They have implemented a new process requiring you to check in for service. This keeps your place in line and sends you text notifications about your status in line. The staff is friendly, but works slow. There did not appear to be any sense of urgency. I am certain that I waited about 20-30 min to even let the staff know what I needed. There has to be a better process. Since it took me forever to have something printed, the next time I returned I opted to use the self serve machine. This was more efficient and cost me less. You do have to use a credit card for this option. I will continue to patronize the store, because where else am I going for copy services?!

I was clearly having a difficult time and asked for some assistance. The guy at the desk yelled for a "manager" (so she calls herself). She yells back, " wait, I'm talking to someone on the phone. Clearly I can hear the whole conversation. A few mins later, she comes over and reads the notification I get. "Add paper for custom print" I only wanted to look at a different format. I told her I wanted to print a flyer that would fit in a tent and she starts going on saying "she doesn't know what I mean" so I pointed to one on the table next to us showing her exactly what I wanted. She takes me back to the print screen and says thats what I'll get. I'm thinking we're in agreeance with what I need. So I print and the picture only takes half the page. I turned to her and said this is exactly why I waited in line. I need a refund. She goes on about how I can submit a time to come in later to pick up and pay for some service and she can't issue a refund since I printed. That's unacceptable, being I called her over for help and she guided me. She goes on again about this drop off service when it would have taken 2 mins out of her time to take me through the steps and give me what I asked for. When I asked for a manager she claimed to be one. I declined the service and told her I need my refund. I mean there wasn't even a line, I'm the only customer in the print area. She gave me a refund and rips the paper up as I'm standing there. Being nasty for no reason. I am disgusted that Office Depot would put someone like her in position. I run a business and I've been in this location on Roswell rd many times and it's usually a seamless visit. I finally talk to a manager and have the worst visit yet. Who hired her??? I wouldn't!

They moved out the old furniture, mapped out the new layout, consulted us on multiple designs/options, set up the new furniture AND offered personal recommendations for other, related furniture needs. Poor customer service at the printer counter from the Print Manager…read more Was rude and extremely dismissive. I only needed to print one page and he did not want to assist me with the print. He directed me over to the self service area where only one printer was working and there was a gentleman there with bulk printing having issues. Then he tried to act like he never received my document after it was confirmed sent multiple times, all because he originally did not want to assist me with my request. This was a manager by the way! Ironically the person behind me document came through just fine. All of this simply because he just simply did not want to assist me. Made me feel like I was bothering him, I literally was only printing a one page document. I'm a reviewer of both good and bad and this review is a bad one. The theme of most of the reviews here is the condition of the store itself. It is in rough shape and is in desperate need of some type of refresh/remodel. Everything from the counters to the registers, signage and certainly the floors is scuffed, worn, stained and in rough condition. I know they haven't pumped a lot into these stores over the years, but if there is one that really needs it...it is this location! Service was friendly for the most part. I was there for printing services, but also took a stroll around the store looking for a portfolio folder. I waited in line at the printing station for about 10 minutes before being helped or acknowledged. One associate was actively helping a customer, so I get not interacting with her, but another was folding papers behind the counter but did not offer assistance or even let me know someone would be with me soon. While in line a floor associate came by and checked on me, which I thought was great. Product wise this location is stocked with all the items you are used to at an OM and has one of the most well stocked furniture sections I have seen in an OfficeMax. Overall, this is your standard OfficeMax with no major service or inventory issues. This location does need a solid revamp, but even with that if the need arises I would have no issues revisiting this location.
