
