Very frustrating experience with the Fed Ex department. Very unhelpful and spent more time talking to each other than helping the customer. When asking for help they cited store policy and walked away. He said he would charge me $1 per minute to help me. I've never used this store to ship anything before, it was unbelievable. Our closest and much loved Office Depot in Wilsonville is closing. Out of brand loyalty, I went to the next closest location in Tigard. As a regular and frequent customer of the other store, I had grown accustomed to excellent service and friendly staff. Boy was I in for a surprise. This location was the opposite. I approached a staff member as I had some questions and was hoping she could help me. The staff member I encountered was extraordinarily abrupt and rude. I explained that I was coming over from the other store. She commented that they were getting a lot of people from Wilsonville and said it in a way that seemed as though she was almost mad or annoyed that they were getting so many customers from the other store. I was not welcomed to the store nor did anyone offer to help me find what I needed. I did not expect a ticker tape parade, but I did expect professionalism and customer service. My questions about print services, which I use extensively, were met with curt responses that did not reflect as though the employee wanted to retain me as a customer. Frankly her tone was hostile and almost dismissive, I gave up trying to get my questions answered as she wasn't listening. I walked away and will not be going back. read more

Purchased a " new " printer at this location today. Upon opening the box, it was obvious that this printer had been bought, tried to set up, and then returned. Plastic wrap not on product. Power cord out of plastic pouch. No instruction manuals, CDs for insulation, or ink cartridges, to fill reservoirs. Upon return to get a replacement was given the third degree. Explained to the sales person that you sold me a used and returned product as new. Someone had to put it back into the box and reseal it with packing tape. Played dumb. Not just unethical, but I believe illegal. read more

I use services here every few months-copy services. Both online and self-serve machines. On-line is hit or miss but I think it's the fault of the online Office Depot program and not the workers. I have never written a Yelp review before, but I've also never been treated horribly as an Office Depot staff treated me in my life, as a customer. I came to this location to print papers for my employment. I made the mistake of asking one of the cashiers who was standing and chatting around (her name started with an M, but I could not remember the rest of her name) for assistance with printing my documents, as I have never used Office Depot to print materials before. Since I am from somewhere other than Oregon, I cannot access a printer. She bluntly told me she could not help me because there was information in my files that they should not see (which did not make sense to me). She dismissively pointed me to the "Self-Service" section, to which I had nicely asked her if she could help me operate the machines, to which she replied, "There are instructions there. You can follow it." These employees were standing around the cashier's area, about 3 or 4 of them, not doing anything, just chatting with each other, and no one could help me operate their machine. They stared at me like I was an annoyance to their conversation. I proceeded to try to print my documents unthinkingly because, by the looks and intonation of these employees, helping me is a very remote possibility. I needed to figure out which machine to use, how to operate it, and whether to go to one of the computers because there was no direction. Unknowingly, I entered a space where I should have never been, and the lady employee ("M") who refused to help me came rushing over and yelled at me for being in the area. Again, she pointed to some machines and still refused to help! I was already exasperated at this point, and to top it off, the printer that I was on was not working. I went back to them and asked a young guy why the printer was not giving me a code after I had input the required email address THREE TIMES, and to which he responded, "you probably did not enter the email address right," and walked off. He made me feel as though I was illiterate. Thankfully, Aaron, the shift supervisor, came over and asked me if I needed anything. It turns out, even he, had a hard time printing my docs. I told him I was not happy with how I had been treated at his store, to which he said he would talk to "them." He nicely gave me my copies without making me pay for them, even though I insisted, as a gesture of damage control. These employees at the storefront (cashiers) gave this company a bad name. The unprofessionalism, clear dislike of their job, and perhaps laziness and lack of motivation should not be tolerated. Walking into this Office Depot with this kind of employee gives one the vibe of entering a sleazy, disreputable store instead of an established name like Office Depot. These employees have way too much time on their hands just standing around and doing nothing. Office Depot should examine the actions of their workers as their attitudes would reflect the company and what they stand for. Bad employees like this should not bear the store's name. read more

walked in on a Sunday after 10am - one objective, get printer ink. I am very resourceful and usually like to find items on my own. This visit was no different. The parking lot was empty - and I was the only customer in the store. 8 or so red vested employees throughout. Not one staff member said hello or cared to ask if I needed help as I kept wandering and wandering. Now, like I said before I do like to find my own things - but to not even get a greeting when there were no other patrons inside, I walked by about half the staff. I broke down and asked the nearest employee who was placing sales tags (a typical Sunday chore in retail) - I asked her about the ink and she didn't even look at me, but pointed and said "at the front, secured behind the desk" Oh Dear! I've worked retail multiple years and I know some days suck and you do not want to interact, but this was offensive. Especially the employee to customer ratio - they should be ashamed. The guy at the counter was decent, John, he helped me identify what I needed and told me prices. Check out was fine. Of course I go home and find I could order on-line, free delivery for $6.50 less. They have gone out of their Way every time I come. They provide the best customer service. I was recently in the store to buy computer and Dave the manager helped me even after a long day of working. Instead of running out the door he stayed to help me and got me a fantastic computer. People like Dave are the reason why i return to a store. Thanks Dave I love my computer. read more

