They did an initial assessment and told us they would attempt a transfer of data to our new computer, which we also brought in. We got a call and were told everything went well and we could take our items home. Upon further investigation at home, we discovered they had transferred info from someone else's computer to our new computer (It was password protected, so all we saw was the sign in name). Fortunately, they had not transferred our private data to someone else's computer! After wiping out the data that had been transferred in error, we were told our computer and back-up were ruined and no data could be salvaged. They refunded our money and said we could try mailing the hard drive to a recovery company but that would cost at least $1000. We decided to take everything to "Mac and More" for a second opinion. They were able to transfer everything from the back-up to the new computer and in just a couple days, we had our new computer back. If we had listened to Florida Pro, we would have lost thousands of photos and documents.
