Went in to get a card to have my mail forwarded while I was out of the country. Though they are…read moresupposed to have these cards out on the counters, there were none to be found. The line for the counters was literally out the door with probably over 20 people in it. I did not try to butt into line but just asked politely if the cards were available. The counterperson snapped at me to get back in line! I have bad knees and gout. I only wanted a simple 2 second answer. His attitude was terrible and I have noted that below there are also comments about this person since he does the passports. Luckily, an elderly lady heard my request and she asked the person assisting her to give her the application card which she gave to me. She was also upset with this man's attitude. I have seen it before. I filled out the form and took it down the road to a small village that has another post office. There was just one person working there and she said she KNEW who I was referring to and that she has worked in Zephyrhills in the past and that this guy was well known for treating customers and colleagues in a rude and curt manner. I felt much better knowing that it was just me. When I next to to the post office, I will make sure I do not have to deal with this sad representative of the USPS. Shame on him and on them.

Plenty of parking but it does get busy. They offer a kiosk to purchase stamps and weigh packages for shipment. They also offer mailboxes for rent at this location.

If you have a problem, they genuinely want to help you solve it and do everything they can to get things sorted out. I had an issue with the forwarding address I set up get confused with return to sender and was therefore receiving none of my mail. Within 5 minutes the very kind woman at the desk had her supervisor on the phone and he was correcting the issue. Beyond amazing post office and post office employees!!

We talked tats & everything random. Of course I was the only customer in this adorable tiny post office. There are two service registers, but I'm unsure if there were two employees on the clock. I noticed the newer (& larger) available PO Boxes outside for those wanting to pick up their mail after hours. If only all postal experiences could go this smoothly:) Here's to the benefits of small town, old fashioned service! UPDATE: A Hong Kong Amazon contractor ("Betty" from Tennessee-- lol) would not refund me the $40 I spent on a counterfeit fabric shower curtain. I stupidly had not insured the return package, but I did lose the receipt. Catherine, head postal worker here, went through 3 days of receipts to locate my initial transaction, & (without me asking) gave me a printed copy of it & proof my package was received two days after I mailed it. She was happy to help. What other post office will do that for a customer? Yes, I am impressed w/ this small town service center!
