I had a very disappointing experience at this UPS Store location…read more Before I even got in line, I went up to the clerk and asked if I could use their tape or if I needed to purchase some. He snickered and didn't respond. I asked again, "Does that mean I can use your tape or do I have to buy it?" He finally said I would need to buy it. So I purchased the tape and got in line. While I was taping up my boxes, I overheard him offer to tape two other women's boxes for them at no charge. That's when I became concerned about the inconsistency. When I got to the counter, I politely asked why I was required to buy tape while he offered to tape their boxes. He snickered again and refused to answer me. After snickering more times and ignoring me for several minutes. He avoided eye contact and would not respond directly to my question. I told him I was just asking for clarification and didn't understand why he wouldn't communicate with me. After repeatedly asking for an explanation, he finally said, "Those were Amazon packages." I explained that mine were Amazon packages too, but he still didn't provide a clear answer and continued to ignore me. I then asked for his name, and he refused to give it to me. In the end, he charged me $4.99 plus tax for the tape anyway. I have never experienced this level of dismissiveness and unprofessional behavior. Being ignored, snickered at, treated inconsistently in front of other customers, and then refused a name when I asked was extremely frustrating. I'm a regular customer, and this experience was very disappointing.

Hired C&F to pack and ship family heirloom furniture to TX and AZ from MD…read more The collection included About 20 pieces including a bowed front glass China cabinet, framed mirrors, tables, chairs, bookcases, and accessories in excellent condition. Overall it was an excellent experience- really impressive performance really. I've previous top- notch experience with C&F so my expectations were already high. Yet to say they super exceeded my expectations this time would still be an understatement. The pickup crew was professional which instilled confidence. Communication on shipment status was good. Their advice on how to prepare, ship, and insure was valuable.......overall, just as you'd expect from a quality organization. There was a delivery issue- not C&F's fault- yet they stepped up to take care of it. Wow! This was a big deal as it demonstrated how committed C&F was to customer satisfaction. Incredible really. Even Dave L. called afterwards to check on my satisfaction. Wow! As for value....... The quoted price was accurate, and they waaay over delivered IMO. So, I'll continue to trust C&F without any concerns. Thanks C&F I'll be back

Have only ever dropped off packages here to be sent back, mostly Amazon packages. Employees are…read morefriendly, service is quick and I'm usually in and out of this store in less than 5 minutes. Have not had the opportunity to do anything else here, but since I'm moving very close to this location soon, I'm sure I will have the opportunity to use it for shipping out packages as opposed to going to the post office. Looks like they have plenty of mailboxes if you choose to rent a P.O. Box from them. I have done so at another UPS Store location in the past and it works out very well because you are actually given a street location for and it doesn't seem like its just a P.O. Box in any old place. I see all 5 star reviews for this place, and mine is no different since every time in the store has been superb service. I look forward to utilizing this store for other needs besides just dropping off packages to be returned.

So ive used this store alot. They are nice and friendly but my experience today was ridiculous…read more I had an amazon return that didnt need a bix just a label. I went to drop it off and realized that, for some reason, i didnt get a return QR code that would allow the staff print a label. I was told that id have to email it to them (easy enough) and then the other shoe dropped - "it will cost $2.95 to print it off" The shocked look on my face must have said to the guy "wait what?" and he repeated the cost. I walked out. So i know its a franchise and i know they probably dont make anything off shipping my return back for all of their hard work (print the label, put the item in a plastic bag that amazon probably supplies them and print and slap the label on and put it in a bin. Doing the math... $2.95 for 3 minutes of work comes out to $59/hr but geeeze. If youre gonna have an agreement and be an end point for Amazon dont take it out on your customer. If i drove home (2miles, printed the label) and drove back for a total of 4 miles, at 20/miles per gallon would only be about a buck 25 at $5/gallon. So here's a customer service adage for ya... have a good experience tell 10 folks.. have a bad experience tell everyone. It could and should have been handled better

Disclaimer: I consider myself a 'customer service zealot'…read more I was in town visiting my parents, when I decided to visit some local BNI chapters while in the area. Fresh out of business cards on my drive up from Jacksonville, and had only 90 minutes before my first BNI meeting. As I walked off the mean streets of Tysons, VA, I was greeted with a hearty welcome. I was still some 20 yards from the desk,/! Who dared to exhibit true customer service skills in the year 2023? A new rival, or perhaps a 'ride or die' to join my customer service crusade?!? Quick tip: All you business owners out there - this is how you're supposed to welcome someone to your business (esp. post-covid). I responded in kind (from 20 yards out) and threw down the gauntlet: "Do you want to be a rock star" After a quick trip to Best Buy for a new laptop, I returned and asked if Andy had anything for me. His response: 'how about a box of spanking new cards?' During his reveal of said box's content (just like the ones I've HEARD are on YouTube). Uncle Mike, the proud owner of 250 sales opportunities , felt a sudden accumulation of moisture in one of his eyes, and reached this conclusion. Andy is not a rival, but indeed worthy of inclusion as a fellow customer service crusader! I've found my ride or die promotional material contact. Now it's your turn: 'come get some'! One day we'll likely have biz cards with embedded live action and audio. Geeks like me, and my spawn, can hearken back to the first time we saw the moving paintings in the halls of Hogwarts School of Magic and Wizardry. If so, here's how Andy's will probably go: https://youtu.be/xSLlZh9yelk FOLKS: Don't write reviews only when you're salty. Recognition of good or excellent service is what I like to tout.
