I haven't darkened the doors here in a long time because I finally stopped chasing the latest in technology but my wife is still hooked on printing lots of stuff so we at least use them for printer ink and paper. Plus once a year she gets our tax software here. They get our business because they offer a credit for recycling ink cartridges and that helps keep down the cost for ink. Service is usually ok. Might have to hunt up help or a cashier sometimes since they are never busy with maybe 4 cars in the parking lot at any time. The store is still the same size as when it first opened in the heyday of the big box office supply stores many years ago and they haven't closed yet so there must be something more than our business keeping them going. Maybe supplying state government since these big box office supply folks ran all the locals out of business when they first opened. read more

I wouldn't give this store 1 star. I placed an order and got a call it was ready to be picked up. When i got there, they could not find my order. Was supposed to have a SUP call me the next day, never got the call. I called them and was put on hold for 1 hour and finally hung up. In store very rude and unprofessional. Dude male employee yelled at departing customer 3X to come back and clean his mess!!! I go there only if needed. Today 4/4/25 @. 2:15 I witnessed lack of training by one of the employees in the printing and shipping area. A gentleman was trying to print something and as I entered he threw up his hands in frustration. Looked around for help. Apparently this had gone on for sometime. I guess he printed something but left some cut paper and a pair of scissors on the printer. It wasn't much at all. Not even a handful of paper strips. From what I gathered the employee yelled out to him as he left the store. Asked the gentleman if he was gonna.clean up his mess? The gentleman replied "after you treated me like an ass, no". The employee asked him three times loud enough so that everyone heard. The employee should not have yelled at the man or even asked I him to come back and clean up. Employee should have kept his mouth shut. His behavior was unacceptable and unprofessional. Black Male with long dreads. But tried three times to call them. 13 minutes of hold time total before I gave up. Even spread calls out with 1 hr, then 30 m then another 30 m wait. No answer!!!! None. I ordered some copies online and stopped by the store to pick them up. The young man in the copy center was exceptionally helpful and had a great attitude. That is so rare and today's retail. I shared that with him in the store and encouraged them to keep it up. Well done Staples store manager. You can tell the culture there is about Customer Service. Very happy with my most recent business with Staples. Nate offered superior service when I was in a last-minute bind. I purchased a poster and a stack of 250 business cards for under 50 bucks. They close early on the weekend so make sure you pay attention to the store hours. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to use them again for my marketing needs. read more

I have to say that I was in the store for about 30 minutes and no one stopped to ask me if I needed assistance. A real turn off. Although I went to just look around and didn't have a real reason to visit, it still would of been nice to be greeted and assured that I would have help. I did find when I arrived that I was intrigued with planners and how they have made them so creative. I will probably go back and pick one and try to start keeping up with my schedule etc with a new creative and unique planner with the essential stickers, tapes and additions. read more

I love this Staples. The associates are so helpful even when your asking a ton of questions. Dakota at the printing desk is sooo helpful. It wouldn't print my receipt and she stopped what she was doing just to help!! I had already asked her a bunch of questions and she still was so thoughtful!! This location is AWESOME. I went in to make some copies, but was able to check out what's on sale. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and was offered help. They had a good bit of items on sale. The store was quite neat, clean, and well organized (and parking lot too). They were COVID ready for the next customer with hand sanitizer in many areas in the print center. Luke was my associate and he was great! read more

I went in to get a 9 X 12 inch color copy. The girl took forever to adjust the size on their computer and after about 15- 20 minutes gave me the copy. I asked if it was 9 X 12 and she said yes. I asked for a ruler it was 10.5 X 14. I asked her to redo it and she took a lot of time and then said that this is correct. It was 10 X 13. This error laced behavior was not as bad as the attitude that was exhibited of apathy and resentment. In other words,the level of professionalism and prompt, courteous service didn't even exist. I had a great experience with Luke, an employee at Staples today. I went in looking for ink for a newly purchased printer. Luke was help in ensuring that I was getting the best deal. He showed me other printer options to remind me that my printer purchase was a smart one and price checked the ink online which saved me a couple bucks. I wanted to take a moment to give a shout-out to Staples Copy Center! They are so fast and efficient -- orders are always ready sooner than expected -- and everything is always 100% correct. The gentleman who works there, G, is just a really nice person. He knows both my husband and me by sight and has our orders ready when he sees us walking in. One time, I needed ink, and he ran back and got it for me. Such service! There are great perks to ordering from the copy center, too, using your card. Staples = Office Max **greater-than-symbol-here-if-Yelp-would-let-me** Office Depot. Meaning that I like Office Max and Staples equally well and Office Depot is a royal bummer. Ok, that was confusing. Staples is great. They always have hat I need, from ink cartridges to well-built pre-fab furniture. Keep an eye out for sales. I got a very high quality bookcase on clearance, originally nearly $200, for LESS than $20 (TWENTY).!! That's cheaper than Walmart and this thing won't disintegrate when you bump into it like a "Great Value" bookcase might. Customer service is friendly, but like all office stores, it isn't plentiful. They have special areas for computer service and a print shop. Clearly they are oriented towards corporate customers who have a Staples account (why else sell coffee and toilet paper?) but your Average Joe like my can find much of value at Staples too. A useful tidbit: Their photo lab machines DO NOT accept USB drives, whereas those at some stores, like CVS, do. "That Was Easy" Just thought I'd throw that in there. read more

I left this location very upset and frustrated. I went in with my broken laptop because I bought it from there only 4 months ago. The computer repair technician was very condescending and generally unhelpful. He wore a patronizing smirk the entire time and when I asked questions his tone suggested he was speaking to a child. He suggested I buy a new computer entirely and mocked me when I mentioned that I didn't have enough money in my bank account. In the end I had to call another company, who managed to solve my problem in just thirty minutes. read more

This review is specific to the Copy and Print service at Staples on N. Monroe. I just wanted to say that I have gone there multiple times over the last several years with a whole range of projects - huge projects for work with multiple tabbed binders, color and b&w projects for school, and lots of stuff for the home business. It seems that no matter who I work with, they always manage to do a great job without any hassle. The only thing that keeps them from a 5-star is that they can't do things that Kinko's can do like print custom tabs, etc. Give 'em a try! read more

I place an order for a laptop but apparently the price was way to good to be true, because within minutes Staples decided to cancel the order, and now the product is not available and they can not honor the price for another one. I went there to look a purchasing an ergonomic keyboard and track ball mouse. They didn't have one on display that i could see how it felt. I asked an associate if he would open it so I can look at it. He started to open it and then asked me how much it was. I looked at the tag on the shelf and told him $129. He then asked me if I was definitely going to buy it. I told him it depends on if I like it. He really didn't want to open it so I said nevermind and left.
