After almost a year, I decided to finally get my degree and license framed. Hobby Lobby was my place of choice as I'd previously gotten my sorority membership certificate framed at a different location. I stopped by one day and discussed the many options with the person working in the framing area and decided to go with a custom frame so that both my degree and license could match. The estimated turn-around time was about 3 weeks. On the promised date, I happened to be shopping nearby and decided to call to check on my order. It was ready, however, no one notified me.... -- anyway -- I went in and retrieved my items and was very pleased with the outcome. I tried placing an online order several times and several different ways and kept receiving the same error message. After many attempts I reached out to their customer service department and got in the callback queue line for help after 5 hours of no callback I decided to call again and got ahold of someone within 5 minutes. I mentioned no one had called me back yet and was given an excuse that they do callback and people don't answer the phone. I informed the guy of my issue and told him I had a different billing address than the one I was trying to ship to, and I was informed this will trigger their security system and block the online order. I explained how ridiculous this was especially if I was trying to send a gift to a distance family/friend. The guy was able to see my order, and we changed the shipping address to the billing one and he informed me I would get an email around noon the next day with the order confirmation. I did not, and instead I got an email that morning telling me I would have to go into the store to purchase said items. The items were out of stock at my local store, so I was not able to purchase the items. I informed them of my disappointment in the way they "resolved" this issue as I have made many orders for my church where the billing address was a PO BOX and I had it shipped to my personal address and never had any issues. They did not respond to my email of disappointment or answer my questions. Now I am unable to purchase anything online, even as a guest because it will give me the same error no matter what. I tried purchasing as a guest and using the same address as the billing and still received the error message. In today's world it is great to have a secure checkout but one that completely blocks you like this is ridiculous as sometimes it is easier for me to purchase online vs. going into the store. I am not an "arts and crafts" person, which is what I think of when I think of this store; but it is so much more! I actually went in to find some items to decorate my dining table and was just so excited about all the "stuff" on hand. I ended up purchasing several other "unique" items that I hadn't seen anywhere else. Definitely worth my time; nice/friendly staff who certainly don't mind carrying bigger items out to your vehicle. What an amazing place to shop! Fun, friendly associates who do their best to assist even the grumpiest of customers. Yes you, Ms. I-need--to-return-$500-worth-of-product-without-a-receipt (some of which came from Michael's) and then b!t(h out the CSM for not bending to your whims! No I'm not an employee but I am a business owner who purchases from HL regularly. You guys need to be ashamed of your childlike fit throwing tantrums! Go shop at the dollar store or your local landfill and let us happy customers remain in HL shopping in paradise without you. Great store with clean and organized isles and equally clean bathrooms. I just have to come on here and shoutout the lady that works in fabric. She was SO helpful for my first time buying fabric, helping me pick out the material I needed and how much I should buy. Crowded on Saturday and everything looks like a Pinterest project. 66% off clearance, found basic black picture frames for $1.20 - the plain black part is a rarity. The home decor items are already embellished with trendy patterns, so it caters to specific style preference. My friend took me here and she grabbed ideas from the decor to make herself at home. Royalty Free/Hold Music Hymnals play on the overhead. No smiles from the staff This would be a great place to pickup made up po-faced cat ladies. Maybe it's b/c everyone there is determined to find something, but nobody was pleasant, not even our cashier. I tried to chat her up & she loosened up a bit. I don't like spending money in places where the employees don't seem pleased to be there. I won't be going back (for myself), there wasn't anything there to bring me back. read more

I came to this Hobby Lobby last month with my mother-in-law and two sisters-in-law while in town visiting. I'm embarrassed to admit that I hadn't been in a Hobby Lobby store since I was a young child! I felt like I was discovering a whole new retail experience. I did a lot of browsing - and maybe just wasn't in a shopping mood that day - but did not make a purchase. Yes, part of the problem was that I had to fit everything into a little suitcase and onto an airplane to get it home, but the other part was that the Hobby Lobby aesthetic is very kitschy. Lots of plaques with sayings on them, inexpensive holiday decor, etc. I personally thought some of the best finds were art supplies, baskets, and picture frames. It is definitely a very large store - I kept losing my family members - and it did become a bit overwhelming with the sheer volume of stuff inside after a while. read more

For those of creative minds...those that are crafty and those that like to decorate....Hobby lobby is your place! Hobby lobby has something for everyone; for any occasion. There are tons of departments ranging from home decor, frames, crafts, hobbies, fabric, sewing materials, scrapbook, floral, wedding, art, yarn, beads, and party supplies. The variety is great and the prices are even greater. Hobby lobby has a weekly ad and there always seems to be a good sale. I will say that most of the home decor styles are "modern" and "trendy" but not to the point where they can't compliment other decorating styles. The store was not too crowded and the staff seemed knowledgeable. The checkout process was simple and I did not have to wait that long in line. Although the location is not central to the city, it is not a bad drive from any direction and definitely worth the drive. It should be noted that these type of stores often take patience as there is SO MUCH going on and so much to choose from but with a little help from one of those knowledgeable staff members, you are bound to find what you are looking for. read more

Can get just about whatever I need for holiday decor, party supplies, crafting and painting! Love it!

I came here to get jewelry making stuff. The older woman that I'm assuming runs the jewelry section kept cussing about how things were out of place. Like out right talking to herself and a coworker loudly. On top of this. While looking in the knob section, I was near a few crates of stock. An employee came up and snatched the basket up and scraped it up my leg. Didn't even say anything like excuse me as she got this close to me. Rude employee. Also, they don't have a regular register, they just have to manually type prices in and they don't actually know what's on sale so things were just randomly discounted. One thing wasn't even rung up but then the cashier double charged me on something else. read more

I love the products sold at Hobby Lobby, but they could make your shopping experience so much better. They don't scan your items and the clerks have to manually look at the weekly add to determine what is on sale. At least half of the time, when I check my receipt they have not given me the sale price on something, then I have to stand in line again to get it corrected. This is 2019. Who doesn't have a scan system? Also, they use the intercom system entirely too much and it is very LOUD. I can't even think when I'm in there. I know HL is a Christian organization and I would enjoy hearing Christian music played while shopping, but they play funeral songs. Why not play something upbeat? Don't even think about going in there on Thursdays. That's when they get a new shipment in. They have boxes everywhere and the clerks that are putting out the new inventory are all in your way and you can't even get down the aisle they are on. read more

Would give zero stars if I could. Customer service was terrible, they messed up and then refused to fix their mistake.

Always sales and always something to buy. Nicely set up and browse worthy. I go here when Im in one of my creative moods.
