Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Zero sense of urgency in a store that could at least open the doors if you are not going to air condition the place. What a pleasant experience. I have been looking every where for a simple office printer. Due to some cargo ship issues everyone was out. I called ahead and spoke to the Assistant Store Manager Steven and he had 2 and was willing to put one aside. I arrived in the store shortly after. Rather than simply letting me take it and go about my business, he asked great probing simple questions to get an idea of whether or not I chose the right machine. He gave recommendations based on my printing needs and when we were done I decided to go ahead and still get it. It made the most sense for my needs. Steven was pleasant, informative and friendly. It is rare to see someone deliver customer service while still being a clear salesperson. Most would have said, yep is this all you need? Great, have a nice day. Steven took me back to a time where employees connected with customers. I will now frequent this location rather than the Staples next to my house because of Steven. read more

It is with some sadness that I make this post of the new OfficeDepot (formerly OfficeMax). While I don't need a whole bunch of stuff from here, I have bought a Laptop late last year (5 stars for the help in selecting it and paying for it) and other brought products and printing services (4 to 5 stars). And, I was able to pay AFTER I got my order. On December 29th, I sent them a e-mail of some stuff that I needed printing. I followed up with a phone call to ensure that they got it (once before, they didn't get my e-mail). The girl told me that they did and while one order would be immediate, the other had to be sent out (about 10 business days). And, I was okay with that. Well, on 1/12/16, I called them and was told that they had no record of my order and that it had to be paid for in advance (why wasn't I told this back on 12/29?). So, I resent the e-mail. And, I went in and paid for it (and, I picked up the one order). Today, 1/19/16, I called to follow up. AGAIN, they had NO RECORD of my order. So, AGAIN, I resent the e-mail. The ONLY reason why this review isn't a 1 Star, is because of the previous very good to great service gotten from some of the SAME staff members in the past. But, if this order is lost, I will be changing the rating. read more

We went into the store to get copies made the associates were extremely rude and not helpful one bit the line was long I was willing to wait I never heard I'll be right with you or anything once we got to the front of the line I told the girl that what I needed to be copied was on my phone I asked how do I send it to store to print she acted like she was irritated And kept huffing and puffing so finally I said you know what just forget it and we went to Staples or we always get excellent customer service in excellent help! The lady at the front counter was very kind and directed me to the printing department-hence the extra star. However, Justin at the printing department was less than helpful. I needed some items printed from my email-not all of the files but a couple, on cardstock. After waiting while he ran an errand, I was promptly informed by Justin that there were "way too many files" and he wouldn't be able to do this while I waited. Looking at other reviews, and from previous experience, I am hardly surprised by this interaction and response, but still disappointed. read more

I have only shopped at this Officemax twice but both times have been excellent experiences. I am a bit disappointed in the selection of inventory of some of the office supplies and prices, but the service has been excellent, as are their sales. The first time I came here I picked up an office chair for my desk I had bought online. The chair, once put together, was technically fine with no mechanical or structural issues, but I hated it. When sitting in it, it just did not suit me and actually put stress on my body in how I had to maintain my posture in it. I tried to live with it for about a week but ultimately could not deal with the idea of spending all day in it if working from home. I ended up taking it back to Officemax but was unsure if they would accept the return as there truly was nothing wrong with the chair and I had thrown away the box and packaging. They were excellent in responding to my query about returning the chair and very understanding of my predicament. They did not even hesitate in accepting the return and giving me my money back for it and were more than helpful the entire way through the transaction. I am very grateful for their understanding, patience, and assistance. I wish every retailer were as good to deal with as these folks were. Fortunately, I was able to test out the chairs they had onsight and find another one that suited me much better and purchased it and left a very satisfied customer. read more

I'm not very happy. They promise same day printing if you place your order by 2pm. Mine was in at 11 am and they promised it by 7. I have now called at 7:30 to be told it "should" be ready by 10 tomorrow. Not quite meeting their promise. We'll see how tomorrow goes... read more

I have been fighting with them since Jan. No customer service out side of the store. You can't get an area manager number and you can't call the 800 number is for on line only. Paid for a protection Plan and every time I call they say I don't have one. Worst customer ever. read more

I went into the print center with quite an extensive and complicated order on my flash drive, and although Claudia at the print center counter was very busy and alone for the afternoon she was such an immense help. Very patient and informative and gave me all the tools and information I needed to get the job done. I cannot begin to explain how much more helpful and friendly Claudia was over most guest service agents I've ever encountered. SHE IS THE BEST! I would absolutely recommend going to see her for all your printing needs! read more

I would like the other reviewer prefer the Staples no Estrella, it's much cleaner. I walked in overwhelmed by the smell of Windex, it's liked someone just dumped a bottle in there. This location is okay. I walked in towards the end of the night. I was not greeted or smile that. When I found what I was looking for, all of the boxes had been torn open. Luckily the manager saved my experience by lowering the price because it was an open box. Thank you Stephanie for saving your store from getting only One star. I did not like going to register to be told that I have to walk across the store to another register at the Photo Booth. No manners for used when telling me that I had to use another register. I never knew they carried milk and I thought it was really over priced for $14.99 but then I thought maybe it's that expensive bc it doesnt have to be refrigerated. I bought some and drank it and it made me sick. 10/10 will never recommend their milk again read more
