When I arrived, I was addressed by a woman that worked there who looked at my frames and told me "Sorry we cannot take these frames they have no pictures in them? " When I explained to her that I had received an email that instructed me to drop them off I was told the same answer and tried to tell me my frames which are churchill classics and in excellent condition were not going to be worth it for them to sell. I told her if that was the case I should have been told that before I drove all the way to the other side of town to bring them in. She tried to tell me that the email I had was some generic email that they send to everyone to bring them in. I had even sent a photo. I told her that answer was unacceptable, and I told her you are one of the rudest people I have ever met before I left. I would not recommend this place to anyone based on my horrible experiences. Do not shop here or sell your things here if this is how they treat people. It cost money to drive from one side of town to the other these days and you don't need to waste your money.

I am extremely disappointed with Havertys and the extended warranty I purchased through Guardsman…read more The ONLY reason I paid extra for that warranty was because I was told it covered damage from pets. After a recent storm, my dog became anxious and scratched three of the cushions pretty badly. I followed the process, contacted Guardsman, scheduled a service call--and then waited over 40 days just to be told the damage wasn't covered. Completely unacceptable. I reached back out to Jay at Havertys, who has been great throughout this, and I truly appreciate his effort to help. However, the resolution offered was insulting. Instead of repairing or replacing the damaged cushions--or standing behind the warranty I was sold--they refunded $280 and gave me a store gift certificate. I have zero interest in shopping at Havertys again, so that gift certificate is basically useless to me. You can't replace a $2,400 sectional with a $280 credit. For a single person on one income, that couch was a major investment, and I trusted that the warranty would protect it--especially for the exact situation they claimed it covered. If you're going to sell a warranty, then stand behind it. Don't mislead customers just to make an extra sale. I love my couch, but I will never do business with Havertys again. If I could give zero stars for service, I would.

This place is dangerous for your wallet because there are way too many pretty things to buy! I've gone there twice now. On my first visit, I spent hours in there with my friend and neighbor. We were nearly there until closing time on a Sunday. We left with bags of food, alcohol, and with memberships that we signed up for with cashier Lucy's help. The second time I went, I mainly went to buy a gift card for the same friend and neighbor who accompanied me before as it was her birthday. I brought a companion, and well, we also wound up buying more food and alcohol. Admittedly this store has more than that, having furniture and what not, but the food and alcohol are what gets you. There is so much variety. You will find obscure products here, like Vegemite for the Aussies or more common stuff like different flavors of pocky for those loving Asian goodies. Heck, I found madeleines imported from France, which I repeatedly get told aren't dry like the American ones, and after having them, I must concur. You don't know what you're missing until you have it. That said, I'm shocked it took me so long to go to this place. The piece was damaged when I received it. I was told it would be replaced but wasn't. I did have someone come to replace my new ottoman that had a tip upon arrival, with a used ottoman that was in worse shape and smelled horrible. It was delivered out the back of a dirty SUV blaring loud music at 10pm. I had multiple issues with trying to get pieces replaced or returned. Many times the showroom blamed the delivery driver which I knew wasn't true because I was in communication with the delivery driver. They also charge the delivery drivers time for returns so the mistakes of the sales get passed off to the drivers in pay. The bed was never even delivered as it had not come when expected so I cancelled delivery and had to go through my credit card company to get refunded. I never imagined that after purchasing furniture I would spend nearly half a year trying to get it right. I eventually gave up as it was so frustrating and gave the sectional away to a college student.

They are closed Monday and Tuesdays but you can visit the website and call in and ask if the model is available. The turn around time seemed much shorter. Great and helpful customer service!
