In most cases this is a really good store. They usually have everything you need, prices are good, people are knowledgeable, etc. Everything you want and need from an office supply store. Lately, it's be a little messy. They are either restocking shelves or cleaning stuff up. I'm not really sure. They just have a few of these carts with boxes and garbage in several places throughout the store (see pictures). Now, I'm not that snooty that I am unable to walk into a store without complaining over a few cardboard boxes laying around. Except that they are usually in the way, so in order to get by with a shopping cart or pick up something in that general area, you have to move it out of the way. That doesn't make for the best experience. That's really the only thing I have on this location. read more

I used to be a medium sized business customer who depended on OD for all my office needs. I've been a customer for over 30 years. After retiring my need for office supplies decreased dramatically, but I would still stop in for an occasional chair, or other rech purposes. The store, likely because of Amazon and Internet, purchasers, is pretty much empty during the day but for the , they seem to have adequate personnel staffing it. However lately I have unfortunately had to deal with their combined FedEx/printing kiosk, and now try to avoid it whenever possible. The last couple times that I have gone in to do a FedEx drop off an older gentleman that was working both and treated me as though it was a privilege for him to give me any of his time. Very abrupt and quite frankly rude. I watched him deal with other customers on printing services and they were treated no better. I don't know if he dislikes his job or dislikes having to deal with people. Unfortunately, it is by miles the closest store to but like this has caused me to use UPS stores, particularly the one down the road about 3 even . Their printing services were extremely convenient. The people were willing to help, and remarkably the cost was about 40% less. So I'm sorry Office Depot but you have given me no reason to return unless absolutely required. I hate to write a review based only on a part of its operation or a particular employee but when that is the only reason you use the store I feel it is both fair and appropriate. read more

