A bit small compared to other locations of this chain, but it'll do…read more This B&N is pretty standard. It has your Starbucks café inside, as well as your customer service desk, children's area, and the like. I passed by this past weekend to get some books. Lately I've been obsessed with the Bridgerton books, and well, it being Tallahassee, it made much more sense to get them at a bookstore over Amazon. Much quicker! Not to mention, too, that they recently changed their membership program, and being the bibliophile that I am, you know I'm a member. I should also add that their app is super convenient in that it tells you if they have books available. You can also order them for pick-up, but I chose to go there instead and peruse. I somehow limited myself to what I went for, but I admittedly was tempted to purchase a book by Isabel Allende. Next time I'm sure, next time.

I didn't have a problem at all finding and purchasing the book I wanted and the cashier was super nice. My issue was with the person in the cafe, hence the 2-star rating. My plan was to have a slice of quiche and start on my book. I stood at the counter for longer than I thought was necessary. The person behind the counter was making a coffee for another customer and when done, called the customer to pick up the order. Then the person proceeded to prepare another order, I assume for the folks who were sitting down waiting. Not once was I acknowledged; she walked past me at least twice without saying a word, not even eye contact. I was totally bemused! It was if I was invisible! Needless to say, after a while, I just walked out. No more cafe' visits for me! Subpar customer service at best. :-(

This wasn't exactly on my list of places to go to. I typically only go to Goodwill to donate goods,…read morebut after a girlfriend praised this store (and to boot so did a colleague), I opted to go. As it turns out, this location is a bookstore paradise for those of us who enjoy reading. They have just about everything, including children's books in foreign languages. Admittedly this last bit is niche, but given that I serve this population in my profession, it's a godsend. Moreover, they also have popular books, nonfiction and fiction alike. I scored a copy of The Casual Vacancy for $3.99, which I thought was a great deal, as typically anything by J.K. Rowling is close to $20. I say this as I wonder which of my Harry Potter books my little cousin has and I need to declare lost and purchase again. Anyway, point is this Goodwill is a winner. I have to make sure to stay away or I'll wind up with even more books and I already have way too many as it is, and unfortunately for me, I don't always have the time to read them all.

On certain days they have deep discounts. They also have puzzles, music, various electronics and more. Walked away with a happy wife with a ton of books and a set of computer speakers for myself for less then $20.00. Will become a favorite of my wife for sure. If she's happy! Keep up the good work!