We own a small business and through the years we have purchased $1000's of office supplies. 45 days ago we purchased a $1200 Epson Printer from Office Depot not even thinking about looking at the return policy. shame on us! unfortunately we received an error code that is not allowing us to reset or repair. the error code can't be found anywhere. called office depots tech and he couldn't be any help... then asked for an exchange due to being extremely busy and needing this printer to work as it should. Well sadly the exchange refund policy is 14days. hmmm maybe this is why Amazon is taking over the world. Moving forward we will not be supporting Office Depot. read more

Nothing gets my hackles up more than seeing sales ads on my tablet and then when I go to the store the item is not available. Nor are any similiar items with sales pricing. Experienced this recently at Office Depot and Best Buy. No wonder online shopping has become so popular. read more

I don't know if it is just Office Depot general employee/training culture or what but I hate going to this place. There are people in your face when you walk in, walk around, and they upsell you every GD think down to stamps. They obviously have some incentive to get people to sign up for loyalty cards because they PUSH HARD at the register. You say "no thanks" and they pitch you more, you say "no" again, and they push it until you have to show frustration that you don't want a card. Plus, multiple people will walk up to you within 2 minutes. I am all about customer service, but this feels like 15 used car salespeople circling you like jackals with no regard or care if someone else just walked up to you. Bottom line is I am going to start shopping online for office supplies again or find another store. read more

I have been using their in store printing for my class materials and have been very happy. They are always happy to hell and they have met all of my deadlines, even when I know I am setting deadlines way shorter than they're typically able to meet. read more

Copy and Print gave me nice service and even let me use a printer because I had printed off the wrong shipping label for my drop-off. Bathrooms were clean and well-lit. Item I wanted was in-stock and didn't take too long to fetch from the front storeroom. Will return. read more

So I finally took the printer back after being asked by HP to do some kind of dosey-doe with an ethernet cord. No thanks. I made clear to Office Depot Staff that it was not working properly. I got a replacement of a different make for a great value. The staff was also quick in handling the transaction. It's a miracle! Service comes first at the Tigard OD . . . The Tigard Office Depot stands out for its service. A few weeks ago I set about purchasing a printer and an installation contract from another OD store. The printer installation service logistics turned out to be unsatisfactory, and the printer itself had many flaws . . . further, in trying to find a better printer and make the exchange, the OD store I bought the printer from decided they would not sell me another printer, lest I was dissatisfied with that one, too. I decided to complain to the Office Depot Regional Office. But before doing so, I checked with the Tigard store on Sequoia Parkway. I had no sooner told my sad tale than the store general manager, Jen, stepped in and immediately ordered the replacement printer I wanted, set up a new installation, and assured me she and her crew would help with any other problems I encountered. What a difference in the transaction, and in my resulting opinion of Office Depot. I will return to the Tigard store in the future, for the good management as well as many store services I can use. read more

When I lived in Portland, and commuted to work in Salem during the week, I often stopped here for my business. This was 06/07, and there was an employee who my mom and I both thought was the rudest customer service rep in the world. She gave a sterile gaze of nastiness. But since I haven't been there in a few years, I'll stick to reviewing the store. The layout is nicer to the one on Canyon Rd., and so its easier to find products. The prices at this depot, seem to be lower than most depots, which is weird. If you shop at depot often, you'll notice prices are not the same at every store, especially in regards to electronics. Anyway, this is a 3-star store...but if that lady still worked here, it'd prolly be a 2 star. read more

I realize Office Depot owns OfficeMax but this particular store is so inferior it's unbelievable. Rarely do I go to this location because it always disappoints as it did again today. They were out of one color of ink and instead of offering the multipack of all three colors at the individual color prices, the clerk just said sorry, can't do it. Normally I would not write a review for a store, but this place just blew my mind with its ridiculousness yesterday so I felt compelled to shout it from the Yelp mountain tops. They had a desk on clearance that I have been wanting, so I went in with my husband to pick it up. Three different people tried to sell us the service plan on it. THEN, at check out the lady kept trying to up-sell other products as well. I know that is what they are trained to do, but they need to take it down a notch. The store its self is clean, and has allot of product options which I like. The desk I bought was a great deal and I love it, but next time I will go to a different location. read more

I'm so disappointed with their service. They spend more time on their walkie-talkie than paying attention to customers. It didn't seem to matter there were 5 guys in Office Depot shirts walking around the store, only one person seemed to want to help customers.
