The floors were in very bad shape but the worse part was the bathrooms. It looks like they are never cleaned. Very poor management because even if there isn't a budget or out of their hands to get new floors, it's is in their hands to have a clean bathroom. I've been to cleaner gas station bathrooms than this. It was very surprising to see just how bad it was.

Might have to hunt up help or a cashier sometimes since they are never busy with maybe 4 cars in the parking lot at any time. The store is still the same size as when it first opened in the heyday of the big box office supply stores many years ago and they haven't closed yet so there must be something more than our business keeping them going. Maybe supplying state government since these big box office supply folks ran all the locals out of business when they first opened.

I don't fault them for that, and I appreciate the excellent customer service and communication throughout the process. There was one mishap where they were supposed to have texted me or called to let me know when my laptop was ready instead of emailed, but it's not a big deal. I appreciate it also that the staff were still being safe and wearing masks, plus there were other protocols in place including protective barriers. From the little bit of interaction I had, they appear to be savvy, professional, and compassionate. I definitely recommend them and will return if I need their services.

They did an initial assessment and told us they would attempt a transfer of data to our new computer, which we also brought in. We got a call and were told everything went well and we could take our items home. Upon further investigation at home, we discovered they had transferred info from someone else's computer to our new computer (It was password protected, so all we saw was the sign in name). Fortunately, they had not transferred our private data to someone else's computer! After wiping out the data that had been transferred in error, we were told our computer and back-up were ruined and no data could be salvaged. They refunded our money and said we could try mailing the hard drive to a recovery company but that would cost at least $1000. We decided to take everything to "Mac and More" for a second opinion. They were able to transfer everything from the back-up to the new computer and in just a couple days, we had our new computer back. If we had listened to Florida Pro, we would have lost thousands of photos and documents.

Update. After…read moregetting nowhere with Leita on the phone, I filed complaints with entities concerning ethical business practices. One entity (The Better Business Bureau/BBB), mailed a letter to the business listing my complaint. Upon receipt of the letter Leita told me that I was wrong, that they were not holding my printer hostage for more money and that I can come get it anytime. She took it a step further to imply that I had not done enough to communicate my dissatisfaction with the situation stating that if I had called them (again?) to complain (again?) that they would have no problem letting me pick up my printer. Later that afternoon I picked up my printer, John and Leita were adversarial and neither took responsibility for what had transpired and neither apologized. I don't get why people would run their business like this - I was treated like I unconvinced them in some way.

A great computer repair shop!…read more Honestly, no one wants to have to visit a computer repair shop. It's the last resort after hours of banging on your keyboard in frustration and praying that one more reboot does the trick, followed by haggling with your manufacturer only to learn your warranty has expired (this is definitely not talking from experience). Yet, I do appreciate that we have a good repair place in town that is there in the hour of need. I scheduled an appointment online (but drop-ins seem to be fine too) and ended up with a faulty harddrive that needed replacing (thanks for nothing Microsoft Updates!). A couple days later and everything was good as new, but my wallet sadly a little lighter. I would definitely recommend Computer Repair Doctor, but still hope that I never have to visit again under similar circumstances!