I went in to ship something. I needed a box. The guy behind the counter pointed to the small shipping supplies area next to where you drop the packages off. Ok I'll go look. They didn't have what I needed. I left to go on the hunt. The kid was so rude I thought of heading down to the FedEx store on BBD near 75 but then thought of the time it would take and I figured I'm just dropping it off I can handle his attitude for a short interaction and went back in to drop my package off. I'm standing at the counter for a few minutes as he's literally meandering around behind the counter just touching the machines and OMG did he just twirl around? He knew I was there. I have no idea why tf he's being like this, all I did was ask him a question the last time I was in. Finally after he's touched all the machines he looks up and addresses me. At this point I don't even trust him with my package. All I could muster was a FU and OMG! And I walked out. Like seriously - what was that about? Typically I'm gonna give retail employees all the grace in the world - but this guy? Not a chance. I don't go there often so me saying I'll never shop there again means nothing. But really? Awful customer service. Went to pick up prayer cards for my Grandmother's funeral service. Was greeted very poorly by Alex in the print area. Had an attitude like no other and sighed and had like a "whatever" attitude when I asked him to do minor things like cut the prayer cards out. He just acted like he didn't want to be there or help anyone. Was sloppy with the work too. Not to mention this was the second go round with this store since they messed up my first order when my wife dealt with another employee that had the kind of non-caring attitude. My husband and I were there today around 3:05. Poor customer manners. No greeting, and although the store was empty the staff at the copy/print center also did not bother to greet us and were too busy with their own internal paperwork to even acknowledge us. When a female staff finally approached use and we greeted her, she ignored it and rudely answered back "how can I help you," as we were a bother to her.... we then decided to leave and do our business elsewhere...very unfriendly, rude and unprofessional. Old guy John needs to be replaced!!! I come here almost daily to print. THERE IS ALWAYS ISSUES WITH THE MACHINES. So today all 3 machines are down there was a line of 5 people it took 1 hour 23 minutes for 5 people to print less then 20 pages total. John the old guy who works behind the printer counter NEEDS TO BE TRANSFERRED ELSE WHERE. HE DOESNT KNOW HOW TO OPERATE THE COMPUTER. He is slower then slow. It really effects people who are on a time crunch. 1 hour & 23 minutes is 17 minutes EACH PERSON & on average they only printed 1-2 pages. He stares at the screen for very long and doesn't know anything he's doing. He asked " Leo " many many times how to do things it's honestly UNBELIEVABLE. There is a young girl glasses and acne. Was very annoyed with a customer prior to me. Basic questions irritated her and made customers as they were stupid. I had two questions and treated me the same way. Another customer asked for help to make double sided copies and came to assist him by setting printer harshly and frustrated. I had one more question regarding printing off my phone and was very rude! I told her that I'm sorry in very nice manner but she stood and looked me with a condescending manner. Honestly, what is the point of doing curbside pick up when you end up having to go inside to ask for it? Checked in online, waited 20+ minutes, called the number and no answer. if I have no stars, I would definitely do so. Natalie the store assistant manager has no control over her employees what so ever. An employee decided not to cut the laminate just because she doesn't have time. when I asked for the store manager, which has 3 more employees doing nothing in the store, she agreed with me, yet decided to ask me to come back in an hour or two just because her employee said so. I asked for escalation point, which she refused in the beginning to give me any information. Then threaten me that they have the right of no servicing me because I am asking for my rights. I rarely need to use their printing services but they always do a great job. I recently placed an order online for curbside pickup. I received an email notifying me that my item was ready. I had the option to select curbside or in-store pickup. I chose curbside. It said an associate will be out shortly. 15 minutes later no one arrived. I assumed they were busy so I decided to go inside. However, there were no lines at the counter. My item was still on the shelf. I understand this is a nice service offered due to covid-19. However, I was very dissatisfied with the service. The ladies seem like they had no idea I notified the store for curbside pickup. Hope this service will improve for other customers. Lady behind the counter was pleasant and professional. Took care of all in a timely manner. This area is where they print and laminate items for customers and seemed to be well organized. When I turned around she actually initiated a verbal altercation with me in front of other customers. Really confusing as to why she decided to pick on me while I was leaving. I have grown to really appreciate doing business in this store despite the challenges. I would have to say it's not the floor mangers or employees that pose the most challenge when visiting this establishment. A overhaul of the way the customer is helped, especially in copy and print area is much needed. I believe the people there do an excellent job with the work area of space given them. It's not even that it's messy, it's just not efficient and it compromises business for those that need help fast, quick and efficient manner. The people that work there are wonderful. I brought my laptop to this location - the "Tech Department" because I was having intermittent problems with it booting up. I left my laptop there for over a week. They finally called me & told me I needed a new hard drive & the price was going to be app. $400. I picked up my laptop, took it to a friend, who told me that my hard drive was NOT bad...it was loose. One of the screws was missing. I drove straight back to Office Depot & they we're VERY defensive, saying (basically) that they don't know what they're doing & that they send everything "out" to a subcontractor. No apologies...just attitude. I droce over to Best Buy (Geek Squad), they screwed the hard drive in for me, & they we're very nice. Bottom line:. Horrible customer service at the printing counter. Was there 2/3 tote printing done. Was having trouble emailing job to counter. Instead of trying to help the young man behind the counter said there was nothing he could do to help. Refused to even like at phone to attempt to help.mid question from me he turned to other customers and offered to help them. It was obvious he did not want to go out of his way at all. Finally I walked out. Went to UPS store that completed my printing job (over $100 job) in les than 20 minutes. They went out of their way to help. I refuse to patronize this business ever again. Ask an associate for help finding items to save time. They were very helpful. The chain offers a teacher discount program, but it's 10% off copies, prints, and laminating, which I can do at school for free. Items purchased earn you monthly points, which in turn save you money. However, I find it's more cost effective to order through your school with a purchase order because you will save more. read more

It's been a few weeks but I will never be back, at least to this location. I went in around 6:30. I had 400 sheets of paper that had the American Flag printed on it. All I wanted done was to have four words and lines copied onto them. I had the other paper all ready. All the employee had to do was load my flag paper into the paper drawer and put the other sheet onto the scanner. I was told it would take at least a day to complete it. There was one customer at the counter, he was doing what he needed himself. The employee was not working on anything else, that I saw. He was standing at the counter. None of the machines were being used at the time. I asked why it would take so long. I could not get a clear answer. It wouldn't be done til the following evening, it might done that evening but it could take hours, just wasn't sure how long it would take. I told him I didn't mind waiting, even if it took an hour. Nope, couldn't be bothered. I drove about 15 minutes south to Staples and was in and out within 30 minutes. It was a very simple request. There was only one color on the page. Black. I needed 4 words and lines, all black, copied onto the flag paper. It was not something that needed to be babysat, load the paper into the drawer and scanner, enter quantity, and hit print. The guy just didn't want to be bothered. Extremely dissatisfied. read more
