This is one of those places that you go to only because you have to. Lately I have had a need to utilize the copy service offered here. They have implemented a new process requiring you to check in for service. This keeps your place in line and sends you text notifications about your status in line. The staff is friendly, but works slow. There did not appear to be any sense of urgency. I am certain that I waited about 20-30 min to even let the staff know what I needed. There has to be a better process. Since it took me forever to have something printed, the next time I returned I opted to use the self serve machine. This was more efficient and cost me less. You do have to use a credit card for this option. I will continue to patronize the store, because where else am I going for copy services?! read more

I have had great experience with them so far. Printing here is cheap and easy. I accidentally left my stuff on their printer and was able to pick it up right away. The cashier was also very nice. I do wish that they have more people working in the print section - during one of my visit, I just needed ONE page to print out, but I had to wait quite some time since there was an old lady who wanted to print photos in so many different ways and she held everyone back. But all in all, organized store, nice staff, and cheap printing: 10 cents for black and white and I think 50 cents for colored ... pretty good. read more

I have to admit, I was never really an Office Depot or OfficeMax girl - it was Kinko's all the way. But as Kinko's customer service steadily went the way of the dodo bird, I found myself going to OfficeMax and even Office Depot. Some of their print shop prices are so much lower than Kinko's it's insane. An oversized poster, mounted and laminated is usually only $24.95 - and my clients love those things for job fairs, trade shows, etc. Today - I ventured into this store - and it's the location near Akers Mill - south of the Cumberland Mall (thought I'd share that since there are a million on Cobb Pkwy it seems.) But I digress: Spencer was amazing. We experienced some technical issues with the actual copiers / printers, but Spencer was diligent and apologetic. He also acknowledged each customer that approached us during the crazy long time I was in there just trying to get 3 simple things printed. He was multi-tasking all over the place. I almost want to deduct a star because the copiers / printers need to be replaced - but I just can't do it, Spencer was that great. read more

I cannot believe how terrible this copy center is. Today I stopped here on my way home from work to print a one page document. Here is the conversation that I had with the young Asain guy working there: Me: Hey I just need the document on this flash drive printed and holes punched in it for a binding spring. Copy Guy: Oh I don't know how to do that. Sorry. Me: What? The machine is right there. You put the paper in and pull the lever. Copy Guy: ...Yeah sorry. Me: Can I just do it myself? Copy Guy: You might hurt yourself. Sorry. Me: Here I'll pay for you to print two copies. Then if you mess it up you can try again. Copy Guy: ...I can't. You can put in a print order and pick it up tomorrow I guess? Me: What?! It's one piece of paper I'm not going to make a second trip. Copy Guy: There's an Office Max in Kennesaw you could try. Horrible customer service. Went to get items laminated. Girl calls me up, Deoshia, but is clearly on the phone waiting on someone else. Two guys chatting at the other end of counter Nick and Jeff. Finally one of the guys, Nick, comes down to call the next customer up and I said wait she is not helping me she is on the phone. They said what do you need. I said laminating. Nick said it will be later today, I said how much later, he says later. I said forget it. I will go where people give better service. That was the local UPS store. They were awesome at UPS. Highly recommend printing needs use them. read more

there is no one walking around the store helping anyone. The staff is rude. I waited in line for 15 minutes while one lady working was chatting to her friend and the other man was dealing with some lady. Then when he was done, he helped woke lady who just walked up before me after I had been standing there. I walked out and left. Won't be giving them my business anymore. RUDE. read more

Customer service is horrible. Employee cancelled my order because he said they had it in store. Comes from the back because they didn't have any in stock. Then rolls the floor model out and offers it instead. No apology for even cancelling the order prematurely. Plus I didn't have my card to repay for my item a second time because I ran in to just pick up my chair since it was already paid for. So I ended up going on amazon and buying it cheaper. Not upset at what happened because it was a simple mistake but his attitude about wasn't pleasant at all. A simple sorry would have sufficed. read more

Everytime I go to the printing service, it is always a long wait. It shouldn't take 40 minutes for me to get 2 pages printed. Hire more people in that department. read more

Office Max does not care about customers and the fact that their "Office Max" products are defective. I purchased one of their OM ink cartridge for my HP all-in-one. It ran out of ink in 2 days - I printed less than 20 pages. I was able to exchange it for a real HP cartridge. Later, I found out that the reason it ran out of ink is because it had leaked out all in my printer. Now my printer is not working properly and I have to buy a new one. I called Office Max and they refuse to do anything to help me. So much for their products being guaranteed. I've used Office Depot for 20 years and have NEVER had any issues period, much less having one of their products ruin my printer. I'm disgusted by their lack of customer service. They should have at least given me a discount on a new machine, but he did not even apologize. Sorry excuse for a supposedly professional organization. Please do not shop there and encourage their lack of customer service. My goal is to drive them out of business. I'll be shopping at Office Depot exclusively from now on. read more
