This place is great. You can't get 5ft in the door without being asked if you can be helped. It goes beyond that too - they take you to what you are looking for and talk you through the project to make sure you have the right item for the task at hand. Staff is really pleasant too. They go out of their way to bring service back to the shopping experience, from taking items to your car to filling propane tanks and taking them back to your car, it is truly full service here. read more

This store is like your old home town hardware store. They have everything and will sell you one washer or bolt, if that's all you need. I purchased two washers for 9 cents each. Of course I found some other items I needed as well. They have many knowledgeable (yes, knowledgeable!) staff members to help you find what you need - NO hunting down help only to find out the associate knows only about as much as you do or less. They know that kind of service creates loyal customers that will continue to return. Plus, they have a great selection of traditional and current products. They retain a business model that you rarely see these days - quality service and customer satisfaction! I can't say enough great things about my experience! One thing to note: the directions I received from the main Ace Hardware site were incorrect. Although the listed address was correct, the map and written directions lead you off of Kerry Forest Parkway on to Wellington Dr. After wandering around the area, frustrated, I stopped and got directions from the Yelp page (yes, this page :-) and easily found the store. read more

I had been in this store only a couple of times in the last 20 years before needing to visit there twice in just the last month. I'm now a Killearn Ace Hardware convert/fan. The customer service and knowledge of the staff at this location make this store stand well above the other big-box hardware stores in town. During my most recent visit, I was quickly greeted by an employee and directed to exactly what I would need. Upon arriving at the correct location, I was greeted by a different employee who went on to provide even further assistance with my problem. Excellent service! As soon as we entered the store, we were asked if we needed assistance to find anything. My hubby needed concrete floor filler to finish a home project. They knew what he asked for and took him right to it with several different types and brands to ensure accuracy. They had just what he needed. My kids even found a cute cheap flying toy to keep them busy while he worked on the project. Check out was a breeze. Definitely service with a smile. read more

I'm not sure I will ever go back to Home Depot or Lowe's! This place is small, but they really do have almost everything. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful...you don't have to wander aimlessly down aisle after aisle until someone will help you. Very conveniently located as well! read more

I just got back from this store and felt compelled to write a review. The staff at this Ace is very helpful. They can set an amateur on the path to a great completed project. I choose them over the big box stores every time. You can't beat their friendly and knowledgable staff. They don't try to compell you to buy the most expensive item!
