Well I made the mistake of dropping off an iPhone I was returning through Apple for trade in credit. Pre-packaged and labeled up by Apple. Brought it here to mail and a month later nothing. These people allow the USPS to come in and take mail without scanning it so they say. Therefore my package can't be tracked by the number because this store supposedly gave it to USPS without having them scan it. I actually think one of their clerks stole it. I will never mail anything out from this place ever again read more

Took an Amazon return here today and was told they needed a printed label for it. It cost $2.50 to print one page. Told them that seems excessive but she said you have to factor in the cost of toner, etc. No way it costs $2.50 to print one page. We feel taken advantage of but had no choice. Will try to take all Amazon returns to Kohls in the future - they are much nicer to deal with. read more

These guys are great!!!! Super knowledgeable and efficient. They knock out a long line fast! Anything I need mailed and all Amazon returns are sent from this store. I live in a community nearby and when I saw the original UPS store at Sunlake closed I was disappointed. I started going to another on/off 54 but was not pleased with their customer service. I brought an Amazon return in and was told, rudely, "we don't handle Amazon returns." I noticed, not too long ago, the Sunlake location reopened under new owner/management. Joe Ann and Jessica were great. I was not doing an Amazon return but needed something shipped. During our conversation Jessica indicated we do take Amazon returns. She also let me know the difference using USPS cost to UPS. I thought that was nice of her to do that. There wasn't that much difference but based on previous experiences with USPS it would not have mattered what the charge was . My future go to will be with privately owned .....UPS, Sunlake instead of the postal service. read more

Why 4 stars? This spot has great ownership, always friendly and happy to help. Convenient location and even has mailboxes if you need a local address and not a PO Box. They go out of there way to help find the best shipping option for you and I have never had a issue with tracking or losing a package. Highly recommend! read more

HUGE TURN AROUND at this location. Under previous ownership, store operating hours and service were unpredictable at best. Had to do some Amazon returns and Jo-Ann was professional and VERY pleasant! My recommendation is to read and follow the Amazon Return instructions before coming to the store, as UPS will have to charge you for labels or boxing if customers don't follow Amazon's instructions. Customers are rating this store poorly because they are not following the return instructions. That's on Amazon, not the UPS Store. read more

The location of this UPS store is great. It is in a strip center with Publixs and Beef O' Brady's. The store was very clean and organized. They has some extra office supplies you could purchase as well as cards. This is also a nice convenience. There were 2 employees working when I went in. A girl and a guy. The girl associate welcomed me into the store and asked how she could help. The gentleman just looked at me and didn't speak. Overall it's convenient. I wanted to rate this store a zero, but it doesn't allow it. I dropped off a package to be deliver on December 26, I was told that it will arrived on January 2. I tracked this package and it just showing it being dropped off to the this store, that date, and time. January 5th, I tracked again and it still shown the same thing. I came directly to the store and asked about it, the guy told me to call the customer service number because the package is no longer there and he didn't even care to go back and look for it. He said that the person that pick up my package did not scan the tracking. I called to the customer service and the lady told me that even if it's not scan there when it was picked up, when it arrived somewhere, someone would scan it, but it was never scanned. I'm sure someone in that store stole that package! So then I have no choice but have to do the lost package claim. Now is January 12th and it still have not arrived. PLEASE DO NOT MAIL ANYTHING HERE!!!!!!!!!! I wish whoever stole that package choked and died! read more

I have never had a problem with this location until the other day. I went in to mail 3 legal size envelopes (no padding, just an envelope) with 1 piece of paper in each. The new boy they have (cannot remember his name) first has ZERO personality and is soooo slow. He weighted the envelope and proceeded to tell us it was $10.29. I said I wanted to just mail the evelope, nothing special and he again told me that the $10.29 was the cheapest cost. After telling him that I was not an idiot and there is no way it cost this much, he came back with a little over a dollar. REALLY, what the hell are they trying to do, uncharge to make money. I will just go to the post office for now on if this is the type of people that are being hired and trained to rip people off. read more

Unfortunately I had to leave one star when in actuality they deserve zero stars. My family and I sarcastically refer to this UPS location as UPStupid. If there was anything closer, whether UPS, FedEx etc I would go there in a heartbeat. The employees are basically brain dead and cannot perform basic functions and the manager is just as bad, here are a few highlights of my experiences over the last few months. - Went in one morning early and ask if they laminate, they said yes but it would be 30 minutes, I asked why so long and they said they had to let the laminate machine heat up. I said fine that I would stop back in a few hours, stopped back in and they said "Oh, sorry we forgot to turn it on" My initial thought was why is it not turned on at the start of the day so its always ready? - Overheard employee asking the manager how to attach a document to an email...LOL - Walked in to find the manager and employee struggling to load paper into a printer...LOL - Employees could not figure out how to scan a document to a USB - Because it is UPStupid we called ahead to ask if a Notary was available which is a service they offer, but the one guy was out sick.....wouldn't you have a Notary available at all times ? I wish I would have written this sooner because I know I am forgetting things. Anyways, if you have time to waste and are looking for comic relief this is your place, if you are looking to get in and out with efficient service find somewhere else. read more

It's been a couple of months since my experience at this location (I'm fairly new to Yelp). I went in with a job application that I wanted to send next day delivery. I had the address provided by the employer (which did not contain a street address, only a building and zip code). The owner waited on me and turned me away saying they couldn't send my package without a street address. No offer to Google it or try to figure it out. I went to the US post office who did offer help and discovered that the prospective employer (a university) had a zip code of their own and thus a street address was unnecessary. I couldn't imagine that a package delivery company would turn anyone away wanting to mail a ....package. Poor customer service! read more

I dropped by last week about 4:30 p.m. (store hours on website are until 7:00 p.m.) there was a handwritten note on the door saying they had to close early. I checked other reviews (not Yelp) and found several people have had the same problem for several weeks now. Not only does it give this specific store a bad reputation, it gives UPS a bad rap. Either change your store hours, or have your store manned during posted hours. read more

Be very careful as they fail to tell you everything. I paid for a international package and the person told me I can track the package which is incorrect they can only track until Miami. The package has been lost for two weeks and when I called the guys said call USPS because that who they handed it to and they hand to the mail in the other country. I asked about the tracking and he said you decide to go with the cheaper shipping. Pretty much telling me oh well if I would have paid more he would have cared. Package would have still gone in the same method. POOR customer service because I was told that I could track the package. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. read more

I have a box at this store where I receive mail and the staff there have been great! They email me whenever I get mail or a package, and I can even call them to ask if it is junk mail or real mail. They are always friendly and helpful. They will also put items in my box that are dropped off by clients. I have been using their services for well over a year and have no complaints! read more
