I also like the scented candles; seems that they are all very different as well; don't think I've ever gotten the same type of candle twice, lol. In any case, I decided to give this review because I have noticed that each time I purchase something, I am asked if I am a rewards member. I think at some point, I must have become a member because once I give my phone number, they assure me I am a member. Though I visit this store sporadically, I asked the cashier this time about the benefit of being a reward member in that I have never received any "extra" discount or points or whatever the purpose/goal is for being a reward member. The young lady who rang me up, who was quite nice by the way, said that she was still new - so I guess she didn't have a clue about the rewards either. In any case, I will still continue to patronize this store. I think going forward though, I just won't bother to tell them I am a rewards member; if asked if I would like to become one, maybe I will ask about the benefits of joining, or perhaps I will just pass. :o)

I was surprised by JCPenney's selection of stylish clothing because the store itself is so old. There was a line for the fitting rooms and some of the interior decor seems outdated.
